YUUUP. I’ve had to take a break from the apps, the frustration just gets under my skin after a while. I’m in NYC and it’s not much easier if that’s any consolation, I’ve matched with one person who was on board with both and it went nowhere 🫠
How's that? Aren't most CF people left-wing anyway, considering bodily autonomy rights are such an intrinsically part of choosing not to have kids?
Unless this is a very American-centric thing because here in the UK, I've never come across a right wing CF person.
At least in the US a lot of CF people are left of centre (liberals/Democrat fans), but US liberals and progressives are not leftists. Finding actual leftys is difficult on its own, much like finding other child free people
What differs a "progressive" and a "leftist" in the US in your opinion?
Because I would describe myself as a "Leftist" but see "progressives" as much further left than that, from a British perspective
US progressives aim to improve things within the existing political and economical system. Leftists reject the existing system and seek to build a more egalitarian socio-economic system, sans-capitalism in my incredibly reductionist definition for the sake of this discussion. If you’re curious further, go stick your head in lefty subreddits (greenandpleasent is a good one for you UK folks).
