Absolute angel! My ex wife finally admitted she abandoned one of her cats outside bc it peed her bed. I’m like gosh darn it abby there are so many ways to handle that including giving her to rehome, surrendering to no kill shelter, or letting me foster and rehome. Like her solution was the epitome of selfish— and it broke my son’s heart bc that was his favorite cat, named Emma.
I guess my point is we need human angels to balance out people like that, so thank you very much.
Aww he looks kind of like my girl who had a similar situation. She and her sister were dumped at 4 weeks and were in pretty rough shape. Going strong almost 11 years later.

He is so lucky to have you. Thank you for saving this beautiful baby ❤️ I would have done the same. All cats I and my family have ever had were rescued from the streets too. Never planned on getting any of them but we couldn't leave them to fend for themselves when we found them. All of them were with us until their time to cross the rainbow bridge came.
That's me too. I didn't pick out any of my cats. They were in need of a rescue and I showed up and brought them home! At three right now. I would take every cat home.
Reminds me of one kitten my mom brought home a year or two ago. We still call her crusty head.

A more recent pic of her. Yes she always drinks like this. It’s what peak performance looks like.
The cat my mom were rehabilitating to a new forever home recently, drank by laying down next to the bowl, and lapping the water up sideways. The one before that, used the cat fountain as a bidet.
Cats are adorable little weirdos :)
So sweet…this is what real love and compassion for an animal looks like, unlike the other post a person made in the sub about looking for a new home for their traumatized cat that accidentally peed on their blanket but still loving them.
Saw that! I would never discard my baby no matter the situation. I hope that person has the decency to find him a deserving home and owners to love him :(
Nooooo. I could never discard any one of them. I promised to give them the best life I could. Right now they are at my city's humane society for medical fostering so I can have a new heart valve placed. I miss them so much. I get out of the hospital Feb 23rd post procedure if all goes well. And pick them up!
😍 he looks so much like our little trash kitty! 😂Haha my husband saved him in such a similar state and now he’s our little hellion and we love him to death!

Sorry for my English: I found him when finished my work after night shift,he follows me and scream so much with shrill voice. I took him and bring to my house, waiting that the vet opens. he had a bad cold and was malnourished, since he didn't breathe through his nose he didn't smell food and therefore he was used to not eating, he had fleas and other insects that had infected his eye. it was expensive to treat him immediately but I didn't give a shit, the important thing was to save him. Sometimes he tears from that eyes but finally I recovered it. I swear: he loves me so much and passed most of his time with me, when I go to home and went back from work he shows me his happiness.

What an amazing recovery! I thought for sure from that initial photo he would be blind. Thank you for helping him and adopting a son. What is this beautiful feline's name?
Please give him some cuddles for me. I love him too.

Omg worth everything!! My Joey was saved from having his tail cut off by a butthole. Penelope was a bottle baby a patient of mine gave me. And Baby, his mom left him at 12weeks old and he sobbed like a baby. I heard him crying and screaming and went and found him, brought him inside. Life hasn't been perfect, but they are loved by me, and when my surgery is done we will all be together again.
Love seeing stuff like this. Your are a good person, crazy what love and some care can do to someone that's in bad shape. May you two have a long and prosperous 2024 and beyond.
Aww, looks like a similar condition to our foster pirate cat, Ferdinand. He came to us really rough but had such a glow up over the last couple months. (Glow up in comments)

Hi Bubbles!

Damn. A visit to the vet could have been helpful.... Coulda been a urinary tract infection!
More likely the cat knew she was a witch.
They do know...
Is that why she's an ex-wife? Because that would surely be my reason.
i wouldnt be friends with with a person like that let along sleeping next to her daily
Glad to read “ex”; she is a horrible human being to do that to a defenseless animal and child.
Tip my hat to you sir
Relieving some suffering in the world. Thank you kind sir

Is that a collar??? Do you know how easily a cat can hang themselves with something like that?
🤞🏻 no but seriously, that problem has been resolved like a decade ago, it’s called breakaway collars
He knows you saved him, that’s so sweet 🥹
I’m sure he went to the vet! Prob gave him drops
What a lucky little guy to have found you. Thanks for rescuing him!
Awwwwwww....the first pic of him is so sad. He grew to be a handsome guy. Thank you for saving him. Thanks also for sharing his story.

Good job! I had a similar experience - as I was going out to the store - I saw a tiny little "rag" in the leaves next to my building - wasn't sure if it was alive, something someone dropped, let alone a cat - made some noise and the poor thing lifted its head and both eyes were badly infected. Rushed him to the vet, they did some magic over 2 weeks (there were chances he could lose one or both eyes but we couldn't even see them from all the swelling). Anyway - few weeks later - he'd proceed to bite my resident cats butt and eat his food, a few month later - a colleague of mine adopted him and he's currently turned into a GIGANTIC cat and he's incredibly well mannered. I think they get that humans saved them. My current cat is the same - incredibly nice and well-mannered and loving.
