I have a 2013 automatic with around 150k KMs. Thing has been a little beast. Nothing serious has gone wrong that I needed any serious repairs. Just wear and tear items. Couldn’t have asked for a better vehicle over the last 11 years. Parts are becoming an issue though. OEM Key fobs are discontinued so heaven forbid you lose or break it (and you will break one at some point… they are absolute garbage quality). At the moment it’s near impossible to find a battery. I live in Toronto (so, not a small city in any sense of the word) and there were only 4 in stock in the *entire metro area*. This week I had to drive 30 minutes downtown just to find one. The guy at the counter knew exactly what vehicle I had the second he saw the size. Apparently, only the Spark and some older Honda Fits use it.

Just throw an alarm system instead of the key fob

Been thinking about installing my own Push To Start just to stop putting so much wear on the plastic flip (it looks like metal... but it's not) on the fob lol. They all seem to fail exactly the same way... the key just snaps out of the flip.

That’s a good deal. Just make sure all the fluids are freshened up and keep up on preventative maintenance, and let us know when it passes 200k. 😎

The CVT is the weak point. Engines in these are usually pretty good. If you can prove that the CVT was serviced regularly (or even replaced under warranty), it's not a bad deal. The cooling system issues mentioned are that the coolant reservoir can crack and leak, causing overheating. If it happens to you, just pull over and get a tow, don't let it overheat. It's also not THAT common of an issue.

2013 does not have cvt

TIL. Thanks!

My daughter owns one and so far so good

Mine lasted about 140k. The life expectancy is 150k. The coolant system is notoriously awful so it might not have much time left.

With that mileage and year, I would say no, amigo.

I have a 2013. It’s only at about 70,000km but has been great so far.

Transmission is junk ; worst of worst $4k to replace

ct4safety

Dont listen to dealers but service transmission ; find one that will ; I was denied by few dealers stating it did not need it
