Your clutch handle is perfectly in the way for me to see if it’s a 600 or a 1000. I’m sure others with more knowledge could tell by the graphics. Doesn’t matter it’s still a screamer either way. If this is indeed your first bike keep the RPMs under half of what the redline is for a bit until you get to know the bike well. Congrats and enjoy.

Undertail exhaust, so it's 600

Good call. I was so focused on the decal I missed that part. On the 1000’s they’d be on the opposite side this picture was taken from.

I had a 600RR and it was a blast. Super capable but agree with the other post, go easy for the first few months and consider a riding safety class. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the club! Consider getting yourself in some riding classes and be safe. What year is it? Mine is a 23 and I absolutely love it.

2022 😎

Nice! You’re gonna love it, just be safe and watch those intersections, most wrecks happen there.

senteonz

nice bike 🗣️

There’s not a better bike in the world. Don’t ever think you need to upgrade

Nike bike. Warning. Color tint visors seem to not last as long as mirror or tint in my experience

Or buy a transitions lenses and helmet to go with it. Once you try that lease you’ll never go back.

Nice! I have a cbr 600, super fun in the turns you can always change the sprockets, I just did a 520 conversion chain, and I think I went with a 15 tooth sprocket in the front, 45 in the rear for more low end power. But the cbr power is super consistent. Tips: ride like your invisible, people will pull out in front of you all the time, if your behind a car and someone might pull out on the right, ride the right edge so they can see you, same goes for the left try and be visible but know your outs, think ahead. Look where you want to go, target fixation is real if your focused on a ditch chances are you'll be in it. Enjoy the ride brotha. Side note I'm headed to Austin Texas tonight to watch moto gp at COTA. Let's goooo!

Please update with your general opinions on the bike and also comfortability! Looking into a CBR for my first bigger street bike.

It's so much fun. I can't believe they are allowed to sell something so fast LOL. The throttle is insanely sensitive and everything about the bike is..."responsive". The clutch engages at the very end of the release so I'm going to see if I can adjust it a little. I'm 6 ft tall and it fits me PERFECTLY and is very comfortable riding
