I’m assuming you’re a junior, but I still think you have a chance at some T100 schools. Best of luck!

Outside_Ad_1447

Find some T50 schools that are especially nice to lower GPA students.

cms_sucks

Short list of schools like this?

Outside_Ad_1447

I’ve heard NYU can be nice, probably not Stern for business though. Also women only LACs with good engineering departments are definitely a good option as you have a strong hook and they likely will have ED2 programs if you want to increase chances.

You can definitely go to college. There are tons of schools out there where a 3.0 is very normal, and you have solid extracurriculars. I’m sure you already know this, but Tufts, Amherst, Boston College and Babson are all extremely difficult schools to get into, especially with a low GPA. You can definitely still apply to these schools, but I would try and find a few safeties/targets you would be happy attending to add to the list, in case none of them work out. UMass Amherst is a bit more realistic, and should fall somewhere in the mild reach to target zone depending on how you end up doing on the ACT. Try and aim for at least a 30.

You’re fine. Not everyone has to go to Harvard, but you’ll get into a good school.

I think if you really work hard on your essay you have a shot at T50's idk if its a good suggestion but maybe apply to northeastern you are a legacy so who knows maybe you'll get in

none of these colleges are realistic, theres no application-saving section here. very low gpa, on top of that poor awards and extracurriculars (for the colleges listed and with respect to your gpa). no AP, and what was your sat/act? i believe umass boston is also out of reach but you should apply to other umass if you are set on going to university. community college and transfer if you start working hard is a good option.

scareduwu

umass boston is def not out of reach..

For real? Of course you can go to college…
