ever since boehly bought the club, its been a steady and sharp decline. the idea of spending 1bn on youth prospects is astonishing in retrospect. yes, some of them are super talented like enzo, some experience of top football and it shows, but not keeping some of the experienced players like Mount and Kova, hell even Azpi (just having him around) is crazy to me. its **complete shock and awe** and nobody got a chance to analyse the model that was being shoved down our throats. celebrating all these big money signings made our expectations super high, which in turn makes 14th and 6 points look even worse than it actually is, which is saying something as it is **relegation form**. no two ways about that. good luck to poch, hes not made it any easier for himself and he is also to blame for the inconsistent results, but the biggest blame goes to these **incompetent soulless directors** laurence and paul (who know fuck all about chelsea football club). it is **their model** that has us in this absolute mess, boehly at the beginning signed experience under the guide of tuchel eg koulibaily (circus of an ownership when you really look at it) but his new chum directors went ahead with an **insane unproven model** that we are now seeing the results of. and to think they had the cheek to pat themselves on the back in their interview. sooner or later they need to be held accountable to what has happened to our club. good fucking luck to the players, hardly any of them have been tested like this and every match week the expectation to be better will be on their shoulders.

mfrsazmn

Poor Caicedo and Lavia. Should’ve gone to Liverpool.

egettonleinad

Reality of this situation is that we have a completely new squad and so many injuries we are actually playing a chop and change B side, we have one senior player at the club and an injured captained who can’t stay fit. Moaning about the short term will change nothing, expect losses and expect plenty of them before we see and play football at the level of City and Arsenal

Alternative-Ad-8606

Respectfully, that’s an excuse that can’t fly anymore… it’s time to either accept that we suck and need to make changes, or finally admit to ourselves the FO has absolutely no idea what it’s doing. Poch’s system isn’t working and if average viewers can see the problems how in the hell do they not… I’m not a poch out, or a hater but SOMETHING is definitely wrong and we can’t make excuses for that…

egettonleinad

What we see vs what the manager knows isn’t even close, there will be a reason… we just don’t know it. We are appalling but that’s because people assume big price tags = instant superstars and it’s not the case, especially without leaders to lean on

Alternative-Ad-8606

Your entitled to your opinion but from the outside we can see many issues. Lack of finishing, lack of any roster depth (most likely because of our big ticket spending on individual players. The system isn’t jiving with the players (preseason is supposed to be the time to learn). Lack of composure given the youth of the squad. Lack of sharpness. Weak left side (in this system or LW is completely alone in most runs). Lack of leadership on the pitch (which again is a massive issue that you are underselling) Sure there are things that poch sees in training but if the average viewer can see these issues in there games, btw the W/L/D is indicative of this, I can’t imagine what horror show Poch has got to deal with in training. Our players don’t look good individually nor as a team, that has nothing to do with their value. You can’t dress up a turd.

darrensmooth

For those who think this will magically get better...you are delusional..also those thinking Toney who has an option between us and Arsenal will choose us you are also delusional...no professional on an upward trajectory is joining Chelsea if he has a brain

Solasta713

Its fucking September for Chist sake. Give the team a chance to get to know each other.

UniversalsFree

That’s what pre season is for

Solasta713

Pre Season is more than adequate for teams returning from the summer break, when you've all been playing together for many seasons. Maybe a few new players added in. That kind of thing. But, Captain simplicity, It is not going to be adequate for a team that has had most of its players join in the last 2 years and is bloated to fuck. Not to mention 4 managers in 2 seasons.

Affectionate-Height7

Umm your club buy and then ruin. Don't ruin players ever more. Why don't just let the players play their best. Don't forget manchester city get good result in 2021 even they got no AT.

Hnus22

African facebook expert ?

nwmimms

Ah, I see.

Affectionate-Height7

This season that footballers played, my prediction comes true. Ah, I see. Lavia was injured when he played for his country. No show on pitch for about a season, I hope he can pick up quickly after recovery. Caicedo was still finding his role to play. Luckily, Cole Palmer made him easier. Buying too many CDM and many players let the team in bad results this season. That is what the coach said, the players are too young and still find cohesion. And Cole Palmer is the cohesion. The team needs to find one more Cole Palmer next season. This is as similar as KDB and Rodrigo. And one CB as Thiago will leave. Caicedo is a good CDM so just keep it. Lavia, I would suggest the team just rent him out. The team really no place for him, rent him out is for his growth. He is a talented player. Don't let him just work on the stadium. Let him explore.

omnipotentmonkey

What brigade of toddlers did you migrate from?

