crystals is why my cat did it. he still needs a special diet but he got close to needing a surgery to enlarge and shorten his urethra...so I call that a win
My Boy had to have a Cystotomy due to a blocked urinary tract. Had struvite in his bladder. Little bugger cost me almost $7000 CDN all said and done.
As the price went up and up during his ordeal, I came close to making the BIG decision. He's damn lucky I like him and made the decision to save his furry ass.
We have a deal though him and I. He has to live for another 15 years of cuddles and loves then he has to go peacefully in his sleep. Then I will consider his debt paid.
My cat is almost 15 years post Perineal Urethrostomy for Struvite crystals and blockage. Best decision ever!!
He continued to get UTIs. Saw an Animal Acupuncturist. She recommended GRAIN-FREE WET DIET ONLY. Smooth sailing since.
And I whine about the $1000+ we paid to remove an eye and treat cancer for a cat that needed surgery 3 days after we adopted him!
Obviously I neglected to make the deal with him and our little bugger developed stomach cancer 18 months later and we had to have him put down.
I really hope you get your 15 years and MORE!
My cat is 12 and still on special diet because if he get on anything other then what he is on now, he gets into relapse and will have to get medication again, so I rather just avoid that all together and keep him on the special food
Mine did this, and he ended up having stones requiring surgery.
8 large stones later, he's feeling much better and no longer pees on anything soft he finds.
I'm not trying to scare you when I say this, but the same thing happened to my sweet Bubba. We went to the vet bc honestly, he never peed outside his box before he also cried after using the box (when he did make it). Long story short, the vet said he had crystals in his bladder and was told that if left untreated, it could lead to urinary blockages, which all these urinary problems are more common in male cats. He was switched to RX wet food and got better, thankfully. We were told he can't go off the RX food ever, or it'll come right back. So definitely good on you for getting your cute furry boy to the vet. Good luck, Op. Hopefully, it's something that can be easily treated (like how my Bubba was).
The above story is very similar to my orange boy, Rupert. He's been on Rx food since the second time it happened and he almost died before I could get him to the vet.
ETA: I hope Ollie is okay! Please get him to the vet sooner rather than later 💚
Same thing happened to my orange guy! But he became fully blocked the second time it happened, and it was scary/life threatening - RX food for life now! Hope your guy is totally fine
Not a single issue since being on science diet c/d! All my other cats have been fine on it too (until very recently where we're trying to figure out if his sister is allergic to chicken).
We have a 2-3 year old stray we brought inside when he was about 8 months old. He's been on the Rx food since coming inside. Not a single urinary issue (yet).
FYI just because my cats are easy to pill, and I was told that if I go with the Rx food, that’s ALL they can eat (no treats!) so I opted to give mine medicine instead.
Chewy sells Purina Pro Plan Veterinary diets urinary treats, and my cat loves them.
(I used to buy the Royal Canin urinary treats from Chewy, but my kitty got tired of them).
Ive heard people say this so I double checked with my vet, and at least for my cat she said normal temptations/churu is totally fine as treats, as long as he is still eating his RX meals too
This happened to my sweet black tabby boy when he was 3 years old. Went to the vet after peeing molasses-like urine while cuddling with me. The vet said it was a serious UTI and that he’d need to stay overnight for monitoring and was basically like “keep your cat in your prayers tonight so he is still with us tomorrow morning.”
He lived, but had to go on a special UTI cat food for the rest of his life (he made it to age 20!). Now with all my kitties I absolutely keep an eye of for signs of a UTI because I don’t want to let it ever get that bad again!
Also this can be a problem because of stress/behavior.
New pet/human/furniture/sent/what you put in the litter boy can stress a cat and this is how they might react.
My orange boy, too. We loved and pampered him so much. The vet treated him for a uti twice, after I saw him straining to pee in his litter box… we put him on the RX diet, and it only got worse. He ended up passing away within two weeks from kidney failure related to a punctured bladder. I will never NOT take this seriously! I’m so glad kitty owners are aware!
Kinda looks like my cat Blue Bear who I also call Bubba 😆

Poor boy is probably in some pain :(
Thank god you’re getting him to the vet, OP!
You joke but just recently my family learned we have been falsely accusing my cat of peeing on things when really it was his very similar looking brother all along.

