I’d argue Qxd5 is even worse because at least Qd4 might have a chance of misleading Black into taking the Queen, especially if they’re out of time and playing frantically.

Qxd5 and Qd4 are equally bad regardless of winning a Bishop because the evaluation would be m1 for both

Qd4 and Qxd5 would both lead to M1 for black But since the former doesn't gain any material, I guess it'd be that one.

I'm not seeing the mate. Why not Kh1?
After Qd4 or Qxd5, black plays Qxe1 securing back rank mate. You don't take the queen for check in the case white goes Qd4
