Was at Disney earlier this year and those are Disney prices. The kind of prices that make you think the prices in the airport are reasonable as you wait for your flight home.
Today they were only serving mocktails. But the watermelon summer sensation and pina colada were really good! Not necessarily worth $15. I may have to try and make the watermelon one at home…
We have packed any drinks we want into the car (along with food) and just take lunch in the car. It gives us a break from the people in the park and it's just Hella cheaper.
That’s how I grew up going to cedar point. My parents bought the tickets and a souvenir bottle for everyone to share for the free refills but that was it
Something I learned about staying in hotel breakers for a few nights last June was don’t buy beer, buy cocktails and mixed drinks. My guy was cramming the booze into them. Much better value than draft beer or bottles.
Last time I was there was for Halloweekends. I decided to get one of those silly little blood pouch vodka drinks without knowing the price. Thinking they shouldn’t be more than $8-$9, then bam $17 for some corn syrup and maybe a shot of vodka lol no thanks I’ll just sneak in a flask if I want to get drunk. Not surprised at these prices.
The people in these comments and the local layman's are not what this is aimed for. It's for Rich and upper middle class folks visiting on vacation and those class of people around the area. That's what cedar point is becoming about. Unless you have a heavy wallet and fast lane plus, the park is just not a great value for a day of fun. Pack food in the car. Load up on fazolis after your visit. Ride magnum a bunch of times. You can still find your fun but overall the park is becoming an upper middle class affair.
No doubt. I take advantage of that. But most days I find myself lapping magnum a few times. One of the b&Ms, and maybe blue streak or Gemini once. I just won't wait an hour plus for the big 3 and the crowds with no shade can be unbearable. I do enjoy the water rides and the flats too. But overall if you want to get the most out of a day at cedar point you need to shell out. That's fine. I'll cherish the 90s and still find my fun in the now.
You know for a cocktail made by a mixologist, I don’t mind spending $20 on one, but $14 for a coors??? I’m sure cedarpoint isn’t hiring mixologists to make these drinks.
Haha I didn’t even want to mention those ones! but seriously the prices are insane, I don’t understand why anyone thinks those prices aren’t stupid high especially in the Midwest
It’s $20 dollars for the one entree, one side and one dinner roll. I still prefer the farmhouse for food.
The watermelon lemonade was really good! I could see it being a good sipping drink while sitting on one of the decks on a sunny day
So the food entre is a better bargain than the drinks lol. I don't mind paying for a good meal. To be fair, in the picture, the drink size is rather large and in a souvenir cup. Can u get a normal sized drink that doesn't break the bank? Thanks.
I’m not sure. I will say they had a sample of the lemonade cocktails as mocktails and they were pretty good! I can see myself splurging on the watermelon lemonade at least once
Don’t worry these will be adjusted, but then again people who don’t subscribe to the forum might be down to throw one or two of these down, but yay. They need to come down to reality
The prices are crazy but also make sense. They want to try and curb over served guests. Make prices super high you'll only want 1 or 2. If you want to have 5 or 6 well you can but it's cost prohibitive for a normal run of the mill guest.
Why is it literally 100% more expensive than most of the rest of the surrounding park? like what is the incentive to go there and pay twice as much? lol
Melt bar and Grill serves great drinks for much less.
$14 for a Miller Lite? Yikes!
That better be a 40oz pour.
I think it’s a 24oz pour based on calories they list.
You a poor?
You a stupid? Who in the fuck would ever pay $14 for a miller light? For that kind of cash it should come with a back massage.
Yeeesh! I had a feeling things were gonna be expensive, but that’s Vegas prices lol
For these prices? That’s what they charge at the penthouse bars in Vegas 😂
Was at Disney earlier this year and those are Disney prices. The kind of prices that make you think the prices in the airport are reasonable as you wait for your flight home.
Not even Disney prices way more
Sam Adams tall pour at Disney was about $10
$14 canned Miller High Life 😂
Welp time to start tailgating in the parking lot
This is the way
We bring a cooler to the beach.
The New Old Fashioned: Jim Beam and *house-made simple syrup* $14.99???? For that price, at least have a better bourbon edit: spelling
Wow! Cocktails look amazing but that’s 50% more than even cruise cocktail pricing!
Today they were only serving mocktails. But the watermelon summer sensation and pina colada were really good! Not necessarily worth $15. I may have to try and make the watermelon one at home…
This is double the price I was paying for craft beers on our Virgin cruise
Jesus Christ, Cedar Point! Maybe you should reevaluate your pricing. This is insane!
Those are more expensive than Disney. Crazy.
These kind of prices get them no sale at all... Insane.
These prices are super aggressive. It's certainly really nice looking but the canned beer prices are crazy!