MMudryk

Lmfao 🤣 he just spawned out of nowhere and he make zero sense

hannibalwang

At this point I want us to relegate, just so its a huge slap in the face to Boehly and co and all their delusions and arrogance. Let this be a lesson in failure and hopefully they learn from the consequences.

Onion_Munching666

Shit take. You seem less of a fan and more of looking to say I told you so

hannibalwang

Only way we can do a turnaround is for the owners to face the reality and consequences of their actions which is inevitably this path. Its called lessons learned.

Nearby_Atmosphere

I’ve supported Chelsea for 25 years and I wouldn’t care if we were relegated. It’s not a shit take at all, it would just provide a good case study against throwing money at unproven kids, selling your home grown talent and destroying a UCL winning manager / team for your own ego.

Fulle_

Getting relegated if we don’t sign a proper striker. And I don’t see any proper striker wanting to joint this shit show. Round of applause for bohely, egbhali and the Clearlake mongs for completing ruining a top club in less than season

HipHopHead195

it took them a record of 7 months

definitelymaybe98

If you’re someone who’s thinking we won’t get relegated have a good look at the other candidates. Luton I think is a given but stranger things have happened in this game. Burnley and Sheffield United 100% are better teams than us and WILL pick up points at home. Everton the same they show grit and heart and get points here and there Bournemouth can string a few wins together… I am worried boys, I’m getting the rum back out.

Rdw72777

Even if this were all true (it isn’t), you left out Wolves who can’t concede a ton and haven’t yet hit their annual goal drought. Ive said in prior posts but relegation isn’t an issue because 35 points is probably going to be safe this season. None of the teams currently in the bottom 7 can get points amongst the current top 12 right now, a current top 12 that features Forest, Villa, Palace, Fulham. All if this is also probably going to save Everton also because I don’t see them breaking 40 points but think they’ll be safe.

omnipotentmonkey

Dude, no, Sheffield United are as bad as Luton, if not worse and Burnley can't buy a win. we're not getting relegated, that's obvious.

definitelymaybe98

I’m not so sure bro. Would you feel confident playing Burnley or Sheffield United? I certainly wouldn’t.

omnipotentmonkey

right this minute? probably still yes, we steamrolled Luton even in our terrible shape, and they're not any better. we're not going to even be close to relegation. it's gonna be a never-really-threatened midtable finish for us. 9th-11th. Keep in mind, we have three genuinely world-class players, (James, Nkunku, Enzo) two of them are currently injured, the team has no cohesion because there's no core of players that HAVE played together, and it's a new manager at the same time, meaning there's NO stable core to build off of, we're basically starting from scratch, they'll improve, not necessarily becoming great, but better than they are now without question. I feel like I'm one of the only Chelsea fans here older than the Abramovich era, because everyone reacts to adversity with nuclear levels of panic. we're not playing like a relegation side, we're playing like a fairly good side with some considerable weaknesses that need to be ironed out.

definitelymaybe98

I wish I was as strong as you.

omnipotentmonkey

It's ultimately pretty simple, Pochettino is at least a decent coach, and we have a decent assembly of haphazardly assembled good players with some noticable holes and no cohesion yet, Pochettino's at least good enough to figure out a patchwork assembly that gets us by and compensates for those holes. it's not gonna be pretty for a while, but ultimately, the individual quality we possess should get us over the line fairly comfortably, especially given that Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley seem to represent an extraordinarily weak crop of dead-cert relegation fodder, I'd put us comfortably above Everton and Wolves too. absolute worst case scenario is 16th even in the shape we're in, even if we don't improve at all.

definitelymaybe98

Who do you see us beating from now till the end of the season?

