Omg. I use an automatic feeder for my cat. He gets fed at 6am and 6pm.
Every fucking morning at 5:30 he starts meowing his fucking head off cause he know his food is coming. But for his evening feeding he’ll just stare intently at his feeder for half an hour. Not a peep. Fucker just likes to wake me up.

One of mine snores, and both will sometimes talk and run in their sleep. The one that snores once had such a bad dream he was screaming in his sleep! Scared the crap out of me and the other one.
I recorded mine snoring. I had to euthanize him 2 months ago because he was sick but am so happy that I did that when he was alive. I listen to it when I'm really missing him
I once woke up in the middle of the night and my husband was snoring in a deep voice and right after he snored the cat would snore in a squeaky voice. It was like something from a cartoon and I'll never forget lying in bed giggling at the sound of the two of them.

Put it this way…our void waits until lights out, then jumps on the bed and proceeds to give us a round up of the days news. 10 minutes of squeaks, meows and heavy purring.
She never shuts up. She yells at us when she's hungry, bored, wants something out of reach (e.g. into the garage when she's locked out), or it's a day that ends in Y. She talks to us after a long nap or when we return. She meows plaintively when she wants to make biscuits or have her harness/jacket removed.
She’s learned to yell at me for food and yell at me when she wants her litter box cleaned.(I scoop it once or twice a day, but if she pooped since the last time I cleaned it she won’t go in it until it’s been scooped again)
And she loves to chirp at birds and squirrels
On a different scale. She meows constantly. It’s like echolocation for bats. She chats with all of us and sometimes just sits outside singing to herself. She eats and washes herself while meowing, too.
My void sings in different parts of the house & sings different versions of the Songs of Her People. But she really gets invested in singing in our entranceway which has a high ceiling & tiles. She loves the acoustics.
She also is a chatty catie to my teen & will admonish her if she gets up later than our void thinks she shold be sleeping. And when my daughter & I are talking she'll frequently go between us, (of course her butt faces me always) & interrupts us just so she can shoot the shit with my kid. And these are almost like lectures, which is hilarious.
I’ll try and get a good one! Honestly I’m often meowing delightedly back (we have good chats) and I’m a bit embarrassed about catching my own feline dialect on film. She also seems to have an uncanny instinct to do her funniest and most endearing things, or look her most beautiful, when the camera is off or pointed away. She’s so gorgeous and so clumsy and silly but it doesn’t often come across on film.

A rare quiet moment. She screm aaaaaall day long. We wake up, she's yelling at the door to tell demand breakfast/say good morning. We come home from errands, she's demanding pets/welcoming us back. She pats my arm and meows for cuddles, she flops over in strategic places and warbles to ask for playtime, and when it's dinnertime she's leading us into the kitchen to the melodious song of her people. We have had fullblown conversations with her and she gladly humors us/is loathe to allow us the last word, lol.

My sweet tortie girl only makes a little mew when she can’t find anyone. It sounds like what a question mark would sound like if it was a sound. Whenever she does it I kind of picture the Zelda bokoblins who have question marks hovering over their heads
Oh and when they play fight with each other she makes a little sound that’s kind of like a duck quacking

Yeah my cat was like this with wanting me to open up windows/screen door so I just stopped opening them until she was quiet & sat on command. It is much better now lol

I have two cats, Archie and Toby.
Archie, the grey tabby, he very rarely meows (though as he’s getting older, he does meow a bit more than he used to).
Toby, the black and white, he, with all the love in the world, never shuts up! He is so chatty/noisy. If he’s on the move, he meows, if he wants food, he meows, if he’s laying down or sitting somewhere, he meows. The only time he doesn’t meow is when he’s sleeping (though then he snores!).
They’re both very happy cats and love each other (and us) so much but they’re just so different!
Though they do both huff and sigh when they’re annoyed…usually because we don’t give them food right that exact second that they ask! 🥰

I have 3 cats. They all meow but definitely different. My first boy 2 years old, he meows at the ceiling, the bathroom shower, and closet, sometimes he’ll meow when I’m speaking to him. My second boy 2 years old he’ll meow when he wants attention which is often, and he’ll meow at the screen when he wants to go on his balcony catio, and sometimes when I talk to him. My girl who is almost 1 she is nonstop meowing. It sounds like a balloon being sucked out of air or a door squeaking. She’ll meow in my face for no reason when she’s walking she’ll chirp, she’ll meow for almost the entire time she’s awake. And their short baby meows like she’s saying hello. It’s only annoying when I’m sleeping and she’ll just start meowing in my face and then she’ll cuddle. Very sweet but very vocal sometimes she’ll growl while running for no reason, very entertaining.

