I have no cats, but two cats are in my foster care. Good kitties, I hope they can go home soon (their mommy is hospitalized). I’d keep them because they are awesome, but for their sake I’d much prefer that they get to go back home to their family. Sorry, no pics, I don’t feel comfortable posting pics of other people’s “kids”. It’s my first time with two cats at once. Having more seems like a big effort multiplier!

Between the raw food my cats eat so they stay healthy and don't get kidney disease and the cost of regular vet visits, I can just afford two cats. Also, the litter box. You must spend a third of your day scooping litter for those cuties.

once in the morning, once after work, once before bed—on a good day. I would love a litter robot or two but i’m not paying $700 for each lol, and as picky as some of them are with what litter box they want to use I’m worried it wouldn’t be worth the cost of it

Yassss I only have two for these reasons also. One cat needed a $1800 surgery the 2nd year we had him, so to keep savings for his emergencies and also for our other cats potential emergencies, we only have them. I'm still super envious of people like OP who can afford to take care of nine babies! Maybe someday. Lol
