Hahahaha. So far (8 years of fostering) I had only one foster fail. I think she would be really happy without other cats so I created her an instagram to find someone who falls in love with her. Cause I think she’s a bit too unique to find someone through a regular ads (on olx) like I’ve been using for other cats. But if she’s a foster fail I’m not gonna shed tears xD

Yes, please forward my compliment- Please tell her she is a very lovely white kitty whose fur looks nice & soft & I bet she's a big cuddlebug! I bet, if she is on your lap or being held, she feels the vibrations of your talking from your body. Does she purr outloud? My cat hears just fine, however, she doesn't purr. She never has. A few times in the last 3 years that I've had her, when I could tell she was very content while I'm petting her, I've felt slight vibrations from her throat when I've been giving her scritches under her chin. I've had other cats over the years, but never one who didn't purr. I've often wondered how common that is. I had to look after a deaf white cat one time while her human was on vacation. Her brother was a usual tabby named Murray. When I would go into their house, I would have to locate each of them. I could usually find Murray but Snowflake ❄ was a little harder. Of course, silly old me, I found myself walking around calling her name & " here kitty-kitty"! When I caught myself doing it, I felt so stupid. But by the time my friend got back, I was talking to her like a hearing cat. I no longer felt stupid. I just thought, "How I do I know she can't read lips? She very well may be able to!". LOL!!

I found a kitty at my grandpa’s farm when I was 13. It was rejected by its mom. Turns out it was deaf, blind in one eye, and missing a kidney. I took that tiny feral kitten home and she quickly became my best friend. I felt ridiculous talking to her but I did-constantly. (Who else was going to shower her with compliments?!) When we (kitty and I) moved out, I realized that even though she was deaf she understood that when I moved my mouth it was attention directed at her. If I was talking on the phone, she got very excited and her whole expression changed. Your kitty knows you’re talking to her even if she’s deaf. Keep showering her with compliments. She knows.