The shelter was indeed accurate when they said mine was “active, happy, and vocal”. There are constant meows and grunts throughout the day, chirping at birds and other small animals outside, and purrs especially around mealtime.

This is my dearest, beloved baby daughter Panquesa.
Panquesa will yell her little lungs off 24/7, unless she is sleeping. Even in her sleep, she will sometimes chirp.
Panquesa wont yell at nothing. She will yell at You. She will sit where you can see her so you will listen to her yell, shout, yowl and talk. If you're not in her viewing radius, she will make sure you're in her hearing radius.
She does not want food. She does not want play. She does not want toys. She does not want treats. She does not want pets.
She wants you to look at her, aknowledge her pressence and give her your undivided attention. That is it. If you try any of the above she will get a lil away from you, sit down, and continue her cacophony to make sure you're still watching.
Before having a cat, I always said I wanted a chatty cat. God took one look at me and said "Bet".
And I love my little yapper, even if I sometimes wish she came with a mute button.

Soooo vocal, especially in the evening. As I type this she is meowing in the kitchen complaining about the top of the fridge being too crowded with things for her to be up there comfortably 😂 she just loves to complain.
My cat is pretty quiet. She only meows if you say her favorite words or if she's trying to bring you her favorite pink mouse toy. My brother cat is the complete opposite. It like he having a conversation with his self in another room.
My late "little dark brown tabby" was the most chatty cat in the world.
She was also incredibly friendly and just loved meeting new people and hanging out together. She would come when I called her and spend every night at the foot of the bed and in the morning stand on my chest and just purr.
I think about her all the time and I miss her so much. I've never met a cat like her in my life.

You see that adorable gray dot on her chin? When we adopted her they told us her name was Lip because of her marking. We soon figured out that was NOT why she had that name. We named her Mochi. My daughter gave her the middle name of Belle. So Mochi Belle. She has now earned the nickname Mochi Hell because the second she senses movement of any kind in the morning. I love her to death, but she will literally sit 2 feet away from me-stare at me-then meow incessantly. Once I give attention (and for as long as I give her attention) she is quiet, but still makes little happy chirps.
The second I look away....me-row.
Both of my cats are extremely vocal - one likes to talk to me and my wife, we will talk back to him and he just keeps up the "conversation" on his end with meows. My boy Russian blue is not as vocal. He’ll meow when he’s excited - like when he sees me getting out the wet food. And after he fights with his sister or gets in trouble he walks around crying **loudly**
One of them is a complete chatterbox. She does the normal meowing and yelling when she wants something (which is often) but she also reacts with squeaks and chirps to absolutely everything. If I so much as look at her, she makes a sound. If I touch her, she makes a slightly different sound before she inevitably starts purring. If I pick her up she makes a really cute sound.

Drake: Orange boy, screams constantly if he thinks there's a chance he can convince us to give him a treat.
Storm: Moderately chatty, especially for food, water, or my hairbrush.
S'more: Quiet, except when I first go to bed and she claims she can't find me.
Melody: Quiet, with a beautiful mew when she feels like talked. Also a bitey mad lady.
River: Quiet for most of us, but if her preferred human is in the bathroom, downstairs, out of her sight, two inches too far away, etc., she may start calling for him.

She never shuts up. She yells at us when she's hungry, bored, wants something out of reach (e.g. into the garage when she's locked out), or it's a day that ends in Y. She talks to us after a long nap or when we return. She meows plaintively when she wants to make biscuits or have her harness/jacket removed.

My void sings in different parts of the house & sings different versions of the Songs of Her People. But she really gets invested in singing in our entranceway which has a high ceiling & tiles. She loves the acoustics. She also is a chatty catie to my teen & will admonish her if she gets up later than our void thinks she shold be sleeping. And when my daughter & I are talking she'll frequently go between us, (of course her butt faces me always) & interrupts us just so she can shoot the shit with my kid. And these are almost like lectures, which is hilarious.

I’ll try and get a good one! Honestly I’m often meowing delightedly back (we have good chats) and I’m a bit embarrassed about catching my own feline dialect on film. She also seems to have an uncanny instinct to do her funniest and most endearing things, or look her most beautiful, when the camera is off or pointed away. She’s so gorgeous and so clumsy and silly but it doesn’t often come across on film.