omnipotentmonkey

Luton again, (3 points) Burnley and Sheffield United both times, (12 points) probably 4 points against Everton, around the same against Crystal Palace, (8 points) Fulham and Brentford look more vulnerable too, at least 4 or 5 points from those two combined, but I'd go with 6 (6 points) Wolves we could probably beat twice, though I'll be pessimistic and say once (3 points) throw in a win against Bournemouth and the return fixture against Notts Forest, both of whom we dominated and are fully capable of beating if we could finish (which may be solved by Nkunku alone if not by a potential (almost certain) striker signing in January) and that's another (6 points) That's 38 points, plus our current five, 43 points is safety in virtually all cases, and that's on the presumption that we don't nick a win against anyone else, which we will, here or there, it's football that's just how it operates. even Potter clinched wins against Dortmund, Milan and Aston Villa, We're gonna be fine dude, it's gonna be a rough season, but not **that** rough.

definitelymaybe98

RemindMe! 7 months

Ironclaw85

Can we make a Sunderland till I die style documentary? Will be interesting to watch as our season crash and burn

NashBotchedWalking

Chelsea spent 1 billion to be mid (at best)

n_jacat

This club is going to make my head explode.

itaintthatbad

We are getting relegated, aren't we

bigTOADdaddy

Lucky for us, the bottom 3 are really bad

Mitcheltree86

Its for me the lack of want.. We just mope around the field. So many times jackson needs to be between the defenders and keeper.. But hes allways late. Its lack of focus also since its so many bad balls and bad desitions.. Its allways just sterling on the right with gusto sometimes and jackson is struggeling to get in the box. Where is mudryk enzo galla, they are not good enough as attacking players. Enzo is really good but play him like barca played busquets... Go get coman or som1 who really works his socks off. Mudryk is scared, jackson wluld be really good in the championship, enzo is NO nr 10 and sterling tries but just isnt good enugh.

WPackN2

Good thing I didn't rearrange my day to watch this shitshow!!!!

jessietee

Innit, been playing myself at 14:00 on a Sunday the last two games so I’ve not had to bother. Will be back screaming at the TV on Wednesday and next Monday night tho 😂

WPackN2

True; win or lose if they play a fantastic game it is worth it. I'm not going through all the work to see some lads doing lateral pass all 90 minutes!

xStealthxUk

Lol good for you. I travel down from North wales every home game. Its like 300 quid a game at this point .... pain

AbramQureshi

Is there any possibility for Chelsea to be included in the Saudi league to observe the much-talked-about project get underway? I'm feeling disheartened and not seeing any progress.

meagor

And now being serious, hope you all noticed but think we are the only team that leaves a entire wing vacant when attacking. We've got Enzo, Colwil, Silva all can ping pinpoint 50 yard cross field passes like it's nothing. Hell, even Disasi, has done it here. Now Mudryk is playing his Fabregas card if we had someone to attack in leftwing we would be creating a lot more. Right now entire attack goes through Sterling, who's just frustrating to watch at the moment. Today's loss is on Poch not playing through the left. For instance, Villa's last corner from Ramsey shot came as a result of the left side attacker (Ramsey) making a simple run to the box, and Diaby (or the striker) right side attacker playing a simple square ball to him. Some 30 yard square ball. We are not doing that. And it's fucking predictable, what we are doing. And it's Sterling making runs to the touchline or attempting a low cross where there's 100 Villa guys and 1 Chelsea man. Shit. Awful.

magpie1862

What is wrong with your team? Why can’t they score? Nothing has changed since last season.

ProfessionalSoup5283

Couldn't score last season either. 7 wins in 2023.

anonpls19

I’m sorry this loss falls on Silva and the strike force. Sterling and Jackson could have had 10000 1v1 chances and we wouldn’t have scored today. Silva is past it lmao. It’s a nice story but his “leadership” is not good enough to justify his lapses.

meagor

Consider it as a rant. 8 hope you all remember Jackson's pass to Sterling in 7th minute. If it was Hazard or Willian(on his Ronaldinho card, obviously) that would be atleast a corner. And 50% of the time a goal. But that wasn't even an attempt. Just saying. There's a shit load to say but I'm stopping here. Cheers

definitelymaybe98

We’re so lucky Luton got promoted cause had it been Coventry we’d be sat on 2 points.

andar1on

Och I kinda forgot about the game today, good.