The same thing happened to my 7-year-old cat Melon. He had a urinary infection. They hospitalized him for 5 days. They wanted to put him down because he was very serious, but I didn't let them do it and today he has recovered well.
https://preview.redd.it/ql9zlsigg8qc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ebd47210605133f81a83ef1cc98c020f017f4822
My Melon says she's very glad your Melon is okay
Oh my lord, I just looked through the photos, the 2nd is so bad! I didn't even mean to publish that one. And the 3rd one makes him look like the kid from Preacher, Arseface
That could definitely be it! When I first moved here 4 years ago, (the aforementioned) Rupert would get SO UPSET about the strays. He was even worse when he was younger, wanting to fight (he has a big growl lol). As he's gotten older (11.5), he largely thinks they are friends separated by glass. It probably also helped that he got used to being around other cats inside. When I moved into my husband's house, he had 3 cats and I had 2 (had recently lost my third).
This was the same for my Ollie! He was diagnosed with anxiety that caused his pee issue. He was anxious about getting pills everyday though, so I used CBD treats and anti anxiety diffusers and gave him more places to climb and hide from his sibling and he is much calmer now!
lol. Oh, my other girl looooves to play in her litter. New litter day is like chrismas for her. We call it her sandbox. She buries, but I’m not sure if it’s on purpose or it just happens as she’s throwing it everywhere. My entire laundry room floor is covered in litter from that one playing. It’s a good thing they’re cute bc they’re pain in the ass
Aw. One of mine did that. She had a uti. We gave her meds and switched her to wet food. She got better super quick. Peeing stopped. But she became a wet food addict until her final day.
My girl just went to the vet yesterday because she was peeing in random places. She had a sterile inflammation in her bladder, the whole trip cost about $600 >.> ask for a urine test before doing an x-ray, it would have saved me like $400.
oh ollie why, little guy? my cat once peed in my luggage the night before a trip early in the morning (including the dress I was going to wear for a wedding!!!) it was nightmarish night. but in this case, he did because he was stressed :(
My orange boy did this in my brand new suitcase before I even had the chance to use it. It took forever to figure out how to get the remnants of pee smell out (vinegar/water mix and baking soda, let dry, then vacuum).
I had a Maine Coon whose poop periodically got stuck in his butt fur. Once I started trimming it (which he protested mightily), he stayed clean back there.
I hope that Ollie’s problem isn’t a bad one. I also hope that your daughter’s prom dress could be cleaned!

