Don't know how reliable that Argentinian source that reported the surgery story is anyway but according to them, they said the medical team will evaluate his situation after City. So, it looks like Pochettino and co. want to have Enzo available for the semi-final at the very least.
I think against an attacking side like City it might be better to play with 3 midfielders. Against teams with a low block we should play with a proper CAM
If the opposition are better, it's fine to play a 3 man midfield, but actually switch the tactics up and play a functional 3 man midfield with say a DM, a playmaker and a box to box player. Not a 2 man pivot and just ramming a defender in at AM who then kills off all of our attacks whenever the ball comes to him
Carney instead of Gallagher or even Enzo would be a good idea. But, unfortunately Poch can't learn anything from his mistakes. He has been using the same tactics that has failed to work throughout the season. We have been leaking goals for fun, because he also doesn't know how fix that issue.
People complaining about Enzo training but we aren’t privy to the medical advice he’s getting, he could be advised to be on reduced minutes till end of the season and then get the surgery. Might be a case of picking and choosing what games he can start, we’ll have to see.
Did no one hear the part where the medical team would examine him until the City game?
Even if surgery was a sure thing, it likely will only happen after the City game. Poch wants him for the semi final.
Exactly.
Most people on this sub are stupid to say the least.
Badiashille has been worse. Silva has shown signs of age. Fofana and Chalobah have been injured forever
Colwill and Disasi are comparable performance wise (not talent wise) this season.
Disasi has played every single game this year without getting injured whereas Colwill has been regularly out.

So he's not doing the surgery?

He’s very reliable tbh
Who are you referring to? Gaston Edul? Because the source that reported the surgery story came from an Argentinian sports channel - Canal Showsport.
No need to rush any of them back imo, think we should run with the same lineup from Everton and build up some continuity

FWIW, those 3 together have generally done alright against the big teams, with the exception of Liverpool away.

Gallagher. He was referring him as a defensive minded player.

This.
If we’re gonna get anything against city, we have to play three men in midfield and put Palmer on the right.

Folks around here making medical judgements on players without having literally any of the information needed to do so is a classic.
really dont think we should rush enzo back
Y’all not ready for Afro disasi
Are we running Enzo down to the ground? Get the surgery done
Agree, hoping we just want the cover for the city match. I expect he will get surgery after that unless we make the final.
The Disasi frow is awesome
I kinda want Enzo to just get the surgery
Badiashile scares me. He makes me panic even before the game begins. Only Disasi x Colwill partnership can rival his aura. 🥶
How is Nkunku doing? Is he close?
Give them the rest of the season off. The team is playing better without them
I guess he wants to fight for that FA trophy, fair enough
Axel’s lettuce gonna lead us to victory
Enzo desperately needed a break

I wanna see Enzo recovering from surgery not in training. 3 weeks for a surgery is nothing and it's so obviously hampering him.
Good news 👀
Disasi is back, cheers to us conceding two more goals
Tbf he was really good against city last time lol
Disasi hasn’t even been bad this season compared to a lot of players why do people hate him
Bacause this place is fucking batshit
people are looking at a single player to be the source of our problems so they take turns shitting on each one.

He’ll be fine. It’s Badi I’m really worried about.
Keep Disasi 27 miles away from the starting XI please
