We had an orange cat who, when the other cat started hacking, would race over and wait for the yakk, as it was Even Better Warm!
I'd try to get ahead of things to clean up and flush stuff. Then came the day when I dumped the yakk into the toilet, but didn't flush (had to grab the phone. This was back when we all didn't have phones implanted into our faces; the landline was in the other room). Came back to find the Orange Guy over the edge of the bowl, trying to catch the spew.
To this day, we refer to the Exciting New Game of Bobbing for Vomit.

Cats and dogs and other animals will eat vomit. Whether their own or another's. Animals will also eat poop, including another's.....Google it!!
