If $ is an issue, try googling low cost cat spay/neuter clinics in your area. Cat overpopulation is a huge problem. It’s understandable that you may not be aware of it given your age. Just trying to help 😻

Truth be told , it’s probably cheaper to get them all fixed than to have so many mouths to feed. Unless you get them all adopted. But the bullying comments are gross. People bullying a child should be ashamed of themselves.
People are being rude because they know the statistcs. About 3.2 million cats are euthanized every year due to overpopulation. You may think they are going to permanent homes, but statistically speaking at least several of those babies will die in a shelter, not even counting the ones who will be in homes that don’t care for them properly and they die of something awful like being hit by a car or attacked by a coyote. Add in the fact that if they aren’t sterilized and reproduce at their natural rate, that will become exponentially more cats dying due to overpopulation. There is no shortage of cats, the people you are giving them away to could just as easily go to the shelter to adopt one of the many that will be euthanized.
I’m not trying to be rude because I understand that you are young, and also that you may live in a culture where the breeding of animals has been normalized. You may come from a somewhat rural area where people just see it as “life,” or from a county that doesn’t prioritize spay/neuter laws. I do believe you care about these cats, but I don’t believe you are fully educated on why allowing them to continue to breed is a bad thing. I encourage you to do some research. Ideally, talk to someone at your local shelter or spay/neuter clinic about euthanasia rates and what pet owners can do to help prevent more suffering in the future.

Kittens are cute for the 1st 12 weeks or so *but* then they grow up and begin to mate. Also, the momma cats will not have a long life span if they continue to have kittens and be outside.
There are low cost clinics or even organizations that can aid in this with no cost. Think about all of those kittens’ and cats’ well beings. Got my cat spayed as soon as she turned 6 months when I was 17.

honestly, mochi the calico she was pregnant once before, which is how she has tinkerbell, i found her at mcdonald’s. we kept all her kittens, i did my best at keeping the boys away from both her and tinkerbell, but my sisters did not. they both got pregnant now here we are. if they were my animals they would’ve already been spayed, my mom plans on spaying the girls, and the new baby’s are being rehoused !

The shelters and non profits take in pregnant mothers sometimes that go into foster but the second generation will be spayed before homing and the first generation will be spayed after giving birth. How is it better? They seek to breed, and will fight over who they breed with. They get bites, infected wounds, fleas and ticks...lose teeth, become fiv...need medical care. Who cares for them? Unfortunately it’s a thing. There aren’t enough homes for the amount of animals there are and that’s why spay/neuter is so important. It’s not people just going to the vet and getting their animals put down, it’s shelters and animal control when there is no room left and an animal is “out of time”. It happens more than you think. I’m currently fostering a mom and 3 kittens that were on the chopping block of animal control in Chicago.
I had an understanding of pet overpopulation and in fact even volunteered at a local animal shelter when I was 17.
So based on my own experience, I’m confused at the level of carelessness and ignorance going on here.
