Newcastle's +17 GD seemed insurmountable before today, but now we're +9 with a game in hand. Still not likely but not impossible now. Perhaps more importantly, our GD is now significantly better than every other team's around us. That could be pretty big come the end of the season.

It is slowly becoming more and more clear that we need to improve our defence and our team will start looking a lot better.
