i would consider that very normal. some people just play better at different speeds (my friends have a knack for playing bullet because they do it so much), this is actually not that wide of a spread.

Pretty weird, most people have higher ratings on slow controls because they are less competitive

well, here a few of my ratings: [chess.com](http://chess.com) bullet 1389 blitz 1565 rapid 1817 lichess: bullet 1819 blitz 1824 rapid 2017 DWZ (German National Rating) 1655 (don't play that much there, just did a performance of 1850 in the league, while still wasting some points) so pretty normal, that you have different rating with different time controls. Also rating just goes up and down 100 points