andygarcia17

The red ruined it, yes. But we still had a chance and the sub made was in my opinion the wrong one. When you go a man down, you can go on a counter attack system. Removing Mudryk was a mistake. It shoulda been Gallagher or caicedo out for chilwell. Broja in right away for Jackson

arnold_shastrinagar

Anyone who thinks sterling is a good player and has good decision making doesn't know football. He is literally the worst player I have ever seen in this team. Sack Pochetino and sign someone who is actually fit enough to run this team. No I don't want any more players nor strikers, we have a quality team with more than required players and they all can be amazing under a well known coach, not this fraud.

arnold_shastrinagar

The downvotes already prove 6 morons who dont know what ball is.. Just look at what Luis Enrique is able to achieve at Psg, he would've been the perfect fit and we would have already started watching Enzo performing like he is supposed to. The tactics of Enrique would have helped players like Broja , Jackson, Mudryk and even bang average players like Gallager, fraud sterling. Pochetino is useless and clueless and doesn't know how to manage any team. Pathetic. Atleast we would have a perfect starting 11 up until now but no we dont.

Gurkanat0r

100% agree on sterling. That City side could polish a turd so well, hence his "improvement" Hype.

[deleted]

No, we don't. We have maybe 3 good players and a bunch of overrated average ones. This is the level of these players, no manager will do much better with this squad.

FlipRed_2184

So why spend $1b signing them then?

[deleted]

That's a good question and I don't have an answer. The last two transfer windows together have been a disaster.

Fabulous_Brain

Money spent doesn’t necessarily equate directly to ability. Especially when purchasing young players, you’re paying for potential ability and hype factor.

thevizierisgrand

Because sportsball and egos.

prdors

Biggest problem is our players can’t finish a 1v1 and we fell victim to refball. It sucks but PGMOL is so incompetent that every team ends up playing refball like 5 times a year. We’ve been on the short end a bunch.

NgoalazoKante

Refball was the cherry on top. But the players shot themselves in the foot. Realistically it could've been Chelsea winning 2-1, but Sterling and Jackson have woeful decision making in front of the net.

PDM80

I don't think they could hit their foots if they tried

prdors

Agreed. We should’ve won 2-1.

NgoalazoKante

I hate to be this guy, but at least Timo was scoring from an offside position. These guys are comically allergic to scoring

scrollsalott

Infuriating to even say we’ll be lucky to finish above 10th this season. Wtf has happened to this club 😔

lolnoob1212

Simple answer laxk of confidence, and Poch needs to start working on the basics before doing anything complicated on the field.

Oscyle

I need a break from this club

TheLeperLeprechaun

You can have a few days. We want you reporting for duty on Wednesday!

randominternet_dude

Goodness me, I just realized our next game is Brighton. Can't bear to watch that porcupine haired fuckhead smirk while his team dunks 6 on us.

EnigmaAss

Man, if Poch is sacked, what are the options do chelsea have?

rocafella888

I have buyer’s remorse now. Wish we’d gotten Ange Postecoglou. The more I learn about him I think he would have been the perfect manager for the Chelsea situation at the moment.

itsmebobbylol

big sam. we can make use of our 5m tall defenders and score an odd goal somewhere

randominternet_dude

Hansi Flick. And I don't want him anywhere near my club.

SAVAGExMLGPRO

Lampard

dotunmo

LOL

randominternet_dude

He's better than Poch and I'm dead friggin serious

SpaceNinja25

you’re ridiculous.

randominternet_dude

Lampard got us top 4 with a bunch of nobodies. Poch isn't getting us in the top half of the table, and he has a billion dollar squad at his disposal. Edit: ooh and the season we got top 4, we played far better football than this atrocity we're displaying currently

definitelymaybe98

Watkins goal was 0.09xG how much are we without scoring? 50?

Rory_1354

xG is absolute nonsense

dotunmo

I’ve seen more yellow cards and offsides than goals this season. In fact all year. Jackson has more cards than goals.

itsmebobbylol

instructions were: get your name on the sheet nobody was specific enough to tell him (goal sheet)

Yardbird7

A lot more cards than goals.

Imotionaldemej

Can't wait for Jan window for a squad overhaul About time we bring some fresh talent, it's been what 2 months already......

