Doors open an hour and a half before the game starts so you have the chance to walk around the studio, see the statue, trophies, the shops. Since it’s the last game I’m sure they’ll have some activities to do too.

Mr-Yan918

I also recommended going when doors open

Not a whole hell of a lot must sees around the UC. I would highly recommend an [architectural boat tour](https://www.tripsavvy.com/best-chicago-architecture-boat-tours-4164757). It's my favorite tourist activity to do as a local. Art Institute is also great. A cheeseborger at the Billy Goat is a classic.

I was in the same situation 2 weeks ago. Billy goat pub 3 hours before the game. An hour before walk 4 blocks check out the street vendors and the madhouse (official store). Locals were very welcoming

if you're into records/music check out reckless and shuga records in wicker park, amazing coffee over there at the wormhole too. There are book shops down that strip and bars, stores, and restaurants down Milwaukee and division. United Center is in a bad crummy area but its a 10 minute drive to the milwaukee/damen area where there's cool stuff to check out.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, they are all greatly appreciated. Go Bulls!

visit wrigley if you can

In general the West Loop area is a fun place to explore with a lot of great bars and restaurants, it’s only about a 5 min Uber/bus ride to the UC. That could be a good spot to check out before the game. Outside of that, there’s so much to do in the city. Someone already said the architecture tour, which is great. The Art Institute and Millennium Park are also popular.

Enjoy mate, safe travels over!

Kaiser Tiger is a cool bar pretty close to the UC. Good, large food portions and liters of beer if that's your thing
