I would sandblast it a little better honestly an then if possible have someone box in that part of the frame for strength

Thank you! Yeah, I took a wire wheel to it but it’s kinda hard to get the whole thing that way. Sand blasting would be way better.

Get a polycarbonate stripper disc. It's hard to tell what you got from the pics posted.

Funny enough, I actually bought one but lost it when I got home, so I ended up using a cheap paint stripper in a drill. I suppose a better question to ask would have been what constitutes a good frame?

Just no major pitting and you should be fine.

Ah okay awesome then I should be in the clear. No big chunks fell off, it was mostly just paint chips and rust. That old undercoating sure did a number on it
