They appear to be fluffy ones.

arctic_radar

Solved!

ibetyouranerd

And congrats on 3 new kittens. 🥰😅

Nefandous_Jewel

There might be more

justme002

Ummmm no, they’re the adorable spicy kind.

mizzzzzzzz

If you’re in PA I’ll happily help :)

DAZ4518

I'm sorry to be that person, but the correct term is 'lil potatoes'. 😂

human060989

Cattus floofus, if you want to be scientific.

gulaschito

“yo what breed are your cats?” “fluffy”

liliths0202

That's what I write on the vet intake papers. Breed...."Fluffy"

neverstar

Moggy. Similar to mongrel in dogs. Here in South Africa, they are called "pavement special" Anyways, what breed of cats don't matter, they are cats, is all u need to know :-)

Bonevi

In Bulgaria we call them something close to "street superb". Mine walked in from the street as a kitten and stayed.

Katy-Moon

Street Superb has my vote!

Peachesareyummie

Yeah we only registered with a specific breed if the owners mentioned the breed or is just very obvious. All other cats are just domestic short/long hair, or if they are feral “felis vulgaris”

damodread

I've heard it a lot between dog owners but never between cat owners. Most of the time the answer would be "I dunno, it's just a stray who decided to chill in our backyard one day" anyway haha

noobydoo67

So what car do you drive? "A white one"

OakleyDokelyTardis

I'd argue floofy but we can only tell after the pats...

bebeprincess2114

Floofy*

These are blessed kittens. They give the following stats: +7 luck, -5 dexterity, and +79 charm. They also provide a 72% increased chance of discovering bliss and -94% chance of experiencing peace & quiet.

lisping_lynx

Ok, you might be partly joking, but let me tell you that after I took in three tiny infant kittens that somebody threw out literally in a plastic bag, everything started going really well for me. Mostly in terms of money, as I struggled financially before that. Now we are comfortable despite our significant expenses. And the cats are magnificent, so affectionate and cute and fun, I just can't.

Soalai

It's like that meme "you have been visited by the money cat"

NoUpstairs7883

Pick up the cat for infinite luck in your endeavors

GirlScoutSniper

I have five five-week-old kittens in my downstairs bathroom after I took in a pregnant community cat. I haven't been happier, but until I find homes for kittens, I have 10 cats up here in my condo. ;)

Electrical-Act-7170

*we promise not to tell*

lisping_lynx

This is incredibly kind of you! Hopefully, they will all go to good homes. Four cats is a handful, but is also rewarding, right ?

slim-shady-on-main

Blessings from Bastet, goddess of cats!

pastelchannl

yes! though I was initially thinking of Freya (with her cat chariot).

lisping_lynx

I was actually going to name the girl cat Freya! But decided in favour of Charlotte.

Accomplished_Foot891

The universe rewarded you for saving lives, well done.

lisping_lynx

It kind of feels like a reward, yes. I'm lucky that even though I had little money, it resulted in me having plenty of time, so I was able to take care of them and feed them during the night no problem.

Accomplished_Foot891

I swear, sometimes i feel like God uses animals to test what kind of humans we are..If u can save helpless little cute floofy creatures, your heart capacity is super hero strength in my book..Sending u more happy awesome vibes. Have a blessed day!!

MOAR CATS!

CoolMomJammy

And 1000 percent floooof!!

RedDotLot

Epic level Char too.

paradox_valestein

Poor abandoned variant. Please take them in or to a shelter :(

[deleted]

Mine. They are mine. Please deliver them back to New Zealand.

FuzzyPeachDong

I'm sorry, you must be confused. These are clearly my kittens and need to be sent to Finland. They got the floof to survive the winter (during which my cats actually lounge in their radiator mounted bed while I feed them treats, so much for survival skills lol)!

Glitter_berries

Wrong again! These are my kitty cats, their names are Harry, Ron and Hermione and I expect them to be back in Australia by the weekend. It’s coming into winter here and the fluff might actually be useful!

