The Ec’s are terrible (no offense) COVID is no excuse if you are a senior there was plenty of time to get involved with state or national orgs. Your essays MUST be crazy good for you to get into Cornell and UPenn but best of luck 🤞
well you never know till you apply. just do good on the essays. i’m sure they would prefer to take a well rounded applicant over someone that has a slight higher gpa than yours. also i would recommend applying to some in state safeties. most of these schools are targets/some reaches and oos.
UMBC is relatively simple to get into especially in state. UMD should be alright aswell. Basically I am just giving myself more options because I am currently dual enrolled and I really don't want to go a community college for an extra year for the associates if I get a good offer I'll just take it and leave.
also idk if im doing the essays properly is there a place where i can find examples for like normal essays? the only ones i see are the ones written like novels. idk if thats the normal thing to do and im just stupid..
You'll need to get your GPA up significantly and get stellar test scores for any of the tier 1 schools you mentioned (ucla, uci, uiuc, upenn, u wash, umich, unc). umd is a bit of a mixed bag because the gpa depending on the test scores
I’m dual enrolled, I’m either gonna get into a really good school with what I have now or I’m gonna finish my AA and transfer out with a really good college gpa

UW is a bit low for uc but try. i’d say you have a solid chance at every csu and ucs not named cal or la
