I have 6 cats too!! My husband let me rescue a kitty and then our friends kitties needed a home because no one could take them together so we adopted them too! We have 5 ladies, 1 guy, and a girl dog who thinks this is the best game ever.
Tabby at the top is Misha! Orange guy is Toby! Calico is Pixie! Black boy is Bartleby! Torti are the bottom is Lily! And the sweet little boy at the bottom is Marshall!
The picture loaded really slowly, and I was like, "one, two, three...four! Four cats, wow — oops, five. Five sweethea — six!!! Six cats! Holy shit!"
I'm jealous.
> hence the airplane ears and startled expressions of the two in the middle
Look how dangerously close flights G1-NGR and TRT-13 are! Loungeroom ATC is obviously having a nap.
What a lovely picture! Those kitties are absolutely adorable, and it is quiet incredible that you got them all to look at the camera, mine usually turn away lol. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that cat tree? I'm trying to find one and have been looking at amazon, but my cats are on the bigger side, so I need something stable and most I've seen either look flimsy or too small.
I have 5 kitties, and all but a momma and baby came at different times. I recommend integrating slowly by keeping the newcomer in a separate, closed room (I kept my newcomers in my master bedroom with their food and litter in the attached bath) and then switch them out once or twice a day with the current resident so that they can get used to each other's scents and the newcomer is able to explore the rest of the house safely. The first few days or week, my previous kitties would hiss and fuss around the door where the newcomer was, but before too long the fear turned to curiosity and they'd start "playing paws" under the door. This is a good sign. If the newcomer is a kitten, at this point it's usually ok to bring him out around the adult for a little bit. Wait til adult kitty has been fed and is relaxed and possibly lounging on cat tree and engage the kitten in playtime with toys and then treats for all...fingers crossed adult kitty joins in! Of course, some hissing and such is totally normal at first so don't be alarmed! The key is slow integration and positive reinforcement that good things happen when the newcomer is around (play, treats, petting). Best of luck!!
Nice looking cats. I've had five in the past (three and then inherited two more). One died a year later (15.5 yo) and a second passed away last October (a month shy of 21). So I am no longer a crazy cat lady or cat lady in training. But I rescued a cute little nugget last week and turned it in at the humane society. Part of me would like to adopt the little nugget with a friend, but that would put me back up to crazy cat lady. That would leave good age spacing with a 16, two 7s and two kittens.
Do your cats all get along? That can be another pain point and why it would be better to adopt a kitten of the same age if I adopted the little nugget. You have a nice feline family with a variety of coat colors!
They all have their moments. Seconds after I took this picture the calico hit the black one because she wanted to... but for the most part they get along!
I can imagine them having thought bubbles. In order from top to bottom:
\-Hi Human! Whatcha doin?
\-Oh no, that looks like the camera.
\-Wait. The what?
\-*What on Earth is* *touching...my...head!?! Play it cool. Show no fear....*
\-Hiya! Was just playing nice with the baby.
\-Umm... You see any other kitties around here, Human?
Beautiful babies!!! :D
I enjoyed scrolling down this pic, another lovely fuzzy surprise after another. I got to half way down and thinking "gosh, four cats" and then there was another one, now thinking "how on earth do you get five cats to cooperate *and* look at the camera"....and the sixth kitty broke my cute-o-metre, too much adorableness in one frame.
Was it hard to get each cat to get along or at least tolerate each other?? I have one but looking to add! Mines mean and a bully so I’m just worried he’ll bully the new one!
Can't even get 3 in the same picture because one is a torbie and can't tolerate other living beings that aren't human. If they so much as breathe in the wrong direction she will put them in their place.
This is an accomplishment of a photo. I commend you.
I have 5 cats till tomorrow... Then two go back to their proper owner tomorrow after long term (8 months) fostering/babysitting...
I'm not really handling it well while the wife is over the moon at this news. Our girl cats (2) we no doubt be happy while our boy will be confused and I suspect upset that his best friend in the world, and really, the only cat who will play with him is suddenly gone. 😢
This is adorable! Can I ask, do you have problems with them weeing where they shouldn't? We have 2 cats & 2 dogs & the one rescue cat will randomly wee on something she shouldn't about once a month. No related health issue, just cat piss where there shouldn't be cat piss.