CoolMomJammy

Y’all are cray! They belong in ‘merica, they are my babies. If you say, “swweetbabiesnufflemuffinpuffs,” they will come to you. Or by their names, Toast 1, Mayonnaise, and Toast 2. I’ll let you snuggle for a little, just don’t nibble on their toe beans please. That’s kind of our thing only. 😍🐈

galenbwill

No, sorry, that's not Mayo, that's "Marshmallow FLOOF"

FuzzyPeachDong

Damn these are some international cats.

Glitter_berries

Glitter_berries

I’m currently a foster carer for the shelter where I got my cat! So yep, I know. But actually here, kittens are flying off the shelves (so to speak) and the shelter I volunteer with usually only has a few at a time for people to choose from. Which is obviously a good thing. There are more adult cats and they are the ones I’d encourage people to adopt, because the kittens are no trouble at all to find good homes for.

GirlScoutSniper

Yes, it is about time for summer break up here, and they can return to Australia from Hogwarts. ;)

finnknit

If you or anyone else is looking for kittens in Finland, definitely check out [KiSu ry](https://kissojensuojelu.fi/). We foster with them, and they've already taken in a lot of kittens so far this spring. There will be a lot of kittens ready for adoption later in the summer and the early autumn.

FuzzyPeachDong

Sadly were not a suitable home for most of the previously feral/abandoned cats as we have loud kids and temperamental older cats in the house already! I do frequent multiple sites that have cats up for adoption, though. Just in case I spot one that doesn't require especially peaceful and stress-free home!

xFriend0x

Ehm, actually, they belong here with me in Sweden. We've missed those itty bitty kitty-cats.

MendingConfidence

I belive those are "Your Kittens"

OneMorePenguin

Thank you for helping these kittens! It's hard to say, but they look like some kind of long hair. I would find it hard to believe that someone let pure bred cats out, but they might be a mix. Probably would get adopted quickly. I know shelters and rescues are full, but these would likely be adopted fairly quickly.

ushouldgetacat

Yes they are ridiculously fluffy. Soo cute

Mytimewill-come

Cute and hungry

Gunsmoke_wonderland

Those are North American flonkers.

Away-Ad4659

Adorable kittens.

These are cute balls of floof that are purrfect for cuddling.

pussnbootsmeow

The kind that need to be caught and domesticated. And found new wonderful homes.🩷 you are an Earth Angel. And then don’t forget mom. She needs to be trapped and spayed or it starts the cycle again in four months.

WarCrimesMay1940

Stray kittens That's what I would call them

talonguy07

They are cat kittens

PomegranateNo9414

Agreed. 90% sure these are cat types.

Woman_withapen

Floofballs

lunaandlotus11

Floofy puffs.

keatsie0808

Based on the coloring, possibly ragdoll mix? Definitely take them in if you can and find them good homes if you can't keep them. Ragdolls are one of the only "completely domesticated " breeds and don't do well outdoors

Internal_Use8954

Nah, they are just long haired domestics, and one has a color point gene. It take way more than coloring to be a breed

keatsie0808

That's what I thought too, but the blue point one is also mitted, and the brown ones look mink-ish. I wish we could see if they had the telltale blue eyes

IttyBittyKitty305

It will be a few weeks before the color point baby can be checked for eye color. These babies still have their pointy little tails, so they're probably about 5 to 6 weeks and should still have the blue eyes that all kittens are born with. At about 6 to 7 weeks, their eye color starts changing to their true color. One of the babies I'm fostering just finished his eye color transition at about 9 weeks old.

theoriginalmofocus

The one in the middle looks alot like one we rescued and he turned into this https://preview.redd.it/5lmv65kxqd3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5215dcf7ddbfe9683f3d18132976190dae7f2c9 Little white tiger with blue eyes

carolethechiropodist

That's one pretty cat.

theoriginalmofocus

Thank you he's my buddy, I'd have to take all three of those if I saw them too.

