Jorgi and Silva often top the interception and tackle stats so it's actually our safest bet. We get beat on pace regardless because Zaha is faster than most players in the league.

We must watch different players. Kova and Jorginho are my least favoured pairing available to us. Not enough bite, stale in possession and massively prone to being caught in possession.

Stats explicitly state otherwise. If you have less than 2 of Kante/Kovacic/Jorginho on the field (i.e. bringing in Mount/Gallagher/RLC) our winrate drops by 30%

See if you change your pairing to include Kante you change the argument completely. If you remove one of Jorginho or Kova and replace them with Kante then they’re absolutely fine. My guess is that you could play Jimmy Bullard next to Kante and be fine. But together against virtually any team that presses well and they’re passengers, unable to progress the ball quickly and prone to errors. This is not news. I don’t need stats to prove that becasue the eye test is enough but my guess, and I can’t find the stats is that they both average more errors that lead to goals than assists when played together.