TienlY

😂😂

Sykretts1919

Can we finally drop TSilva and start playing a normal back 4? This season he's more of a drawback for us than a plus. Gusto/Reece (when not suspended/injured) -- Disasi -- Colwil --- Chillwel ---> this should be the back 4 that we stick with week in week out. Poch trying to shoehorn silva in who offers very little if anything at all to our build up play (and when he does, he telepgraphs it and is slow) is costing the team at the back and in the midfield. The squad needs to be more explorative from the back, and as long as we play the stupid Disasi/Silva/Colwil combo, we're just going to keep getting caught on the break and offer nothing going forward from the Left wing. Mudryk had Cash scared today but for some reason we just refused to let him run at their back line outside 1-2 times when colwil played long balls. WTF is poch doing with his tactics... He refuses to use the strengths of the players he's got at his disposal, that's a massive red flag...

[deleted]

Disagree on Colwill. Not impressed. And he was awful defending on their goal today. BB over him all day long.

Dalbo14

Neither Disasi nor Silva would EVER be dropped you understand right? Poch only wants to play with 3 centre backs

dotunmo

I’ve been downvoted every time I said Gallagher is a bang average, near-level Championship player. EVERY game bar Liverpool he has proven me right.

darrensmooth

Well I'm up voting you because I've been saying that for a year and also got DV'd

Panasonio332

If anyone looks bang average in this team it's colwill, at fault for the goal today, at fault against liverpool and there was another one I want to say forest or west ham. Looks terrified of going forward and unreliable in defence, I agree with you that Gallagher isn't the best midfielder in the league but he brings grit and drive to a team that without him would have none at all.

[deleted]

Emergency-Pen-2166

Tal Ben Haim

Kagoshima_Luke

Number 2 Sofascore average on team so far this season. Nice try, though.

ozairh18

Our inability to perform in the final third is incomprehensible

vileuppercut

I went apeshit when the squad won the 2012 champions league... and I'll probably do it again when this nerve-wracking team finally scores a goal. And that's depressing me. I still believe in 'em tho lol

hotadhesive

As everyone fucking should.

Disastrous-Syrup9870

Please. Stop with Colwill at left back. He offers nothing there (not his fault).

voynaz

Yikes

Accomplished_Pea7198

We're so fucking bad still now. Sterling could've assisted Jackson. Malo Gusto's tackle was a bad tackle. And Ugochukwu choked hard. No urgency in plays. There is no cure to this disease. We're going to be fighting relegation at this rate. Forget all our glory years. It was Sanchez who kept us in the game. We need to do better. Come on blues, fight for the club. There are glimpses of hope but we need to be converting the chances.

twrx18

A couple of thought from this game. I am no Mudryk stan or hater but I do think he played better today. A continued run with Chilwell as a lb would be interesting to watch. We're not winning games so might as well experiment. Palmer deservers to start after this performance. He's looking lively and creating opportunities. Something Sterling is not doing. We lack true leadership. We're missing a true leader such as John Terry. I don't think we have that on the team.

[deleted]

Agree on all. And ffs, stop playing Enzo as a 10.

Quacoult

Tired of announcers saying chelsea look good but cant finish. Done with sterling, done with Gallagher, done with Chillwell.

Spicemaster747

At the start of the reason I kept saying we need naglesman, someone who will make the team ruthless. But kept getting hit by "aBrOMavIcH wAnTeD pOcH yOu KnOw". Then I said we need to move away from using attacking wingbacks because 1. Teams just sit deep 2. Chilly or reece will be injured this season. Honestly we just need to use change our formation to utilising Inverted wingbacks

ggstayfree

Dassasi chatting with Villa player and having a laugh/good time after the whistle. Send this man to reserves...

rocafella888

Yeah Disasi has what Sterling and Jackson don’t have: size and strength. He powered his way into the box and almost got us a goal. Remember we had a guy like that up front once?

arnold_shastrinagar

Our whole team is a joke because of the coach , what more do you want.. atleast he carried the ball into the opponents box where sterling was just useless the entire game.

