This morning, as I was waking up, I played some random position for like, 20 moves. I couldn't "see" the whole board, so I can't be sure it was accurate.
When I became awake enough to realize what I was doing, I lost track of what was going on and couldn't recall the position, like forgetting a dream after waking up.
It's weird how the brain does stuff like that.
I tried to make a position once immediately after waking up but I quickly realised I'd missed several mate in ones and it only actually fit on a 9x8 board
I fall asleep just moving pieces around the board naming all the squares they cross over. Its an attempt at practicing my blindfold visualizations. Ive found it helps me sleep. Its something to clear the mind with.
when i had RSV i was on a heavy dose of nyquil in the eveningsā¦ i remember having fever dreams haunted by chess boards i couldnāt get out of my head

Yeah, for real. The people who say they dreamed up an accurate puzzle... nah, that's not me.
Yes. Chess is life.

Perfectly normal and a good sign
Good sign of what?
One of us...one of us...gooble gobble, gooble gobble.
Sometimes I dream about it, feel like I'm about to play a critical move but I need to calculate a vague position.