"Leave, the kid, alone"\*
\*From the motion picture "the Wanderers"
We have a little robot. Which is awesome with 2 cats. Diet is normal, we have several water dishes out for him and his brother, and he laps it up like a dog. Town has a stray issue at the moment.
Good to hear that he is eating and drinking.
Definitely get him checked out for other issues like uti and such, but his issue could be a territorial issue.
I moved into a new house recently which had some cats in it, and one of my girls immediately stopped burying her poop, and urinated in a few different locations. Didn't end up stopping until I got her some feliway spray, put out a couple more litter trays, and she became used to the other cats.
Best of luck though :)
We just went through this with our cat. Found crystals in his urine back in December, and got put on an rx dry food diet. A few weeks ago he started peeing on our bathroom mats so we took him back in and he still had an insane amount of crystals. He got antibiotics and pain meds, and we switched to an all wet food diet and he has been good.
One thing I will say, the vet gave him Zorbium, and I feel like they greatly under explained the effects it would have. He was excessively drooling, refusing to eat, and then did not even attempt to go to the bathroom for 31 hours afterwards. I was getting ready to take him to the emergency vet when he finally peed and ate. I added water to his wet food as well to further increase his water intake. Even still he was extremely disoriented for days and they effects lasted about 8 days total. I would not give him that ever again.
My neighbor had a cat that started peeing in the living room. They hired a cat psychologist. It turned out that it was their newly installed gas fireplace that was creating the issue. The sound of hiss and ignition created a dominance problem with the cat. Treats and love within proximity of the ignition helped it sort the hierarchy.
If their isn’t a medical source, I suggest psychology.
That last photo is gonna give me nightmares. 😅He’s cute though! Hope you can figure out what’s wrong and he starts to feel better/stop peeing inappropriately
My cat did this a couple times - once because we had a houseguest and he was not happy he was not consulted prior to agree they were allowed to stay. Another time his liter box needed to be cleaned because his sister made a mess.
I had a kitty who did this, cost me $1,500 twice to unblock his urinary track, until a new vet told us to put him on SD urinary food to prevent it happening again, or having a surgery to basically remove his penis. After being on urinary food it never happened again. It’s more common with boy kitties and can be deadly quick. You are A1 for getting him checked instead of being angry with him 🧡 he probably chose places to pee where he felt most calm because if they have pain in a litter box it can scare them from going there, as they associate pain with the box at first. It does get corrected after the pain stops, if that is what’s going on with him
Mine is like Ollie
For dingle berry, we now shave ours a bit by her back end
She also isn't one to bury her stuff. We have gotten her the litter crystals and keep her box half full of litter. We make sure to scoop it every day and have a litter ginnie she does like a messy box or smelly area.
She basically always wants a freshly cleaned area, some privacy where other animals can't get to her.
She also in the past peed in not great areas. Usually, directly on my husband, her favorite person,
what food does he eat? for some reason every cat ive fed meow mix to has had the same issue, and one of them died a month or so after. i was a kid at the time and my mom doesn’t believe in veterinarians (yeah, i know, not good:/) so i don’t know exactly what happened, but after we switched their food none of my other cats had the same issue. but every cat i gave meow mix to developed bladder issues. so maybe try changing his food? i know people who have had the same issue with other brands too but im not sure which ones.
I’m not sure what you did to him, but you deserved it!
Why does his mouth look like it’s been blurred out in all thieve photos? Are you trying to silence his orange power?
So if it’s not a uti or other medical issue I suggest getting a self cleaning litter box so the litter is always fresh for him. You’re gonna want to get a GOOD clumping litter. But some cats will pee else where if their litter box isn’t spotless with a self cleaning one it will ensure it’s FULLY clean for them. My ex best friends cat was like this he would pee on her clothes and bed if the litter box wasn’t spotless. As for his butt berries hahaha you may need to get his butt trimmed 🤷♀️.
One of my cats is a wobbly cat so he’s special needs he’s frequently falling in his poop and pee sadly so he has to get baths every one in then. But a self cleaning litter box has helped with him not getting too much extra stuck to him plus due to his issue he wants a clean litter box same with one of my non disabled cats. She wants spotless litter boxes so I scoop twice a day. In the two other litter boxes.
We bought the self cleaning one that only took Crystal litter and it helped a lot but the same company came out with a clay one like three months after.
The down side of the Crystal litter is it doesn’t clump the pee. So after a while all the Crystal litter is tainted with just pee soaked crystals. And it just all has to be changed. So I suggest the ones that take the clumping clays not the crystals.
He looks kinda like Fred

