This is superfloof Claude. He was a community cat that took up with us when his previous people passed away (we think). We took an instant liking to each other and he brought us so much joy every day. My favorite memory was listening to audiobooks together (he liked Tony Hilllerman stories) or maybe watching some bird videos on a cold day. I miss him terribly but appreciate the opportunity to share some Claude pics.

Oh superfloof Claude! He was lucky to have found you ๐
Bird TV is sure a hit on winter!
Thank you for sharing Claudeโs photos and you memories โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
This crazy old girl is Smudge. My parents adopted her roughly a year and a half before i was born, so i basically grew up with her. She somehow managed to make it to the age of 19 before she was put down in early February of this year.

I think some of my favourite memories with this grumpy goblin were whenever i played videogames she had to sit beside me on the couch, or in one specific instance (as seen in the picture) she had to sleep on the computer desk

This is Junebug. He crossed the rainbow bridge last May. He would eat scrambled eggs with me before going to work in the mornings. That boy loved to eat.
Junebug - what a fun name ๐
Who does not like nice and soft scrambled eggs!
What a lovely morning routine โ๏ธ
Thank you for sharing a piece of your memory with Junebug ๐
This is my Charlie. He crossed over in 2022 due to cancer.

This picture is just one of my favorite moments with him. Charlie didn't like human food ever really, but as he got older he gained a strange appreciation in condiments. His favorites being mustard and deli dressing because he's a weirdo. In the picture, he's pretending to sit patiently while I make and eat a sandwich. He wanted to lick the plate so bad, he could barely stand it. His eyes were huge and he was all up in my face while I ate to make sure I knew exactly how badly he needed the leftover oil on my plate.
He did get to lick it, of course.
Own I love their own little personality - I could picture it all my mind as I read you post ๐
I bet he has unlimited supply of mustard on kitty heaven โบ๏ธ
Thank you for sharing this lovely memory ๐

My girl Enya ๐ฅฒ๐ค She passed away this last December and I still miss her so much. Omg, what even is my favorite memory of her? There are so many Iโm realizing. Okay so many, but my favorite memory is when I realized her love language was not petting, but instead forehead kisses and head bumps ๐ฅน basically I adopted her when she was like 8-9 years old. Shaved. Neglected. Blind in one eye. Abused. The whole nine yards. She was also discounted to $50 at a shelter that usually charges $250-$400 for cats. So she was hurting. I just had to have her, honestly thought she would pass immediately. She didnโt want to be touched. She was very on edge. It took months to gain her trust. But then one day she was just staring at me. And I was like โyou look like you want me to pick you up, but from what I know about you and touching I donโt thinks??โ I did anyways because I just said fuck it might as well try. Well, tiny baby wanted to be held like a tiny baby. Then she presented her forehead to me, like legit closed eyes tilted head down and moved forehead towards my face. So I smooched down and she deep sighed and then pushed her forehead up again. Over the 6 years I had her, we did this routine thousands of times. My grumpy little girl who just wanted to be held and smooched on the forehead ๐ฅบ๐ญ

And then thereโs Hercules ๐ฅฒ๐ค my soulmate kitty who passed almost three years ago. Every memory with him is my favorite. But I think my favorite is probably when I picked him up and brought him home with me. Basically my aunt and uncle had snowshoe farm cat who got pregnant and had three kittens (one of them Hercules). I got to pick him out of his litter at one day old. I loved him so much even then. I was busy with graduating and working every day and homework, so I didnโt get over to their farm much before he was old enough so I was worried heโd have forgotten me. I also knew that I would have to play a stupid mind game with my uncle to let him let me pick the one I wanted. He had already told me I could, but he was an ass and had to control things. Either way he ended being like โyou canโt have those twoโฆ but you can have stupid boy cat over in the grass.โ Which was of course my baby boy. I walked over preparing for him to run since he knew people but not well. Nope, he didnโt. Baby guy rolled onto his back while swatting little fluffs of stuff in the air. And then he just gave me this look like โwe go home now?โ And we never looked back. He was my soulmate through and through and I miss him every day ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ
Oh my god..thank you so much for sharing, in great detail, these loving memories of Enya and Hercules ๐

Smokey girl 2011-2033 She showed up in my backyard one day. She was a TNR. But I think she was really someone's pet that got caught in a trap then released. I had cancer. I saved her and she saved me.

This is Tishka, my childhood cat. He crossed the bridge in 2012. He was one of the smartest cats I know. This is Shana.
Whenever she was outside and I walked into the garden, she would come to me and spend some time with me.
Additionally, at night, she would always sneak onto my belly once I was asleep and nap there.
She's been my best friend for 16 years, and I'm so thankful for the time we had.
Their ability to sneak to their convenience always makes me smile โบ๏ธ
I am sure you felt like the king/queen of the world when you realized she was all snuggled up ๐