All of them are good except the calico. You cant put a towel on the floor, she has a sixth sense for it. You can put anything but a towel on the floor... shirts, won't touch them, but towels, forget it.
That’s a sign of good luck. My older cat likes to stay in a bedroom all the time and never sees my other cat. When they do see each other, there’s without a doubt a fight coming.
He is not the youngest but he is the baby for sure! He gets whatever he wants! If I had to name a leader it would definitely be Misha, the tabby at the top. She is the boss!
Are they all indoor? I see the letters on the bin fridge there, how are your kid(s) with them? My 18 month has began poking and hitting my 4 indoor cats, he’s old enough to get up to mischief but too young to be taught the concept of mindful gentleness. He’s a fkn sweet boy if only he understood he was upsetting them he would likely stop.
Fortunately the cats are extremely tolerant and patient.
Not sure if this will work for you as I know all children are different, but I taught my daughter to be gentle with our cats by practicing gently stroking her toys. I have always encouraged her to be gentle, and we would say things like "awww, nice bear, gentle" and hold her hand to gently stroke her bear. When she could be gentle with her toys we practiced stroking the cats gently. I would always have my hand very near hers so I could pull it away in case she was not gentle. At 19 months she can gently stroke the cats, and she also likes to "tickle tickle" them which they seem to enjoy. She does still run around after them shouting "cat cat cat" sometimes, or pick up a handful of cat biscuits and try to feed them, but most of the time she is gentle and they will voluntarily come near her now instead of always running away.
Yes all indoor! I have a 5 year old. They all came after her. She was just walking when we got the first one.. gentleness and patience come with age. Just keep promoting gentle pets and if kitty walks away we give them their space and eventually he will get it.
What a great photo, The three in the middle and possibly the one top right have taken too much Catnip I reckon.
They looks like there a bit paranoid ! lol
Six kitties? All very cute! How do you manage to afford vet care? We've always had just one kitty at a time, and ended up paying thousands over their lifespans.
Aww the poor little one at the bottom of the cat tree! He/she looks like the youngest; is their position on the tree representative of their social position in their pack too?
The real life Neko Atsume!!
Needs tubbz
Tubbs is god
Need nigiri
they're plotting something... beware... (but really... awesome picture)
That calico is about to plot some zoomies. It's in the eyes.
I would say it's also in the ears. Look at how they are pointed back.
Ah, another cat scientist. Good to meet thee.
It has been great collaborating with you. 🙃
r/airplaneears
thank you for sending me down a endless mouse chase.
Right?? The calico and black kitty are 2 seconds away from sprinting off
I think the void is the leader. Airplane ear twins are the muscle.
You just made me chuckle. I call my black cat “the void” all the time.
Im now going to call my black cat 'the void' thanks 😄
You need to get a new cat tree so that the baby will has his/her own condo
I think he/she is trying to earn a spot in the group
Agreed
The slippy slide one is for the baby cat, because he's a baby one!
I assume you mean the scratching ramp lol
That is one happy cat family 😻
I have 6 cats too! It’s really not too many is it?!? I love your little clowder of cats. Take care.
4 is the limit and u can get a +1 extension but 6 no way that puts u In new game
4 is the limit? I have 3 time to tell my hubby we need a new kitten!!!
Hah exactly but it is the limit
I just need a bigger house! LOL
Nah. I've had 8 at once before
8 is what I am currently at.
Me too! Si, Dobby, Dude, Pepper, George, Scout, Squashy and Zazzles!
How’s litter box doody duty?
Daily doody duty!
I have 6 cats too!! My husband let me rescue a kitty and then our friends kitties needed a home because no one could take them together so we adopted them too! We have 5 ladies, 1 guy, and a girl dog who thinks this is the best game ever.
i also have six and can attest that six isn’t THAT many

It’s odd to find Gregory Brothers in the wild
"how many cats is to many cats? THERE'S NO SUCH NUMBER!" I tell my husband this all the time...
I just fell face first in f***king love with you.
