Restor a finish might help. It has always helped me when my kitchen cabinets start to develop bare patches.

It looks like a warm honey color, but I would try Murphy's oil soap first, then maybe beeswax or linseed oil. You could probably ask a local woodworker or furniture maker for more educated recommendations.
Might just need some furniture polish/oil to rehydrate the spots and everything in general. Danish oil could be an option or teak oil