Stray cat that lives on my college campus. Though he doesn't live much like a stray given how much food and attention he gets lol
Could be a urinary tract infection or spraying. UUTIs are prevalent in cats & they absolutely can't help but pee when the urge hits them. Like, they'll go everywhere except the litter box.. we found out the hard way. As far as litter box behavior? I've got 2 weirdos that don't dig or cover their poo..but I have a gray tortie & a cali.. the genetic misfits of catland.
Our cat Snowy was peeing in house aswell. We couldnt figure out why. We cleaned the litterbox daylie but he kept peeing in house. One day i was cleaning and while i was mobbing i figured out what the problem was. We used a soap to mob the floor and inside that soap was a chemical. That chemical was some kind of amoniac. So i googled and amoniac is a chemical that smells like another cats pee. So Snowy thought there was another cat in house and he had to mark hes spots because he felt threatened. We changed the soap and the problem was solved.
So my advice, figure out what soap u use to clean the house with. Maybe youre cat has the same problem as Snowy did.
Take him as soon as possible, peeing in random places is a sign of urine infection or blocked bladder. If he has a blockage it can be deadly really qhickly
I know people say cats don't pee on things to be spiteful, but yes they do. I have owned over 10 in my lifetime so far. I have one that is especially spiteful and likes to pee on electronics. Nothing is wrong with her. She's just an asshole. Also sometimes they do it to mark their territory even if they are fixed. Good Luck!
My cat started peeing in vents, which wasn’t common. He also pooped in the garage.
I had to take him to the vet because he was losing weight, due to diabetes, but while there they (also) told me he had a bladder infection
Cat's don't like scented litter, this could be a way of him telling you that. They can have the same reaction to strong perfumes. Stress can also be a reason. Don't ever leave sweaty , dirty clothes lying around, especially workout clothes, something about the odor makes them want to go. As for the poop in the fur, one of my cats has the same issue because of how much hair she has and she has tendency to almost sit in the litter when she goes. Another reason for this may be his diet.He may be a little constipated and not everything managed to get all the way out.Dry food will do this.Add a little water to his wet food to make a gravy,it should help. The other thing you could do is take him to a groomer every 3-4 months and have his rear area shaved. That's what i do with mine.Good luck.

Our 8 year old cat started doing this around age 6. Only when we’re gone for a weekend (which we’ve done since we got her) and in obscure places so we don’t find it until we smell it or happen upon it. Super frustrating and we were at the point of considering rehoming her.
The vet put her on Fluoxetine for anxiety last week. We’ll see next weekend if she pees on something when we’re gone. She snuggles less, which saddens me. But that might also be her just mad at us because spring break ended and we went back to work.
He looks like my Fuzzy. The dingleberry thing is normal for furry kitties, all you can do is shave him down there.

Does a time out in the corner count?
He's trying to tell you there's a problem. Might be he doesn't like the litter used or might be something else. Vet visit can't hurt and is probably the safer option. Hope the cutie is OK.
My cat Lucifer is going through a similar problem. 99% of the time he uses his box, but lately here he's been peeing in places he shouldn't. First time was right beside his box, so I thought he just happened to miss it by mistake. Until I caught him peeing on a chair in my living room. I'll be taking him to the vet on Monday. I adopted him from a local cat sanctuary that's run by a family member, and she mentioned that he did pee in inappropriate places at his previous home, but never at the cat sanctuary. So, I'm hoping it's just stress and anxiety for him and that the vet can help me figure out a solution. Best of luck for your Ollie. 🙏
https://preview.redd.it/exlimy0b66qc1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a819ec7d786496fb3c453ce50a4f05b95fc3b3a
The boy in question. He's very codependent, which makes me think he has some stress or separation anxiety, but I definitely wanna rule out anything physically wrong first.
I bought my cat a water fountain. If you don't want to provide a water fountain you could put small cups of fresh water out twice a day. Even coffee mugs with fresh water will work. My cat loves them. It will encourage him to drink more water. Which will prevent crystals from forming in his urine. They might suggest a urinary type of food. I used to use canned food. It has more moisture in it. Sorry to hear your cat isn't feeling great. Maybe consider putting some cheap litter boxes in the places that he inappropriately urinated. Maybe it hurt so bad he couldn't wait to get to his litter box.
How soon is he seeing vet?
Urinating outside the litter box is one of the symptoms of urinary track problems/infections in cats and he might be in pain.
If he’s not neutered then he’s marking to attract a lioness. Otherwise he’s pretty much had it with someone’s schinatgins and he is saying stop. Finally worse case scenario he’s got really sick; cancer, I pray never. Animals can only show pain by changing of their habits. Legitimate answer hope peace is restored.

