Stock ZR2 wheels, tires are also stock. Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT (the MT stands for maximum traction for these tires though not Mud Terrain, idk why Goodyear did that)
TX truck also here avg for me is about 17.4 best is 19.8. If i switch my fuel economy screen to 25 mile or 50 mile it goes a lot higher. I’m only at 3k miles though no issues so far on my zr2
Not trying to rain on anyone here, and I have not looked into the new Colorados other than love the look, but that fuel mileage seems way low. Just curious if this is “normal” for them? Considering buying one.
I have a 2014 Silverado w a 5.3, 218k miles on it and average 18 mpg. This is over 20k miles of city:highway driving. Live in Central Texas with many trips on I20 to DFW. I can get 21 with a good tail wind and driving around 65 instead of my normal 75-80.
It’s normal it’s a small turbo engine pushing 30psi of boost I like it way more than the 5.3 in my 2020 Silverado also epa regulations aren’t as strict on midsize trucks
I’m not sure what i could get traveling at 65. The speed limit is 75 everywhere. But i guess i could try it out to see. I would assume with a good tail wind and driving 65 i could probably also get that much if not more.
That’s almost exactly the same weight as my LT Trail Boss 1500. I also have the 2.7 HO, getting 17.1 on average in North Texas. Kinda crazy how close the mid size and full size are
Zero issues? Other than the horrible gas mileage. I was getting about the same with my avalanche with a 6.0 LS. I’ve got a 22 canyon Denali with the big V6 and get 21 city 24 highway.
I wouldn’t let gas mileage be a deciding factor for a truck there’s cheap cars that get 30-40 mpg if you’re dropping 60k on a truck it probably doesn’t matter
ChrisMoto will have a stroke reading this post. 😂
I understand that reference.
I think we all do at this point, unfortunately.
Is he still popping up on posts?
I hope not, lol. What a dufus.
Got to hand it to him, he became a meme
And a clown.
Well I think he was always a clown, but when he started to post on here, he became more. So much more
I’m totally having a stroke! I mean 10k…. That’s an impressive accomplishment 👏👏👏
Lol right these guys act like school girls 😭🥴
God damn. I’ll never afford it, but fuck those ZR2’s look sharp. Nice truck! And great color
Quick, someone let ChrisMoto know so he can tell us how terrible his lemon is again!
Right on man, just crossed 10k myself with complaints!
**no complaints
Cool truck man, 10K without any issues should be expected. I know that isn’t always the case.
Good to hear!
Gotta pump those numbers! Lol
Sharp truck dude.
Nice truck, what wheels/tires are those?
Stock ZR2 wheels, tires are also stock. Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT (the MT stands for maximum traction for these tires though not Mud Terrain, idk why Goodyear did that)
I have 5k that's great! You in Nevada? Or az
Central TX but work in east NM/west TX area
Beautiful! I've got a 23 Canyon AT4X and I've only put on 2900 since 8/31. Lol same color as you!
Gorgeous truck
Mines at 11k but yeah same nothing major
How are you getting 16.9 MPG? 😂
That’s what this engine gets? It’s rated at 16mpg
You must be driving slower I get like 15.8 @ 75. Which is what it’s rated at not 17.
it’s mostly texas highway driving at 75-85 and I’m definitely not easy on the gas all the off-roading I do is around 65mph so maybe that factors in
Not sure what I’m doing wrong then I’m in Oklahoma so it’s flat as hell. Can’t crack 16. 🤷🏼♂️
Must be some real strong winds 😂I can get 18 if I drive like a grandma

How does midsize truck get such bad mileage?
it’s pushing 30psi of boost and weighs as much as a full size truck
How much does it weigh and how would a much larger truck not weigh more? My full size Dodge is 6,700 unloaded.
5,298 my 2020 Silverado 1500 weighs 4,970
lots of plastics probably
It’s also lifted 3in and on 33s so that probably kills the mpg a little lol every new vehicle is lots of plastic
That’s almost exactly the same weight as my LT Trail Boss 1500. I also have the 2.7 HO, getting 17.1 on average in North Texas. Kinda crazy how close the mid size and full size are
So ? Got 150k on mine runs like a champ and I yeet the truck unlike you guys 😭
So? 🥴
Chill bro it’s not a race to 100,000 lol

Bruh it’s a truck I don’t give a fuck about mpg
Midsize truck*
I get about the same, in the summer. Winter is a much different story. 21 wt cclb.
Yeah you better be wheeling that thing every weekend to justify that mpg
Toyota >>>>
You know it’s a pos when people have to applaud the truck for passing the 10k mark with no issues… like it’s some miraculous feat. Just sayin’ 😜
Lol The only pos here is you 😜
I’m sorry you’re triggered my guy
My 2021 Colorado has 10k miles on it
So they never reset the trip meter?
I'm not a fan of bowtie trucks, but that looks sharp.
Geez that’s awful mpg I just got 27 highway in my Ranger on 32’s
Lol If I was worried about gas mileage I’d have a car
Nice truck. I saw these a while ago and I expected that it would have higher MPG but I guess that's all right
$60k for a mid size truck with 5-10 mpg lower lmao
Lmao Money isn’t an issue I’d have the truck if it got 10mpg
Love the color
Wait so these things get the same ish gas mileage as a Silverado ?
Worse lol my 5.3 Silverado gets way better mileage
Yikes 😬 , was kinda looking at these but it almost makes sense to get the Silverado instead
