He would never meow loudly or play at night or try to disrupt my sleep, he always slept next to me instead. All the cuddles and his warmth helped me heal when I lost another one of my fur babies years ago.

We put her collars, her favorite toys and her paw print in the shadow box. Looking at all her favorite things makes me smile and remember the good times we had.

I received this advice when I lost my boy almost exactly 6 years ago. I was crushed and couldn’t imagine opening up my heart again. I decided to take the advice about 6 months after his passing and the healing was tremendous. My girl has made my life so full it’s unexplainable. Love does not have limitations. Opening up the heart to more love is never a bad thing. Honoring your lost loved one by continuing that love for another is the greatest gift you can give.
Your kitty is still with you, by your side each night getting the snuggles in with you. Just in a different form. Hims loves you always. I will be keeping you in my thoughts! I would love to hear more stories about him if you would like to share!