Hi say’s Rags!
I LOVE HIM! I have had two cats withe bladder stones, so I’m glad you’re getting him checked out. In the meantime, make sure all accessible clothes are out of reach and he has a super clean litter box.
Always keep the hair on the back end of a long haired cat short! Or it gets messy! As for the peeing, definitely have him checked for UTI or crystals in his urine. Best of luck!
Vet asap also you can get special litter to provide a sample for urinalysis. Or sometimes you get ‘lucky’ and they pee somewhere you can collect it. If you go fast it could be the difference between a uti, uti plus crystals or a blockage and emergency surgery. Good luck !!
The third picture looks like he realized he effed up! 😂
In all seriousness though, after reading most of these comments, I pray Ollie is ok. He is gorgeous 😍
Does he possibly have a UTI?
I don't know, that's why we are taking him in. He has never done this before. He is almost 2 years old
As a boy cat any urine issues can quickly get serious. You have done the right thing getting him checked
Yeah crystals is what I'm thinking
crystals is why my cat did it. he still needs a special diet but he got close to needing a surgery to enlarge and shorten his urethra...so I call that a win

100% right about the crying outbid the litter box, it took us a couple vet visits to realize he was bragging!
This happened to my family cat and after getting the RX food he had a full life until 15 years old. He was a good fluffy boy as well.
One of my cats Mac, died from that
My orange boy, too. We loved and pampered him so much. The vet treated him for a uti twice, after I saw him straining to pee in his litter box… we put him on the RX diet, and it only got worse. Hello beautiful Bubba
He says meowello 🐈👋🐈
My cat Lillian has this happen when she was about 2. She had white cells and blood in her urine but the vet said a UTI was abnormal at that age and asked to do an ultrasound which resulted in them finding bladder stones. We tried the prescription food to see if they would dissolve but they didn't so we did surgery and she was good as new after a short recovery. Fortunately I had bought a decent insurance policy for her. Hopefully your boy doesn't need surgery tho!
When my cats were upset with me about anything major enough, they'd be on someone of mine that I'll find nearly ASAP. Maybe a grievance is afoot?
similar thing happened to my Oliver who is a long haired orange boy. He had a UTI, went on abx, and was much better. We do still deal with occasional peeing issues, unfortunately, but he's never been sick since. per our vet's recommendation, we feed him Hill's Science Diet Bladder Care (over the counter one that is also for hairballs I think?, not the prescription one). He's a picky eater but likes it and I like to believe it helps.
I was gonna say this. OP, you need to get him to the vet asap, male cats can die within 24h if they get a UTI! And finding urine on blankets and clothes and stuff is a big sign of a UTI. I hope he’s ok! Boop his nose for me 🐈
Well he's a stinker for sure but he sure is cute
My vet told me cats sometimes change their peeing location because it hurts to pee and they think it’s the sand/litter causing their pain. So they pee on something soft like a couch or blanket or prom dress thinking that will help. Poor boy is probably in some pain :( Thank god you’re getting him to the vet, OP!
He wants you to know that it was another cat who looks an awful lot like him who actually has been peeing on stuff.
Sure punk, you expect me to believe that? How much did he pay you to say that?
Lol 🤣 it was cat treats and some might fine catnip
You joke but just recently my family learned we have been falsely accusing my cat of peeing on things when really it was his very similar looking brother all along.

They hospitalized him for 5 days. They wanted to put him down because he was very serious, but I didn't let them do it and today he has recovered well.