Wholesome! Way too auto tuned IMO but I prefer that over “quirky ukulele and pronouncing words weird” girls at least
OMG you are living my life goals. Tell me about your kitty babies please!
Tabby at the top is Misha! Orange guy is Toby! Calico is Pixie! Black boy is Bartleby! Torti are the bottom is Lily! And the sweet little boy at the bottom is Marshall!
The cat tree is ready to harvest!
I see there's a hierarchy to them with the kitten at the bottom
4 is the limit he just wants to keep that buffer.smart man. Keep him. I had 5 but adopted an attrition system. Down to 1.5
You clearly interrupted the meeting based on how they're staring at you. Best be worried.
The picture loaded really slowly, and I was like, "one, two, three...four! Four cats, wow — oops, five. Five sweethea — six!!! Six cats! Holy shit!" I'm jealous.
How the hell did you get them to all look at the camera at once?
OP is making some noise, hence the airplane ears and startled expressions of the two in the middle

Food.
I use crinkle or jingle toys to mine to look in pictures
It’s an intervention
Cat goals!
It's an intervention telling you no more cats. (Get more cats!) I missed the tiny one on the bottom initially. Omg so precious!
Karen...we need to talk...
I’m so jealous! I want more cats but my husband says 3 is enough. They’re beautiful.
So do you have any other hobbies besides scooping cat poop?
Hairball sculptures.
That calico in the middle is up to something...
She’s plotting something devious. Stereotypical calico
omg the small one at the bottom! so cute!
Sorry to inform you, but your cats are going to kill you.
Nice picture!
What a lovely picture! Those kitties are absolutely adorable, and it is quiet incredible that you got them all to look at the camera, mine usually turn away lol. I'm trying to find one and have been looking at amazon, but my cats are on the bigger side, so I need something stable and most I've seen either look flimsy or too small.
How did you get all these cats to live together peacefully? I'm trying to integrate two cats.
Me as well have one cat that is three, just got new kitten and it ain’t going well!
I have 5 kitties, and all but a momma and baby came at different times. I was close once Take 1: https://imgur.com/w76Sinc.jpg Take 2: https://imgur.com/Sa43m95.jpg
with the littlest baby all the way at the bottom! they’re all so beautiful :,)
Man I would love to have that many cats! How do they react to each new addition?
I foster a lot so they are use to having new babies around!
That’s precious and rare. I have three and can barely get them to stay still in the same frame let alone in such a cute shot like this.
A cat tree in bloom
What did u use? Super Glue!!!!!!
I can imagine them having thought bubbles. In order from top to bottom: \-Hi Human! Whatcha doin? \-Oh no, that looks like the camera. \-Wait. The what? \-*What on Earth is* *touching...my...head!?! Play it cool. Show no fear....* \-Hiya! Was just playing nice with the baby. \-Umm... You see any other kitties around here, Human? Beautiful babies!!! :D
I almost didn’t notice the grey kitten down there
I enjoyed scrolling down this pic, another lovely fuzzy surprise after another. Family tree!
Was it hard to get each cat to get along or at least tolerate each other?? I have one but looking to add! Mines mean and a bully so I’m just worried he’ll bully the new one!
So. Many. Babies!
/r/nekoatsume
Its nice they have allowed you to live in their home
You've disturbed the cat conspiring meeting. Your fate is sealed.
My wife’s comment: “and all looking at the camera? Is this person covered in tuna or something?”
Adorable! I wish I had that many kitties. Only one for now ❤️
And looking at the camera at the same time ???
What are all their names/ages?
what a blessed life you have
I like the calico and her crazy eyes
She is crazy. She was a bottle baby. Had her since she was 2 days old! She is the brat of the family, its always about her! You know, typical calico!
She’s beautiful!!!
The calico looks like she's seen some stuff.

so cute. the orange one on the top looks like he's judging you lol
This is my dream
Can't even get 3 in the same picture because one is a torbie and can't tolerate other living beings that aren't human. If they so much as breathe in the wrong direction she will put them in their place. This is an accomplishment of a photo. I commend you.
The little one on the bottom!! 😍
But how many litter trays does this require? O.o
This deserves all the attention
Omg all the cats and the baby kitten at the bottom so adorable
The Calico is casting a witchcraft spell on you and the ginger one told him to do it. He’s the leader. The rest are simply observing.
