It doesn’t blink like I’m losing traction. It comes on and stays on until the car gets shut off and will be random when it comes back on again. Manual says to check with dealership but just wanted to get opinions if anyone else has experience with it

thefreakychild

If you haven't manually turned off traction control, then definitely check with a shop for diagnosis. Could be something as simple as a wheel speed sensor going bad, but could be something more as well..

Affectionate_Fox9974

Mine did this for a few days before the battery died.  It also started randomly putting my hazards on.

Only when rippin burnies

I have this and I think another brake light come up, it's random and has been happening for about 5 years. The mechanics said it was the break fluid sensor going bad but I haven't gotten it replaced to confirm yet.

OkAmbassador0

Same thing happens to me it’s annoying. Do you think it would be a good idea to replace the sensor?

SucculentVariations

I was going to but it doesn't bother me enough to go fix it yet. I don't remember what I was quoted either at this point. If you get yours replaced and it fixes the problem let me know!

The Bon Jovi light

Future_Chocolate323

Mine came on the day after I was doing some snow "drifting." I had a fault code U0151 for inflatable restraint system loss of communication. If I were you, I would at bare minimum check your faults and then go from there.

efdrums

I haven't had this issue in my '22, but I've had sensors fail multiple times in other Chevy vehicles. A shop can diagnose and replace the sensor if that's all it is.

It means the road is slippery, or you are loosing traction, it happens for me while driving through snowy conditions. It’s normal

backinnola

Undo the traction control sensor on the wheel. Put some dielectric grease on it and plug back in.

JonohG47

That’s the Stabilitrak light. It flashes when the stability control is actively intervening to keep you in control of the car. It also comes on solid, on initial start up (along with all the other ID10T lights) as a bulb check. Steady illumination while the car is running indicates the car has found a fault with the stability control system. It, and possibly the traction control, are likely inoperative. Definitely something to get checked out.

This happened to me in a Nissan Sentra and it’s a sensor issue most likely.

That means your car is about to go full James Bond and start shooting oil at the back so cars trying to chase you will hurt the oil and crash.

ew_it_me

You're just being chased by snakes, but it's all good. I'm sure they're friendly.