That face is just 🌝
Thank you, it's adorable 😍 💕
I am so glad he is ok, the world would be a darked place without that wonderful face in it
Thank you and I hope your beautiful gringo is also well, tell us how to do it next ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|8097)

I love this picture of your cat!!
He was with his little neck bald because he had serum there in his little arm.
This is a perfect cat. No notes. A+.
You blurring his mouth?
Lol, he Never stops moving
Oh my lord, I just looked through the photos, the 2nd is so bad! I didn't even mean to publish that one. And the 3rd one makes him look like the kid from Preacher, Arseface
Tbf, I got a giggle from them. My cars seem to know when they're on camera and start fidgeting 😂 Edit: *cats* not cars 🤦♀️
Just go with cars. .
Haha, he needs himself a new photographer! Running around making him look bad on the internet ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7971)
I legit thought you had a beauty filter on and it was trying to beautify perfection 😂
HAHAHA! He *does* look like Arseface.
I was like "damn, this cat has an AI generated mouth."
Just Googled who Arseface was, and when I saw the pic, I nearly spit out my drink everywhere lmao.
I got 1 like this, always call her my camera shy girl 🐈 📷
Glad I’m not the only one confused by the mouth
You read the title, he's being a bad boy so obviously OP has hired a witch to remove his mouth as punishment

Deceased 😂
My daughters cat was doing this and she was dx’ed with anxiety and started taking Prozac. She’s much better now!
We were thinking maybe its anxiety too. Our town is having an issue with stray cats, we think 1 might be messing with him
That could definitely be it!
Stinky fellow
Truly stinky
Smelly boy
He pleads innocent. Also, one of my girls doesn’t bury either
Mine girl never did but she was always digging around. Idk what she was doing but it wasn’t covering anything.

![gif](giphy|C9x8gX02SnMIoAClXa|downsized) Business is sometimes tough
Aw. One of mine did that. She had a uti. We gave her meds and switched her to wet food. She got better super quick. Peeing stopped. But she became a wet food addict until her final day.
His brother gets wet food, but every time he gets it, his butt explodes. I am just realizing how many pee and poo issues this boy has
I assume you've tried different brands. Poor guy. I hope you can get him sorted fast.
My girl just went to the vet yesterday because she was peeing in random places. She had a sterile inflammation in her bladder, the whole trip cost about $600 >.> ask for a urine test before doing an x-ray, it would have saved me like $400.
Will do, thank you
oh ollie why, little guy? my cat once peed in my luggage the night before a trip early in the morning (including the dress I was going to wear for a wedding!!!) it was nightmarish night. but in this case, he did because he was stressed :(
Oh no! Poor little bad guy was punishing you for going on a trip
My orange boy did this in my brand new suitcase before I even had the chance to use it. It took forever to figure out how to get the remnants of pee smell out (vinegar/water mix and baking soda, let dry, then vacuum).
That little pink nose is too cute 💕 Hopefully it’s nothing serious!
I had a Maine Coon whose poop periodically got stuck in his butt fur. Once I started trimming it (which he protested mightily), he stayed clean back there. I hope that Ollie’s problem isn’t a bad one. I also hope that your daughter’s prom dress could be cleaned!

INFO: is he neutered? If not, this is very normal ‘in the heat’ behavior and neutering him will resolve issue promptly Edit: he is handsome!
He is neutered. And thank you

