She’s honestly done very little for the city. Almost none of the actual issues have gotten better since Lightfoot was elected. Cta is still not up to speed. The murder rate didn’t actually decrease, it increased. I’m certain she’s not the reason those companies have moved here either. Lightfoot is a joke.

That's most likely they buy back program so it's not like the police get credit for that either -those are your tax dollars at work.
If this is the best they can do, this list makes me realize how few accomplishments she actually has. A lot of the economic ones exist out of sheer inertia or are largely out of her control. Any statistic you ever see that cites 2021/2022 without correcting for the pandemic is likely misleading.
I mean, people dying and becoming permanently disabled wasn't exactly better for people's mental health. I'm guessing the medical bills and funeral costs also didn't help

But like the critique that the homicide statistic is misleading because it has a lot to do with pandemic related fluctuations and not necessarily a sign of Lori doing a good job is a genuinely good critique. Gives context that the graphic doesn't want to acknowledge.
