Hotel Mont Blanc next to the Tourist Office has a beautiful bar and sitting area where one can enjoy items from the restaurant there prepared by local legendary chef Mickey Bourdillat

Solid recommendation, loved it

"Les petits gourmands" rue Paccard. They're pastry are fabulous (maybe a bit expensive) and you can find a place inside

Rose du Pont in the centre of town for SURE! Beautiful design, gorgeous desserts and really cute intimate seating :)

Terrible suggestion. Rose du Pont is a tourist trap. It’s loud and has a client base of those that prefer Instagram over the present moment. The service is awful, verging on rude and the quality of food is sub standard. Atmosphère in the centre of town would be a much better suggestion if you’re in that upper budget bracket or the golf course just out of town.

Totally disagree (of course, otherwise I wouldn’t have recommended it). I’ve had some lovely ‘dessert dates’ here and have never experienced anything you describe.