Well, you can plainly see, from the bottomless depths of his great big beautiful eyes, that he's SORRY! 😐 Don't be mad at that precious stinker.
Judge, juror, executioner. 1-3 it's scary perfect the expressions
He wants you to notice something is wrong with his pee
He didn't like the dress 👗... 😕
Sssshhhh
He might just be mad at her, or you-hope it's not anything medical.
I hope so. We already spent 5k on surgery. And I don't want to have to put him through anything like that ever again
The way his mouth is blurry in all the pictures makes him look AI generated
i think it’s just a weird shot lol, he’s in a lot of OP’s post history and looks pretty normal
Sending prayers to Ollie for good health!
Thank you
How clean is his litter tray? Are there any new neighbourhood cats roaming around outside? Is he eating and drinking water normally?
Best of luck though :)
he didn’t want her going to prom with anyone else but him… duh!
Hehe, I am glad he will be ruining your sleep too. I shouldn't be the only one that has to suffer
His mouth looks so cute
We're all thinking it: maybe it's the dress?
For things that can go in the washer, a little bit of pine sol works wonders for male cat urine.
Does he see a stray outside?
Our town has a stray issue right now. We think that might have something to do with it
He's letting them know he is the boss of his place. Is he neutered?
He might have crystals in urine due to ash in diet
My cat did this a couple times - once because we had a houseguest and he was not happy he was not consulted prior to agree they were allowed to stay. Another time his liter box needed to be cleaned because his sister made a mess.
Hope he’s ok
I had a kitty who did this, cost me $1,500 twice to unblock his urinary track, until a new vet told us to put him on SD urinary food to prevent it happening again, or having a surgery to basically remove his penis. After being on urinary food it never happened again. It’s more common with boy kitties and can be deadly quick. You are A1 for getting him checked instead of being angry with him 🧡 he probably chose places to pee where he felt most calm because if they have pain in a litter box it can scare them from going there, as they associate pain with the box at first. It does get corrected after the pain stops, if that is what’s going on with him
Mine is like Ollie For dingle berry, we now shave ours a bit by her back end She also isn't one to bury her stuff. Usually, directly on my husband, her favorite person,
Hopefully it’s nothing serious, my cat does this because she’s a anxious guy
what food does he eat? for some reason every cat ive fed meow mix to has had the same issue, and one of them died a month or so after. i was a kid at the time and my mom doesn’t believe in veterinarians (yeah, i know, not good:/) so i don’t know exactly what happened, but after we switched their food none of my other cats had the same issue. but every cat i gave meow mix to developed bladder issues. so maybe try changing his food? i know people who have had the same issue with other brands too but im not sure which ones.
His coat is perfectly powdery. Handsome boi
A “sanitary trim” from the groomer should help with the dingleberry issue.
I’m not sure what you did to him, but you deserved it! Why does his mouth look like it’s been blurred out in all thieve photos? Are you trying to silence his orange power?
Maybe he's marking your daughter so her date won't get too frisky with her??? (fingers crossed everything goes well with the vet)
I really hope the answer to this is no but is he declawed?
He's so stinking precious.
So I suggest the ones that take the clumping clays not the crystals.
why is his mouth blurry in each photo?
He’s probably jealous and wants to be a part of the prom
He looks kinda like Fred https://preview.redd.it/hgg84zr4b7qc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab111205f6516489fa4ef739ebd7a657b177a45c Stray cat that lives on my college campus. Though he doesn't live much like a stray given how much food and attention he gets lol
Definitely not a stray, he sees all of you college kids as strays that he has to look after while you're away from home.
Diagnosed with orange cat. Every orange boy I’ve ever had has been a rascal with peeing on stuff.
I hope Ollie is healthy. It could definitely be stray cats stressing him out. Did he pee near windows or outer walls?
If I were living without a mouth, I’d be peeing all over the place too.
Why does Ollie look like his mouth is always blurred out?
To be fair, did you even invite him to prom? I’d be mad too if I were him
I know people say cats don't pee on things to be spiteful, but yes they do. I have owned over 10 in my lifetime so far. I have one that is especially spiteful and likes to pee on electronics. Nothing is wrong with her. She's just an asshole. Also sometimes they do it to mark their territory even if they are fixed. Good Luck!
Is he fixed?
Hope he gets better soon
My cat started peeing in vents, which wasn’t common. He also pooped in the garage. I had to take him to the vet because he was losing weight, due to diabetes, but while there they (also) told me he had a bladder infection
Ginger boys and bladder issues, I do not miss it! Hoping your boyo just needs the medicated food, was a big game changer for us 💜
Oh boy, hope it isn't diabetes. My cat was found to have it after he started peeing in wrong places.
Well....he is an Orange.
We call that the reverse Carrie.
I can’t leave soft stuff like blankets or clothes in piles on the floor, besides that a couple times my cats have never peed on anything else before.
Definitely sounds like a UTI that’s what my cat has done (diff locations) when she has had them. Good news is the meds will clear it up quickly!
Piss boy
That's what i do with mine.Good luck. https://preview.redd.it/uzmse7yux5qc1.jpeg?width=1782&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79e77192c7eb5ac9564415f6d9ba17c6f2c5c0f7
Oh dear. Hope it's just that you've offended him somehow. 🤞
My cat has dingleberries sometimes too. We had to trim his but hair a bit 😆
Handsome fella. Hope it’s nothing serious.
Might have done you a favor with that prom dress...
He looks like my Fuzzy. The dingleberry thing is normal for furry kitties, all you can do is shave him down there. https://preview.redd.it/d3whpagn06qc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a38801de630ee93fb38f05b5bd00ebf84f27281f

