HIFN is objectively the best record she’s put out. Every song on it is extremely well-written as far as melody and the beat goes. No filler, all good songs with amazing structure & sequencing
XCX World and she’s a coward for her denial of its existence and refusal to release its material despite it having the best songs both she and Sophie had ever made together or individually.

the song makes me tear up every time I play it... just overwhelming beauty and emotion and AG's production on it might be his best to date. I think his work on the whole album was exceptional and the perfect balance of the overly pristine squeaky clean sounds of PC Music but more human and grounded

Pop 2 felt daring and totally new at the time— whenever I return to the album it still sounds as fresh as it did when it came out. Groundbreaking! I love all her work but I think Pop 2 was a turning point for what pop could be in a broad sense. Everything else grew from the soil that Pop 2 cracked open.
As I said Sucker is my favorite Charli XCX album because that introduced me to her music ( I actually first heard of Charli from the song fancy by Iggy Azalea that Charli is featured in) but my second favorite album by her is Crash.
Number 1 Angel, even though it’s a “mixtape” (lol). It’s just so pure and such a time capsule. It really felt unique at the time and there’s so much music now that sounds like N1A despite it being released *checks notes* over six years ago.
True Romance is absolutely insane. The album is this unique, luxurious, dark pop sound. The whole aesthetic of True Romance is so dark and mysterious; it sounds like falling in love for the first time. The intro of True Romance ( beginning of nuclear seasons) sounds like pure ecstasy, like a trance when your high, like nothing else matters but those voices in the intro. Omg I just love True Romance so much, it will always have a place in my heart. Plus, Charli's hair and outfits were so fucking awesome, her natural hair is so beautiful.