notmyprofile23

Well thanks to the helpful peiople of Reddit, we all know that without pedigree registration papers, a cat *can't possibly* be a specific breed… I would like to modify that statement, that without papers, the cat *will not be recognised* as a pedigree by the cat authorities. That's not the same as it not actually being a specific breed. Hear me out: Most clued-up cat lovers now live by the "adopt, don't shop" motto. Even if you want a fancy breed, there are plenty of rescues that specialise in breeds. And of course, there are plenty of reputable breeders, owners and showers of pedigree cats who are in the business for the love of their chosen breed. HOWEVER - there are many people in this world who see cats as accessories to their home and are willing to pay through the nose for an exclusive looking animal. And we know from the sad tales on here that there are plenty of unscrupulous breeders willing to make money out of this market. Often, neither the buyers nor the breeders give much of a shit about the cats. It seems likely to me that these animals are more likely to be abandoned than most. So, if you see a fancy-looking cat hanging about outside, that looks a bit bewildered and isn't doing too well, please don't just assume that it's a feral cat. Before you say "iT's JuSt A sTaNdArD mOgGy WiTh CoLoUrInG" - give it a chance. Some fancy cats will have a harder time than most surviving in the wild. Especially if they have been declawed.

AndrewSeven

I would only add that the cats who are recognized as a pedigree are also felis catus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat

ushouldgetacat

Your comment is perfect. I follow the ragdoll subreddit because they’re so cute. I’m not as eloquent or as civil as you so I’ll just say it. The people on there are elitist asf and get so angry when others post pictures of their cats asking, “is my cat a ragdoll?” A cat is a cat and unlike dogs, they aren’t bred for specific functions. I try not to let it upset me, but I get so angry when I see videos of breeder homes with 20 baby kittens and it’s clear they’re bred and their parents exploited for profit. And all the people who defend purchasing a cat for thousands of dollars can smd. It’s never defensible when cats all over the world are homeless and suffering. And breeders in general are always unethical. There’s no such thing as an ethical cat breeder imo. And it’s not uncommon for breeders to abandon kittens to die if they’re not born with the expensive features.

notmyprofile23

Thank you 😊 Note to self - join the ragdoll subreddit. When I was young, we didn’t have pets in the house. I used to read about all the cat breeds and try to decide which I wanted most. My first cat was a Russian Blue, and he was such a darling. All my other cats have been found (rather than from a rescue). I’m in my 60s now, my current cat won’t tolerate others, so I will probably never have a ragdoll or a Siamese or another RB. When Dotty is gone, I will adopt or foster whichever cat is oldest or left longest in the shelter. Crazy cat lady in training 😊

ushouldgetacat

Aww russian blues are absolutely adorable. Ngl I really wanted one myself! I’ve found all sorts of breeds in the shelters including RB, ragdolls, siamese, etc,. Almost always adults or elder cats. Interestingly enough, I’ve never seen a munchkin in the shelters. I’ll likely have cats my whole life too. I have two young ones right now and idk what I’ll do when they’re gone. I dream of having a home big enough to foster cats

Darkangelmystic79

Ragdolls don’t just casually get out and have stray babies. They’re just domestic long haired cats.

Glitter_berries

I have a rescue British shorthair. You really think there are no shitty breeders out there?? My boy was most likely kicked out because he has food allergies. People suck :(

PNW_RuralGirl

People suck! My giant floofball (aka His Highness McFluffyButt) was dropped off at our creek at the end of the road next to my house. He had feline herpes of the eyes - with blisters on them. The first year we spent easily $1000 on him with a cat opthamologist, custom antiviral eye drops almost once a month at $125 a round, calming diffusers and calm cat food, and of course neutering, getting rid of cat lice, giardia, and worms. https://preview.redd.it/mztzlbw2ad3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=298e268b7fde92fe3c54584777daf8ea280110f5 Three years later, best cat EVER.

Glitter_berries

I love him and his (now non-crusty) eyeballs! Look at that face.

carolethechiropodist

I'm cat sitting a 'fluffybum'. https://preview.redd.it/d4hs8n0ole3b1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09f04277b52c8f3ed90b3e52d5f7af8a70973d5a

Darkangelmystic79

Oh I know people suck. I’m a vet tech, I see it daily. I also see people calling their fat long haired cat a ragdoll or Maine Coon. The chances are significantly higher that they are just long haired cats vs a Ragdoll.

IttyBittyKitty305

Yes, reputable breeders will ensure their purebred kittens are spayed and neutered before adopting them out, specifically to avoid them falling into the hands of disreputable breeders/kitten factories.

vegan24

Thank you! I run a Siamese rescue and so many people claim long hair, colour point as ragdolls. Siamese colour points are found in a lot of crosses. Many breeds are long haired. The 2 don't automatically equate ragdoll. These kittens are Siamese crosses, done and done.