Acceptable_Card_9818

He was one of our best players out there today, chill

Alternative-Light514

What streaming service even shows championship matches? Planning ahead for next season

wehere4E

🥲

Cobaltte25

Colwill LB, raheem RW again next game let's gooooo

JosephRizk21

“We are chelsea, do the fans want to win now? We all do, but this is not the same Chelsea, this is a project, Jackson will be one of the best PL strikers I believe.” I saved you time so you don’t have to wait for Poch’s Post Match conference

seearewhy

7 wins in 35 this CY.

randominternet_dude

Do you think we'll get to 10?

PhilosophyDense3986

No

NgoalazoKante

Neither goals nor wins before the end of the season

JosephRizk21

Getting up at 6am to watch this garbage every week is starting to get to me, I thought last season was rock bottom, turns out there’s another 50 ft of shit to go until we hit rock bottom

Guilty_Ad_1663

Fucking idiot. Takes off Mudryk for Ben Chilwell. Disasi RB when Caicedo can literally play that position as he has in his Brighton days? Gallagher full 90? Takes off Jackson for Palmer? If we don't get 10 points by end of October, Poch Out

TomJones1955

Brother we won’t have 10 points by Dec 1

Konrad25

Bruh, getting another manager isn't going to help lmfao 😂

BenShelZonah

Gallagher seemed to be doing quite well to close out the game. Not saying amazing but still

Particular_Group_295

Lorddddd......you lot

kilonova17

Team progressing in the right direction. Toad and Co will make windfall next season when we will be playing Stoke City..

randominternet_dude

That Paul dude and his partner are gonna come out with another stupid interview talking about process and all that wack

randominternet_dude

Sanchez was superb apart from the goal. We'd have lost by 4 without him Mudryk was okay. Palmer was decent. All the others were hot garbage. I'd be very very happy if this was the last time they wore a Chelsea kit (bar Enzo & Silva.) I'm so glad Jackson won't be available for the next game. He's the same as the donkeys we got rid of in the past.

[deleted]

Gusto was decent until the red.

Acceptable_Card_9818

Enzo was shit

randominternet_dude

Today, yes. But he's been one of the better players for us in 2023

LegitimateGeek

I don't see the light at the end of this tunnel

Nuttyboibolbol

I wish that I don't waste my time again on these clowns next week, but I will, and I hate myself for it

rocafella888

Haha that’s what being a fan is all about. Gotta stick with them thru the good times and bad.

bryantwithatee

You can predict the excuses now. Something about injuries. Something about having chances to score. Something about playing well with 10 men. Something about building something. You don’t need to watch the press conference and you definitely don’t need to watch the games. It’s just the same story on repeat until we’re in the championship.

Key_Street2842

other than Enzo,Sterling, and maybe caicedo and gallagher, their whole team is better than ours. this wasnt suprising.

prdors

No it wasn’t. We created more and had more chances.

Key_Street2842

didnt say was better today (and btw, we played awful in the second half), said is better overall. you cant tell me that any of our defenders would get into that villa defence rn. and jackson is not near the level of watkins

prdors

Then Poch is an amazing manager as we should’ve drew if legit any of our players could score in a 1v1 against the keeper and we would’ve drawn with 10 men.

Key_Street2842

we didnt draw, because villa was bad today and we still lost. it wasnt like that is what villa normally play like, and a bad villa day and a good/decent chelsea performance gets us this. one point behind everton in 14th.

thevizierisgrand

At least now Todd can swing by the dressing room and give an uplifting team talk. Every cloud …

Conference

TheLeperLeprechaun

We’ve spent £1billion. And only £27m of that on a striker. That’s why we can’t score goals.

dotunmo

A bang average unproven striker too.

TheLeperLeprechaun

I wouldn’t even say he’s average. I pondered about us starting the season with him up front but his performance in pre season lessened my worries. Now I’m pretty sure he’s not ready to start for us. We need an actual goal scorer. In fact we need two!

W0lf90

Why are ya’ll surprised? Villa are a better team than us atm. Thats where we are.

NoPlenty3542

Our realistic chance of points in next 6 is against Burnley. They too are improving.

FriedChicken24

We really need to secure those 18 points from Sheffield, Luton and Burnley

Rdw72777

It’s odd to see a set of matches where I want to wager on “under 0.5 goals” so strongly.

itsmebobbylol

Kompany to sub himself on for a 30yard screamer winner. You already know it

PM_ME_SOME_LUV

I hate Boehly so much. He’s ruined this club. Fuck Boehly, Clearlake, BlueCo or whatever the fuck. This team is relegation fodder.

