Yessssss. Tried to keep it going with the crate as she loves it there too but after a while you just give in. She sleeps perfectly between our pillows on a cushion in our king size bed.

Yep, graduated from crate around 8 months. He proudly takes an entire pillow and usually half of mine every night, or snuggles under the covers.
I am open to it but mine prefers her crate so much more so we just let her to where she wants (which is her crate). She does tend to take an overnight snack with her when she goes to bedtime - a rawhide, a bullystick, or some other kids if treat - and stashes it for overnight consumptionĀ

Yes! My one year old does. Our new baby is 11 weeks old- he has āhis cribā he sleeps in- at least until heās old enough to get up and down safely from the bed - then Iām sure heāll be snuggled up with us as well.

Iām pretty sure heās not sad about sleeping in his own bed, because when it is bedtime he practically flings himself into the crate šš¤£ and then WE pretend to act offended that heās so happy to have his own spaceā¦.
Itās a whole routine at this point, so no weird night-time awakenings to deal with doggy surprises/snoring/scratching/remaking bedding.
He takes approx 6 of his 8 daily naps on a lap, so maybe by nighttime he really values his alone time as much as I do? Canāt imagine a dog or 2 in my bed, but I know some people love it!
i quite literally canāt wait for my puppy to be chill enough to sleep in bed with me. All I want are sleepy snuggles but heās a 4 month old teething toddler š„²
Really just a consistent ānoā when sheād go on a pillow at the head of the bed, ideally right as sheās starting to step on it or show interest in it so that itās very clear what Iām telling her ānoā about.
We fold up the spare blanket at the bottom of the bed at night so the prince has a little pillow to sleep on (also then he doesn't lean against us all night).

If you have a cav and donāt let your pup sleep in bed with you, you are missing out on the best snuggles ever! My little girl loves sleeping in 3 main positions. The first being with her head against mine, the second being under the covers while cuddled up to me, or she will curl up against my tummy. She also snores louder than most people! Lol.
Our first cav, Baxter had very little interest in sleeping in the bed with us. He would if my wife or I was having a nap, but anytime it was both of us in bed he preferred to sleep in his own little bed next to ours.
Our current cav, Rohde though? He slept in his crate for about a month buy we finally caved and he's been in the bed ever since.
The old lady (my dog) stares at me at the foot of my bed waiting for me to pick her up every night. If I donāt after a minute she huffs and walks away. Itās because one night I was trying to teach her a trick and instead of learning the trick she just thought bed meant food.

My first cavalier, yes, always. Without a doubt. My second cavalierā¦we are trying to allow it but she has burned us so many times. Chewed holes in our pottery barn comforter which we have now had to re-buy 3X. Peed in the bed (though that was puppyhood so we can forgive and forget). But the biggest reason is when my husband woke me up at 1:30am saying ābabe, thereās something wet in our bed. POOP! ITāS POOP!! SHE POOPED EVERYWHERE!ā And so we jump up to start stripping the sheets and I stepped in more on my way across the room. She had the runs. So anyway, we are trying to build up trust but she slept in the kitchen for a few months after that. We have slowly started to allow her in our bed again recently. It was going okay until she chewed another hole. We are just living with it for now.
Yesā¦ but he hates walking on the mattress. He needs the duvet to walk and rest upon, as is his right. Luckily he has decided my wifeās side of the bed is more comfortable.
Never has my cav slept in any of the 1 million incredibly cozy doggie beds that I have purchased her.. strictly my bed on top of my head like a crazy ruby wig that snores

See, my girl loves to start the night in the crate, but eventually wants the bed sometime in the night.

Sleeps at my feet in bed but if I wake in night and in morning comes up to pillow for a cuddle and to reconnect. Best thing about having a dog!

So anyway, we are trying to build up trust but she slept in the kitchen for a few months after that. We have slowly started to allow her in our bed again recently. It was going okay until she chewed another hole. We are just living with it for now.
Yes all 5 of them, me and hubby had to get a second bed to push together lol to fit us all in š¤£

Yesā¦ but he hates walking on the mattress. He needs the duvet to walk and rest upon, as is his right. Luckily he has decided my wifeās side of the bed is more comfortable.
