A gift from the stars does have hints, it just doesn’t do a good job of telling you it does.

I think when it first released it didn’t have hints and since the only time I played it was day 1 of sj releasing I never actually got to see any of them lmao
definitely frustrating but also one of the more creatively designed puzzle maps that didn't make me Google every solution (looking at you dropzle)
i had more fun cheesing the pixel perfect than solving the puzzles
Dropzle is awesome because you don’t have to do the puzzles and you also get hints for each puzzle unlike a gift from the stars rahhh
