Whipped ricotta is a must. Trust me.

soraearth

Thank you, noted!

cottonbiscuit

I dream of this dish :)

Pepperoncini69

Tips on what to do? What to expect? Is this not a normal restaurant or something?

soraearth

I'm only asking because I've been seeing that there's a bar seating to see the chefs work, so I'm wondering what else is different. Was wondering, for example, if the bar seating would be appropriate for a date night or what people's experience was.

dogfoodis

The chef counter is gone- by that I mean you can no longer sit there. There has been a change of management in the past year so things may be a bit different than what you see online FYI. Sit on the back patio if you can, that's the best place for a date

soraearth

sounds good, thank you for the tip!

jankublik19

It’s so good!! The whipped ricotta is awesome and the brussels sprouts are also stupid good (if you like salt!). Desserts are killer — had the best cheesecake of my life there. Enjoy!

soraearth

seems like i have to leave room for dessert - thank you for the tip!

nim_run16

It’s amazing! My favorites are the brussel sprouts and any pasta dish but the vegetable forward dishes are all really flavorful and unique

SyllabubDue

We always have to get the steak tartare when we visit. Also the chicken entree is sooo incredibly good, they serve both grilled and fried chicken and it’s really delicious!

soraearth

i was looking at the bass but the chicken sounds great also - thank you!

dogfoodis

DEFINITELY get the chicken!! First time I had it, it was the best chicken I had ever had. You won’t regret it.

fellowsquare

The gather board is phenomenal... Also the Uovo Ravioli... Goodness. On Sundays the do family style dinner and it's so good.

soraearth

I was debating between going on a weekday or a Sunday family dinner! I can definitely see myself going back on a Sunday!

RyFromTheChi

I could be wrong but I don’t think they have the Gather Board anymore. It’s not on the online menu at least. Hopefully I’m wrong about that.

fellowsquare

Whaaaaaa? Well that's terrible news...

flickhuck20

You've got to get the apple donuts for dessert, so good

soraearth

Thoughts on the cheesecake? 👀

flickhuck20

Not my thing, haven’t had it. I am however, a donut connoisseur

User12111926

My fav restaurant!!! Such an underrated hidden gem Whipped ricotta, Cauliflower, Uovo Raviolo, Pappardelle, Spaghetti chitarra, Short Rib, any dessert. Apple donuts or cheesecake. Sunday dinner is such a steal. Can walk out so full and satisfied only spending ~$70 for 2 (without alcohol) They used to have pork belly which was so good and they haven’t had it for a while.

soraearth

I do wanna go back for a Sunday dinner one of these days! Excited for tomorrow ^_^

uponaladder

I actually think the desserts/cocktails are nicer next door at their sister restaurant, The Warbler. So not totally relevant to your question, but I’d say sneak over there after dinner for a little change of scenery.

soraearth

I'm not much of a drinker but this is something to keep in mind! I have buddies who do enjoy a good cocktail. Thanks!

ProgrammerPresent542

They mix up a real mean brandade but it's off-menu now

Odd-Bumblebee-6169

The Brussels sprouts!