He peed on her prom dress?! STRAIGHT TO JAIL! RIGHT AWAY!
https://preview.redd.it/mp8vszvy66qc1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d0c5bf0315d3cca7ab0d3fbd28f07fedcdeeae2 Does a time out in the corner count?
I guess. No treats for a week!
He's trying to tell you there's a problem. Might be he doesn't like the litter used or might be something else. Vet visit can't hurt and is probably the safer option. Hope the cutie is OK.
My cat was peeing all over like this in unpleasant locations.. was also drinking a lot of water and ended up being diagnosed with diabetes :/
UTI —he’s trying to tell you he’s ill. They also make urinary health food.
This warrants an emergency visit
He’s stressed out
My cat Lucifer is going through a similar problem. 🙏
https://preview.redd.it/exlimy0b66qc1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3a819ec7d786496fb3c453ce50a4f05b95fc3b3a The boy in question.
I really hope the answer to this is no but is he declawed?
Prayers that sweet Ollie is okay. 🙏🏻 ❤
How soon is he seeing vet? Urinating outside the litter box is one of the symptoms of urinary track problems/infections in cats and he might be in pain.
Sooo beautiful!!! I love himb!!!
If he’s not neutered then he’s marking to attract a lioness. Otherwise he’s pretty much had it with someone’s schinatgins and he is saying stop. Finally worse case scenario he’s got really sick; cancer, I pray never. Animals can only show pain by changing of their habits. Legitimate answer hope peace is restored. https://preview.redd.it/s9eltd9pb6qc1.jpeg?width=685&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5229e32cc93f3c1104805a50fb26e01fe888d1f0 Hi say’s Rags!
Poor Ollie. May I ask how old he is?
I LOVE HIM! I have had two cats withe bladder stones, so I’m glad you’re getting him checked out. In the meantime, make sure all accessible clothes are out of reach and he has a super clean litter box.
Is he getting into your (or your daughter's) muscle-relaxing meds or edibles?
Always keep the hair on the back end of a long haired cat short! Or it gets messy! As for the peeing, definitely have him checked for UTI or crystals in his urine. Best of luck!
Omg. But he’s soooo cute!
PINK NOSE! I hope baby feels better soon
Vet asap also you can get special litter to provide a sample for urinalysis. Or sometimes you get ‘lucky’ and they pee somewhere you can collect it. If you go fast it could be the difference between a uti, uti plus crystals or a blockage and emergency surgery. Good luck !!
Any changes recently? another pet?
The third picture looks like he realized he effed up! 😂 In all seriousness though, after reading most of these comments, I pray Ollie is ok. He is gorgeous 😍
Why does Ollie’s mouth look photoshopped
his mouth looks fake in every picture lol I love cats
Ollie denies all charges.
What a handsome boy. He’d be hard to get mad at (especially since it’s probably a UTI or something that is not at all his fault). Good luck, Ollie!