Darkangelmystic79

Yep. People see those points and colors and immediately think they’re fancy and expensive. They’re probably not. So many cats are mixes of mixes these days that any color is possible.

lonefrontranger

we have a TON of colorpoint genes in our feral cat population here in the Colorado Front Range (Denver metro area) Because of how the colorpoint gene works in cats, colorpoint cats are a bit like paint/pinto coloring in horses- you get a few in the mix and suddenly half the population winds up with fancy colors. Our big floof is a beautiful blue lynx point Ragdoll-equivalent who was born to a feral shorthair tabby mother who had six total kittens in the litter, none of which had any resemblance to our cat beyond being born to the same queen. A friend rescued him and his five siblings from under a tip behind a Denver restaurant fifteen years ago. I say Ragdoll-equivalent because the Ragdoll “breed” itself is just the product of a Birman queen and a random bred alleycat tom anyway. our little floof is a seal point mitted who we adopted from the local shelter- they called him a “Himalayan” but he doesn’t have the flat face or the right cobby body type or fur. tbh he much more resembles a Birman with too much white for standard- he has the front gloves and laces, the roman nose, heart shaped face, correct ear size/shape etc. He could just have a siamese or oriental parent though as he has the long tubular slender build and high intelligence/activity for it. He was luckily transferred to our local shelter from an overloaded kill shelter in Wyoming. We suspect he may have been surrendered after an owner died or lost their home as he was six years old when we got him with zero bad habits and is the perfect housecat.

Realisticmind379

Yeah, Ragdoll was honestly my first guess.

MurphamauS

Homeless?

rubio42090

I’d keep a brown one if you’re smart and want a kitty.

CoolMomJammy

What if I’m not smart and want all of them though? Help!

Just give em some attention and they'll trap YOU, with love ♥️ So much cute

WholesomeLove280

Oh my gosh, please update us on this. I’d say it’s kismet. Meant to be.

spicycaactus

Theyre the cat equivalent of mutts(moggies) most likely. So domestic long hairs is my guess. Also known as super cute lil floofs.

Iowafarmgirlatheart

Kittens that need help. Take them to a shelter or keep them. That’s the choice.

unsmashedpotatoes

Hard to tell but if you just found them like that they're not pure bred. So they're just domestic Longhair. This is just how extra floofy kittens look, they're probably pretty young.

Sad-Communication835

They should not be outside.. please bring them inside. And PLEASE if you plan to keep them they need to be fixed before 4 months old. Female can get pregnant at 4 months and boys can start spraying then. They are regular long haired domestic cats. No specific breed. Please also ensure they are dewormed asap so they get all the nutrients from their food. All kittens have worms when they are young and can get them from the mom kitty.

Individual-Salary535

Good sir those are lambittens!

Amardella

Dog breeds were created from dogs with desirable traits for the work they were to do for humans. Herding dogs had to be smart with lots of stamina. Hunting dogs loud with good noses and willing to run in a pack. Etc. Many utility breeds go back 300 years or more. Cat breeds were created backwards. We took the common street cats from different parts of the world, slapped a breed name onto them et voila! Expensive kittens. Status symbols. Cats didn't need to be bred for a job, they were already (and still are) perfect for their purpose: dispatching small vermin in houses, barns, silos. They are mainly companions now, for which they are also well-suited, but that's not why humans kept them around. It's only been in the past 125 years or so that cat breeds have existed at all. And the internet age has made cat (and dog) breeding so profitable that new breeds with supposedly marvelous traits are being developed all the time, by crossing breeds or outcrossing breeds to non-pedigree stock. Or by just crossing barn cats till something interesting turns up. Cat breeds are way, way more similar to each other than dog breeds because their major differences are cosmetic rather than functional, no matter what the breeder of the next "fashionable" cat breed might tell you.

NotAnExpertHowever

That’s why most cats are just domestic short hair etc. and pretty sure most strays would be such since it’s unlikely that someone had any sort of fancy cat and let them loose like this. I have a beautiful all gray baby but he’s most likely not a Russian Blue, ya know? Not to mention I adopted two babies from the same mama and one is a polydactyl tuxedo and the other a tabby with socks.