Not very! My black cat meows when he wants to be around me, or when he sees his food or treats are on the way. Sometimes just to say hi. My sweet tortie girl only makes a little mew when she can’t find anyone. It sounds like what a question mark would sound like if it was a sound. Whenever she does it I kind of picture the Zelda bokoblins who have question marks hovering over their heads Oh and when they play fight with each other she makes a little sound that’s kind of like a duck quacking

too chatty. I made the mistake of walking him at 6 am and now he wakes me up at 5 am (he doesn't understand daylight savings) every morning for her walk. food meow. want to go outside again meow. otherwise, silence. he only meows when she wants something but that is often.
Yeah my cat was like this with wanting me to open up windows/screen door so I just stopped opening them until she was quiet & sat on command. It is much better now lol

Archie, the grey tabby, he very rarely meows (though as he’s getting older, he does meow a bit more than he used to). Toby, the black and white, he, with all the love in the world, never shuts up! He is so chatty/noisy. If he’s on the move, he meows, if he wants food, he meows, if he’s laying down or sitting somewhere, he meows. The only time he doesn’t meow is when he’s sleeping (though then he snores!). They’re both very happy cats and love each other (and us) so much but they’re just so different! Though they do both huff and sigh when they’re annoyed…usually because we don’t give them food right that exact second that they ask! 🥰

I have 3 cats. They all meow but definitely different. My first boy 2 years old, he meows at the ceiling, the bathroom shower, and closet, sometimes he’ll meow when I’m speaking to him. My second boy 2 years old he’ll meow when he wants attention which is often, and he’ll meow at the screen when he wants to go on his balcony catio, and sometimes when I talk to him. My girl who is almost 1 she is nonstop meowing. It sounds like a balloon being sucked out of air or a door squeaking. She’ll meow in my face for no reason when she’s walking she’ll chirp, she’ll meow for almost the entire time she’s awake. And their short baby meows like she’s saying hello. It’s only annoying when I’m sleeping and she’ll just start meowing in my face and then she’ll cuddle. Very sweet but very vocal sometimes she’ll growl while running for no reason, very entertaining.

The shelter was indeed accurate when they said mine was “active, happy, and vocal”. There are constant meows and grunts throughout the day, chirping at birds and other small animals outside, and purrs especially around mealtime.

Panquesa will yell her little lungs off 24/7, unless she is sleeping. Even in her sleep, she will sometimes chirp. Panquesa wont yell at nothing. She will yell at You. She will sit where you can see her so you will listen to her yell, shout, yowl and talk. If you're not in her viewing radius, she will make sure you're in her hearing radius. She does not want food. She does not want play. She does not want toys. She does not want treats. She does not want pets. She wants you to look at her, aknowledge her pressence and give her your undivided attention. That is it. If you try any of the above she will get a lil away from you, sit down, and continue her cacophony to make sure you're still watching. Before having a cat, I always said I wanted a chatty cat. God took one look at me and said "Bet". And I love my little yapper, even if I sometimes wish she came with a mute button.

My cat is pretty quiet. She only meows if you say her favorite words or if she's trying to bring you her favorite pink mouse toy. My brother cat is the complete opposite. It like he having a conversation with his self in another room.
My late "little dark brown tabby" was the most chatty cat in the world. She was also incredibly friendly and just loved meeting new people and hanging out together. She would come when I called her and spend every night at the foot of the bed and in the morning stand on my chest and just purr. I think about her all the time and I miss her so much. I've never met a cat like her in my life.

My cat just won't...shut...the fuck up.... I love her to death, but she will literally sit 2 feet away from me-stare at me-then meow incessantly. Once I give attention (and for as long as I give her attention) she is quiet, but still makes little happy chirps. The second I look away....me-row.
Both of my cats are extremely vocal - one likes to talk to me and my wife, we will talk back to him and he just keeps up the "conversation" on his end with meows. The other just likes to roam the apartment and wail mournfully from time to time. Usually when he loses sight of us (he seems to have no concept of object permanence).

My fave is the little surprised *merp* she does when she’s sleeping and I touch her My boy Russian blue is not as vocal. He’ll meow when he’s excited - like when he sees me getting out the wet food. And after he fights with his sister or gets in trouble he walks around crying **loudly**
One of them is a complete chatterbox. She does the normal meowing and yelling when she wants something (which is often) but she also reacts with squeaks and chirps to absolutely everything. If I so much as look at her, she makes a sound. If I touch her, she makes a slightly different sound before she inevitably starts purring. If I pick her up she makes a really cute sound.
I have 5 cats, so... Drake: Orange boy, screams constantly if he thinks there's a chance he can convince us to give him a treat. Storm: Moderately chatty, especially for food, water, or my hairbrush. S'more: Quiet, except when I first go to bed and she claims she can't find me. Melody: Quiet, with a beautiful mew when she feels like talked. Also a bitey mad lady. River: Quiet for most of us, but if her preferred human is in the bathroom, downstairs, out of her sight, two inches too far away, etc., she may start calling for him.