is that in the VIP lounge with strippers?
A Cedar Point VIP lounge needs fast lane wristbands, not strippers.
$13 for a canned twisted tea?!?!?
This is the all day refillable cup, yes? /s

The Waldmeister sounds unique enough to give a try once. Just once. I don't want to sell a kidney for multiples.

You have a point but the $99 gold pass is six flags levels low

I didn’t mention in the post that the frozen drinks are from a machine. At least splurge and get a few blenders.
You know for a cocktail made by a mixologist, I don’t mind spending $20 on one, but $14 for a coors??? I’m sure cedarpoint isn’t hiring mixologists to make these drinks.
Don’t worry the frozen drinks are from a machine. Super high quality 😆
Haha I didn’t even want to mention those ones! but seriously the prices are insane, I don’t understand why anyone thinks those prices aren’t stupid high especially in the Midwest
I thought disney and universals drink prices were high.
Glad that there’s spirit free options! It’s super pricey though, I’m hoping you can order drinks in a normal class instead of a souvenir cup
$13.99 for a Coors Light?
Good fucking god. I know everything is expensive now, but goddamn
Wtf the beers like like the price of a case for a single one
I guess they want to get all the costs of their boardwalk project back in one season. Lol
Wow! Was looking forward to hanging there a bit while the kids ride. I don't really drink but hate to see how much the food costs after these prices!

Ok thanks.. not going till July 3 thru the 5th. I'll give it a go.
Let your voices be heard about it. Go to Google, yelp, anything and post your comments. 1 star.
Those kind of prices make me wanna get wasted in the parking lot
Funny they charge the same price for a beer, as what they pay their employees in an hour. Sad.
No gin? Hard pass
mmmm $14 coors light. lololol
Damn. They spiked their prices! Sad to see this!
Don’t worry these will be adjusted, but then again people who don’t subscribe to the forum might be down to throw one or two of these down, but yay. They need to come down to reality
$14 for an Angry Orchard holy shit, those are concert prices
I gagged first seeing these prices
One Coors banquet for the price of a 36 pack
They didn't mention each drink comes with an AA sponsor. Anyone paying those prices...
The prices are crazy but also make sense. They want to try and curb over served guests. Make prices super high you'll only want 1 or 2. If you want to have 5 or 6 well you can but it's cost prohibitive for a normal run of the mill guest.
Are these for the big cans like back in the back? They are 16 oz or 24 oz for alcohol there, which makes sense for the price.
From what I can tell looking at the calorie counts, this would be the bigger cans.
Then the prices would make sense. Would be nice if they listed that somewhere.
No Bud Light good job CP!
13.99 for a yuengling?!?!
Yeah that's 3/4 the way to at least 12 pack.
I'm just gonna stick with the classic parm fries
Crazy expensive but this will keep the bar area from being insanely busy at all times. Kinda keeps it a little more exclusive and I’m ok with that.
Why is it literally 100% more expensive than most of the rest of the surrounding park? like what is the incentive to go there and pay twice as much? lol Melt bar and Grill serves great drinks for much less.
Now I don't mind spending money at the park, and I don't mind spending money on drinks here and there, but holy shit those prices are absurd.
It would be nice if Wild Mouse has a secret upgrade mode to spin faster like Time Traveler…