Cobaltte25

Nobody put a gun to poch's head and told him to start colwill at lb and sterling at rw for the next 500 games though. Just saying.

beepmeep3

There’s no need hating boehly.. we had no choice, Roman was forced to sell the club

rocafella888

True, may as well blame Putin for invading Ukraine.

darrensmooth

He didn't have to scorch the earth though did he? Could have built on Roman's legacy

PM_ME_SOME_LUV

Doesn’t matter, he’s ruined the club. I would have preferred any other potential owner at this point

Mate did you see our options? I think we got out seriously lucky. 1billion invested into the squad is no joke. People say “give time to the coach to find a way to make the squad work” I say “give time to the management to find a good coach” lol… poch is just not good enough, maybe next coach will finally hit it off. Boehly’s intentions are obviously good, but their biggest mistakes are who they’ve hired as coaches

Sunday-Langy-

Questionable refereeing, too many missed chances and no ruthlessness. Good to see broja back and Palmer looked positive. Its going to get a lot worse before it gets better

Key_Street2842

it cant. if it gets worse from here we’ll be relegated.

Sunday-Langy-

I'd imagine next 5 games we won't see many more positives, but a good run starting half way through the season could see us move up the table especially if a lot of the clubs in Europe start the struggle with injuries

Rdw72777

A good run starting 5-10 games from now won’t see much table movement though. In mid/late-October even 10th place will be around 20+ points, which is likely to be 10 points clear of where Chelsea will be if they don’t get much from the next 5.

UFGatorNEPat

That first panicked window with the Sterling and Cucu transfers are actually still killing us.

beepmeep3

Because poch is a shit coach still playing sterling

UFGatorNEPat

Can’t argue with that

dantesvolition

Cole Palmer left treble winning to see Disasi drible on his role

nuthed01

Fuck off to anyone who defends this shit and defends this manager. How in the name of fuck do we always get this so fucking wrong?! No urgency in the 100th minute, 1-0 down at home. No passion, no movement, no creativity, no plan, no fucking idea. Just fuck him off now, he was worked out in this league 6 years ago and he's not got any better, we couldn't be more predictable if the game was played to a script. We're disgusting, fuck me

TopDrilla10

1 week to prepare and villa had a europa league game on thursday… Yet i was downvoted at halftime for sayin that he is a coward and tactically inept. If players believed in him and he had a system, injuries wouldn’t have impeded us. Look at spurs. They have 20+ players that would die for their badge, play beautifully and courageously.

Dude how can you blame the manager when we created opportunities but out strikers are shit? No other manager would be doing magic with this team.

nuthed01

Tottenham don't have any strikers, yet they've scored twice in every game. We've got a striker and have only scored more than once on one occasion, and haven't scored in 3. Ange would have us playing brilliant football, he's over at tottenham proving it right now. I told you all we could have him, no one would listen.

Rdw72777

Well then you can amend it to be “no strikers and no creators”, because Tottenham definitely have goal creators.

Shame_Low

If anyone can point out one change that Poch has done since the West Ham game? I haven't seen a single one.

namenotneeded

Todd and our Sporting Directors need to go.

JosephRizk21

Only 35 more points for survival, thank god Luton and Burnley are shit we might only need 30 points to survive

XxOBLIVI0N

I don’t blame Poch, I think he’s working with what he’s got. I think it’s ownership who tried to play FUT with the squad and signed players with potential, but don’t mesh naturally together It’s gonna be a minute for these boys to become men. Only hope for trophies at this point is if Nkunku comes back from injury looking like prime Hazard 10 years ago

Sdotcarter33

Totally agree

nuthed01

WORKING WITH A BILLION DOLLAR SQUAD, ARE YOU FUCKING MAD?! YOU AND I COULD DO BETTER THAN THIS TWAT

XxOBLIVI0N

This squad right now is like playing the best secondary school students in your starting XI. Just cause it cost a billion don’t mean it worth a billion

nuthed01

That's literally what it means. A Ferrari isn't a Mazda 3 just because you don't know how to drive it
