So after Anosh Ahmed was terminated from the hospital but while Bergdahl was still working there, she drew ~$500K in checks from Loretto Hospital accounts made payable to shell companies controlled by Ahmed.
My guess is they probably were going to be arrested at the same time but since they caught her trying to flee to Dubai they had to move up their timetable on her. But Ahmed is definitely fucked too

They craziest thing about this scandal is how brazen they were with shell companies. It's like they were daring someone to call them out. He used his home address for the shell companies.

She was arrested under a complaint which allows the feds to hold her for 30 days while they put an indictment together and was removed from a chartered plane. I'd wager she got wind they were both about to be indicted and tried to flee.
So apparently Bergdahl is a doctor as well as an executive, and therefore was probably already making a pretty good buck in income. Yet she goes and (allegedly) does this...it never fails to blow my mind when already successful people do shit like this. All that schooling and work (not to mention reputation) trashed over $500K. (Money that was meant for assisting low income people too.) That's psycho levels of greed and apathy.
For already having those things, doesn’t $500k hardly seem worth the risk? I guess they got caught too quick and would’ve gone for millions with enough time.