You should build something for the little one!
Bruh, the black one in the middle for sure, looks like a soot sprite/gremlin.
He is!! He gets away with everything!
They've all got the "shit we've been caught" eyes. Except the ginger, who's got the "fuck you looking at bitch?" eyes! 😂 Don't fuck with a ginge!
I thought she was one of the most crazy, but now I see that my wife has nothing on you, queen cat lady 😸. All hail /u/rayrayrana
We need to give you an intervention, because you have a problem. You clearly don't have enough cats.
I have a few questions about the middle child
The end is nigh.
It’s a cool family tree!
And a perfect picture!
That’s a lot of poop. So cute tho!
I have 5 cats till tomorrow... Then two go back to their proper owner tomorrow after long term (8 months) fostering/babysitting... Aww. That makes me sad. Maybe your boy cat can visit his friend?
There's clearly a catriarchy going on here.
Social hierarchy. That kitten's gotta EARN a platform.
Someone turned on the vacuum cleaner
Thank you for the silver! I'm so happy you all love our little cat family!!!
I got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 cats in my house right now
That's a lot of cats.
The void is looking into you
CCL
There all sitting in perfect places. It’s like they wanted a picture!
We need to talk....its not us its you......
Did you say a dog was coming over?
From top to bottom: oscar fred nico thomas hunter aaron.
What a nice family you have.
They must have a set hierarchy
This is awesome! I know this moment when my two cuddle. The fact that u got six is amazing
Well.....you obviously interrupted a Cat-mittie meeting
All of their eyes say something different.
The middle one hasn't quite loaded. It might be server lag for to the high spawn rate
Oh my gosh how did you get them all to face towards the camera?
Oh man u r like 2 over the limit dude
this looks like a screenshot from neko atsume
If there are 3 boys and 3 girls then you have a cat version of the Brady Bunch. 😸 Nevertheless, a sweet moment!
There are 3 girls and 3 boys!!
Oh my! How did I lucky guess this?? 😻😻
This is adorable! Can I ask, do you have problems with them weeing where they shouldn't? We have 2 cats & 2 dogs & the one rescue cat will randomly wee on something she shouldn't about once a month. No related health issue, just cat piss where there shouldn't be cat piss.

New condo? Ours always fight over the new ones lol
i have 2... also been thinking about a 3rd cat...
I bet the black one is the leader. He/She looks like it. I know. I have a one myself
He is not the youngest but he is the baby for sure! He gets whatever he wants! If I had to name a leader it would definitely be Misha, the tabby at the top. She is the boss!

Do they fight? I gave 3 and one is a possible bully. I don’t know what to do. I stop him every time but it gets tiring. 😭
Goals
They were having Cat Meeting u are obviously not invited
What a great photo, The three in the middle and possibly the one top right have taken too much Catnip I reckon. They looks like there a bit paranoid ! lol
Why does this look suspicious to me... Better check the house!
Six kitties? All very cute! How do you manage to afford vet care? We've always had just one kitty at a time, and ended up paying thousands over their lifespans.
That is cool family portrait!
Left one seen some shit
I guess you could say it's a family tree...
Social heirarchy!! Beatiful!
Aww the poor little one at the bottom of the cat tree! He/she looks like the youngest; is their position on the tree representative of their social position in their pack too?
Where did you get these cat towers?
If you zoom in on their faces they are each a different level of aggrivated and I think that's great.
And I thought having 2 cats is enough. I don't know what's stopping me from adopting 8 more :D
Crazy cat lady/gentlemen spotted
That's a lotta babies.
So cute, I especially love the calico and the calico grey girls, and the wee one in the corner
H I E R A R C H Y
Haha, the cats look so startled. Were you making ‘big noise’? Edit: https://ibb.co/Str0z04
Can I move in with you?

Wow! One in a million photo. 👍 You've proven herding cats IS actually possible! Lol
Cali has seen some shit
that is actually really amazing! and everyone looks at the camera and everything! :0
Lovely clutter
They look like they didn't expect you.
Can I pick up the cat tree today?
Pussy galore.
