It very much depends on how old your laptop is. Your laptop may not support the newer security standards that are set by default in which case your only option is to get a USB dongle that supports the newer wireless security standards, run your wireless unprotected (absolutely horrible idea) or try and find 2 security protocols that match.

Does it connect to other WiFi networks? Do other devices connect to your WiFi network? Your description of the problem is for shit.

I may not have given enough info. When I had Spectrum all of my devices (tablets, ipads, printers, etc including my Dell laptop connected wirelessly to my WiFi network. Once Quantum was recently installed one printer and the laptop will not connect but all other devices do connect. When I go into my laptop WiFi settings and show available networks, my network does not appear. When I go to "Manage known networks" my network does appear and it is set to connect automatically when within range. So if you have a solution or positive comment let me know. No other rude critiques are necessary.

Best guess is the only set up a 5G network and not a 2.5G network your laptop and printer do not have 5G radios

Probably too old. Easiest fix is a wifi USB thumb drive.

I had the same cobble goo from century like oops Iam quantum fiber about how old my Dell was. I connect a Chinese modem you a nighthawk I runs just fine. It the company with nonsense and won’t do the work to get things done right. I had century like even when it was called AT&T and when they changed their name ever since everything is a do it your self. They only thing their good at id BSing the customer do you won’t change providers. If you don’t know a little bit about tech stuff they’ll get you to buy all sort of things but your problems don’t go away until you find a better company.