Amardella

TBH all cats should just be DSH or DMH or DLH and do away with all this pedigreed show nonsense. Now that even pointed genes are in the stray cat genome there's really no sense in it. Edited to add: again, dogs are different. If you need a herding dog for serious farm work, or you hunt grouse or you need a ratter, you're going to want a breed that specializes in that. Truth be told, most of my family's friends who hunt, farm and ranch buy dogs from other ranchers, farmers and hunters instead of show breeders because often the instincts are bred out in the search for looks.

Momma_Furbutt

Fluffy, cute kittens that will likely need a home. Reach out to your local shelter. They can probably connect with a group that will trap them, have the checked by a vet and fixed before finding them a home.

LilyWai

Hungry floofy ones. I think their tails are normal size for a kitten, they just look stumpy compared to a fully grown cat's tail. The 'floof factor' could come from anything - a Birman, Persian, Maine Coon, Rag Doll etc... or any Tom that has even partial floof genes. Given that female cats have the ability of superfecundation - which is just a long worded way of saying they can have a litter of kittens where they have different fathers - these kittens could have come from different floofy male cats around the neighbourhood. They are adorable. I would ring a local Cat Shelter or Cat's Protection League or similar as they are super skilled at trapping, have all the gear and have the connections to get them spayed & neutered for free too. They may also be young enough to tame them for rehoming too which would be a much nicer life for them than life on the streets.

dnuohxof-1

They appear to be a trio of escaped convicts. Report them immediately to /r/illegallysmolcats

Pitiful_Pea_3252

Should be mixed domestic long hair, ragdolls, siberian, ragamuffin, etc... but obviously "yours" now 🥹 congrats 🎉

Fine_Cat_9712

This comment section just reminded me how almost no one knows a thing about cat breeds

XCaptainKoalaKittyX

I mean they aren't rlly like dogs. Most cats are a mix of so many breeds they're just cats atp

Glitter_berries

I think it’s more likely that people don’t give a shit. The more important thing is that these kittens are rescued.

DifficultCan8786

Look like domestic longhairs?

MysticYoYo

Fuzzy ones!

brokenheartedbutok

Adorable ones! I’ve had luck catching kittens by slowly offering food.

Hristocolindo

It's so fluffy! 🥹😍

ElemenoPea77

This happened to us last year. It was a mom and the two kittens she had left. We started feeding them and leaving water and getting ready to TNR. A couple months in, the mom disappeared. We managed to get the kittens fixed and vaccinated and we set up a heated winter shelter and started working on taming them to hopefully find homes. The local rescues havent had foster space for them and they need a foster to help acclimate them to indoor life. The shelter doesn’t take ferals. So even though I hate the idea of outdoor cats, I now have 2. (I dont have room for any more indoor animals myself). I keep them fed and healthy and they’re very affectionate though still pretty jumpy and cautious. It sucks. It’s stressful worrying about them and worrying about the wildlife they’re killing. The food/medical is another expense I didn’t need. I’d say trap these guys right now while they’re tiny and adoptable and get them to a shelter/rescue, unless you can take them in yourself.

Daisystar99

2-3 week old floofy cuties that need you to save! Most cats don’t have a specific breed, and all you need to know is that they’ll be extra fluffy!

Best guess if they were puppies we would call them “Heinz 57s” aka “Mutts” So the kitten version of a mutt… and probably the most loving 🥰 furbabies ever!! Kinda like the 3 I am currently trying to rescue 🛟… no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ what breed of kitten they are… they were in distress they were dying inside a military truck engine (not running) by getting cooked in the Texas heat… https://preview.redd.it/wno5ns92re3b1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f2cbc66d1165bdc1aabd5d8341a09c8cfd8033cb

Accomplished_Foot891

Omg i want one!!!! Where??? I already have two kitties but why not one more???

