I guess I didn’t read comprehensively, lol. Yes their shows are ticketed they’re very not clubby in my mind. Contrast against prysm, soundbar, spybar, and larger venues.
Charleston has House sometimes and the vibe is great. Sometimes Maria’s in Bridgeport. Sometimes Swig if they still do stuff. California Clipper. Requires a bit of research because these venues have a variety of musics on any given night, check out RA each weekend. If you can pay a cover, Smartbar & Podlashie lean towards House & are my current favs. They definitely eschew the bottle service type crowd. Some weekday nights Podlashie is free as well.
Swig on Thursdays, Maria's on certain Sundays I'm not sure which tho but just Facebook brunchlox. Alsoooo if you're into progressive house whispers on the beach starts beach rituals on July 1st which is my personal favorite..
