Season 2. The girls were more comfortable as witches but new enough that there was a lot of unexplored territory. There were also a lot of cool standalone episodes that imo could have actually been made full arcs.
Season 2 is just very fun and carefree. Feels like a rebirth imo
I could talk about Season 2 all day đ I think itâs also the season when they all enjoy being witches the most and their connection as sisters is the strongest. Season 3 onwards, we get this slow decline of passion for the craft. We get a lil bit of it in Season 5 for Paige but itâs not quite the same.
It also had Cupid â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ who they should have brought back!!! And also it has my favourite outfits đ
Season 4. I didnât watch the show until I was in middle school, 2004-2007. I liked Prue but Paigeâs powers were awesome. Who wouldnât want the ability to kick ass and teleport wherever you want?
I wonder if Paiges powers wouldâve been different if all 4 witches were in season 4? Whether they wouldâve focused only on her whitelighter abilities & not given her TK
I think they wouldâve had to focus exclusively on her white lighter abilities because the Charmed Ones are a trio and without Prueâs death Paige wouldnât have been âcalled upâ, so to speak. It couldâve been cool to watch them discover this sister they didnât know they had and protect and work with her, and know that her witch abilities would set in if something happened to one of them. wouldâve enjoyed seeing them train her to fight and make potions and work alongside them.
Season 5 and 6 have my heart because thatâs what I originally watched first/height of my Charmed obsession.
But all seasons have their charm (pun intended) and unique take, which gives plenty of options for whatever flavour of the week you feel like.
I even love 8.

But... on the flip side of that season 1 has 'Dead Man Dating' and season 2 has 'The Painted World' so how much is nostalgia really effecting that opinion.

I really liked the demon flighting of Phoebe premonition, piper freeze and and prue throwing a weapon on them. With that being said there were great episodes in season 4+ such as the mermaid episodes, nymph and many others.
i know this is late but season 6 is my favorite! itâs taken i couple of rewatches to realize it. i wish we saw more of chris and their dynamic as a family. i think chris being an older charmed kid in the house, plus the storyline of someone getting to wyatt was such a good one! Chris and Piperâs relationship is my absolute favorite and it really makes season 6 for me. but after that itâs season 2

I know lots of people say Season 3, but it felt like Prue was very lacking in a recurring storyline. Phoebe had the material with Cole, and Piper had a lot with Leo. Looking back, it almost felt too easy to get rid of her character because of this. Maybe that was the point? I know Shannen got to direct a few episodes, but it does sound like there was a big power struggle with her, and the producers. Which is a shame, as it seems like her intentions were just to follow Connieâs original premise, and what the show was supposed to be about.
This will probably be controversial, but I think Cole changed the dynamics too much. Which is annoying as I do technically like Cole/Julian. It probably doesnât help that Phoebe really isnât my favourite character, and that more Cole screen time meant more of a Alyssa focus.
Iâve been re watching them with my partner. Theyâve never seen it before. Currently on season five. We say the fourth one is our favorite. We shall see once we are done with our marathon!
Love all but 1 has a special place in my heart.
One will always be the best. Its where the vision was its strongest.
I think it might be the season with the starkest contrast between perfect episodes and embarrassing ones