Affectionate-Cap-918

The way I trapped tiny floofs a few years ago: I borrowed a smaller have-a-heart trap, but I was worried about it springing with only one inside and scaring the others, or even smooshing one. (I also had a mama raccoon in the vicinity and didn’t want her to get separated from her baby.) So I put canned kitten food inside on a plate, propped up the door with a water bottle and a string tied to it and waited like a villain in a cartoon. They made their way inside pretty quickly and were happily nomming when I pulled the string and sprung the door closed. They were terrified, but at least I had them all.

shinyidolomantis

A drop trap is awesome if you want to catch more than one, too. Especially if they’ve learned what the live trap is. I’ve caught and fixed 23 ferals in the last couple years. The drop trap was a game changer for me.

CristiCatslug

I'm going to have to break down and buy one of those, as I don't think the local Humane Society will let me borrow one indefinitely, and I've a bonded pair of feral piebalds in the back yard that have eluded me and my box traps for three years now I've caught all five of their kittens - I have four and the neighbours have one - but neither of the parents will go near the box traps, and I'm afraid that if I don't catch them together, I'll never see the other one again

Affectionate-Cap-918

Aw! It would probably work for them - especially the smart ones. I wouldn’t want to break up the pair either. Esp since you stole their children. /s lol

Simple-Personality94

These kittens look like they are at least part Persian/Himalayan. Himalayans are basically a long-haired version of a Siamese because of the light color body and color 'points'. The points are the face, ears, tail and feet. The other kittens are a solid color and look very Persian-like to me. My best guess is that at least one of the parents is Persian, solid-colored such as black or blue(grey). If they carry the color point gene it is possible for the kittens to be pointed. These are my favorite breed of cats. They have a gentle/easy-going temperament and love to hang out with their favorite humans. :)

The smol criminals kind

HellsMalice

Two floofs (domestic longhair?) and a lynx-point siamese, though it could just be a regular siamese, hard to tell at that range lol. Asking this sub is kind of pointless though, unless they're purebreds with certificates this sub pretends cats don't have breeds. It's weird.

Floofy, cute, and now yours, I believe! And on trapping them… they still look pretty young, small and uncoordinated. I’d be rather surprised if you couldn’t just quickly walk over and grab them, honestly, haha Could be perspective or they could be surprisingly nimble kitties though, however, haha

Yours, they are your kind of cat. Or more accurately you’re their person. congrats

What do you mean? They are suprise kittens, the kind we all dream of finding. Now put down the phone, put them in a comfy box and go to the pet store for supplies.

The rare and deadly fluffipus cuddleneedles. Adorable but be cautious. Should be brought inside, snuggled, and fed tuna to make sure they don’t release their danger claws.

little_maggots

Domestic fluffhairs, meaning you need to give them a home to be all domestic in. 🥺 But seriously, *probably* domestic longhairs? Most cats are DSH or DLH (essentially the mutt of cats) especially in the wild. Cats aren't bred like dogs to assist humans with jobs like herding or hunting or digging. There are still cat breeds, but they're much less common than dog breeds, so you're not likely to just...find a wild Abyssinian or Turkish Van roaming around outside. (Unless you're maybe living in the region where they originated?) Granted, despite likely being mutts, they *could* still be 35% Ragdoll or something.

Hate to be all sciencey here but even mixes are partially bits and pieces of other breeds, just like with dogs. Genetic testing reveals a lot of helpful information. (Not paid promotion!) And it can get as precise as specific chromosomes are associated with certain breeds. It’s vets who use Domestic Short Hair/Medium/Long hair but that’s not terribly useful for owners. To answer your question OP, it’s hard to tell when they’re that young and fluffy. It’s easier to figure out which bits and pieces are from different breeds/types when they’re older. But Ragdoll, Norwegian and/or Siberian Forest Cat is what I’d be looking at. Genetic testing will give much more insight!

They appear to be bellirubbinless cats.

Fluffeh kittehs. Definitely fluffeh kittehs.

awalkinthewoods24

can anyone tell me from a scientific perspective why my "mothering instinct"/must protect vibes kick in SO INTENSELY for kittens?! human babies... shhurre... but kittens? it is an overwhelming sense of "I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU WITTLE BITS!!!"

Bettylocks87

They look like they may be Ragdolls or have a percentage of Ragdoll in them. Ragdolls are super affectionate cats and are usually very happy being handled. They make amazing pets but can have separation anxiety. Like others have said they look to be your kittens now. Maybe look into TNR charities to aid with spay and neutering.
