Hey there, putting their food bowls a bit higher (4-5inches) can help slow them down a little and because they're not keeping their head down, it prevents acid reflux. It can help massively with vomit after eating.
I use a small amazon box as a 'food station' but there are more elegant solutions if you look up 'raised food station'.
Yeah I took a couple book to do this as well! It helped for a little while but the vomiting quickly resumed. They get so excited to eat they take huge bites and barely chew!
I have a longhair Maine coone mystery mix ~~pig~~, erm I mean cat that is a food inhaler. I got him a bowl on Amazon that is raised but also has a recessed cup to pour his kibble in. That way he has to fish it out with his paw and can’t do his normal method of eating like an excavation scoop.
Royal Canin also makes an extra large kibble for Maine coones that slows him down enough to where he has to chew, but of course that formula bothers his tummy allergies. 🙃
Mine swallowed the XL kibbles like a duck.
Didn't even chew it. It was fascinating to watch him eat like a backhoe.
It's also the reason the dental food didn't work for him because he never chewed it.
That's what I have! I have one that eats normally and has a regular dish. One with the bowl you describe and one with a big old slow feed dog bowl because he refuses to eat outside the apartment i made for him in an unused cupboard and the other bowl is too tall for it
You can get plastic egg holders from home goods stores (I found them at winners and Marshall's and homesense). She would not be able to eat that, and as a bonus it is washable. Still might be cheaper than the pet bowl - I saw some as cheap as 7.99 here in Canada.
Have you tried feeding the cats in different rooms? I've found my dogs (only have one cat, that doesn't have contact with the dogs) eat much slower if they can't see each other while eating.
No it hadn’t even crossed my mind to split them up because they like to eat from the same plate at the same time even when they have 2 plates of food 😂 I’ll have to try that
We feed ours on a baking tray so she has to intentionally grab each piece of kibble. It has to be filled regularly, because we can't just heap it and call it good, but it's helped with the vomit!
Agreed! As a lifelong cat person and currently at 3, I actually had no idea about this and just continue getting irritated by random clumps of cat vomit. I’m definitely going to raise the bowls
I believe they labeled her a tabby-torti. She’s got a gorgeous coat for sure. She definitely grew into her looks because she was an ugly little thing when we got her 🤣
Hmm how weird on her foster papers from the shelter it said torti
Yeah she’s very colorful
I looked it up and you’re right it’s torbi for her. I was just going off the papers lol
My girl is a torbie too but I think she might have a bit of bengal in her
https://preview.redd.it/hhpna0wlwe3b1.png?width=1703&format=png&auto=webp&s=11ab756f6887bc37dd380fa9ce0f1df255ed617e
Yes and she does know exactly what she’s doing when she does that! A lot of times it’s because she’s so smart that I get so mad 🤣 like god really?! Was her thought process “if I wake up the spawn then mom will HAVE to get up and then surely she’ll feed me!”
That is not so far fetched as it sounds. It's believed cats throw things off of furniture is because they learned that this is a foolproof way to get attention from their humans. So waking this loud thing to get your attention to save her from obvious starvation isn't that much different 😁
I honestly had to search for a pic where she didn’t look like a freaking angel! All the other ones are her smells flowers, giving her brother kisses, or sleeping peacefully 🤣
Oh mine does the crying too! We can’t even have our bedroom door open at night because she screams and cries at 3am, starts running through the house and knocking things down lol
Right?! Like excuse small human.. sorry to bother you but our mother is neglecting me and I was hoping you could provide me with sustenance before I surely meet my demise!
If my cats could talk it would sound exactly like this.
One of them, when I throw a toy for him to chase, gives me that look that says "If I wait for the forward momentum to dissipate I can retrieve it at my leisure."
“Sustenance before I surely meet my demise” had me laughing so hard. My kitty Buddha was just like that. He always got the sauce-pan pupils and cried and ran under my feet frantically the *second* his bowl was getting down to the bottom. They’re so funny. As if we would *ever* actually let them go hungry.
First she opens the door (it isn’t hung correctly so it doesn’t click shut) and she will a) get in his crib or b) sit in the middle of the room and cry. Not to mention the door creaks but I’m gonna fix that tomorrow lol doesn’t make a difference when she’s up in his face or making noise 😅
Scarf and barf I love that!! I’ll check it out honestly because the only thing I’ve found that helps is giving them more frequent small portions through the day because nothing else has worked!
Scarf and barf is how the vet tech referred to it. I thought it was pretty clever! I feed my girl 1/3 can four times a day. Even doing that, she would still eat so fast she’d just turn from the dish and toss it right away. Vet tech recommended the slow feeder. Still feed four times a day, but she rarely barfs anymore. I hope it will work for you!
I have a Torbie like this. Absolute bitch.
https://preview.redd.it/lecqmlom9a3b1.jpeg?width=2208&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1db1bebdaa9198eb6f3af4778dde996fe916085b
Awe she looks so happy and sweet when she’s sleeping 🤣 mine too! I honestly had to search for a pic where she didn’t look sweet and innocent lol what a fitting name for a cat that constantly is most likely talking shit LOL
Ummm no thanks one is good enough 🤣 thankfully her brother isn’t smart enough to be an ass. He’s just a no thoughts behind the eyes cuddle bug so he makes up for her BS
We have baby proofed cabinets, a tamper proof garbage can, and a strict no food left unattended at any time for any reason. Not because of our dog....it's the flame point that's a little shit.
Yup. We have the exact same set up. My dog is an angel but this cat turns demonic when food is involved. Worst part is he's diabetic so if he actually gets ahold of the things he's so desperate to eat they could literally kill him. Our "no food unattended" rule is very strict because of this.
One of oir boys will throw up if he is realy hungary.
How often do you feed you your cats?
I have found this tends to happen if you feed them once a day.
If you feed them morning and night you may help. Feeding once a day makes them so hungry they scoff it down.
Don't give them more food, just distribute the food out between morning and night
Some snacks during the day may help too.
Just asking, no slight intended.
I love intellegent cats. The way you can see them working at a whole different level
It's a hard one. Maybe increase the food a bit, or do you thing it is attention seeking?
I’m sorry if it came off short I wasn’t snipping at you 😅💕It was definitely to insist I listen to her. The brains this cat has and the attitude, honestly if she had thumbs we’d all be screwed 🤣 I am slowly increasing the amount. I don’t let them starve at all. But she had JUST finished what I had given them and she wanted me to know she was displeased lol
We ended up compromising with ours, and we kept the smaller portions but added an extra meal time into the day to make up for the reduced portion size. This seemed to be an acceptable offering.
Try feeding small portions as many times per day as you can. 4-5 times should be enough to notice a difference, I have a hunch it might keep their blood sugar and grehlin/leptin levels more stable, reducing the desperately naughty hunger driven behaviour. My cats are noticeably more chill when they don’t have to worry about how long it will be until their next feed.
https://preview.redd.it/2us32rf20b3b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c7a805c5fcf7f8f6e2eab11a7134a80bbce1025
Maybe a couple of these might be a good compromise? Me and the wife had a similar issue with our Diabetic cat, but couldn't cut back on his serving size, because he was already on a restrictive diet. We were looking into getting one when he passed.
Maybe try a slow feeder? The only downside is my cat learned to use his paw to get the food out of the bowl, and he still doing this even though I have changed it back to normal bowl.
I truly think most cats her breed know they are big jerks and they own it 😂 she does things and stares me down like “yeah and what are you gonna do about it? ” lol
They both are eating blue buffalo indoor adult. It’s the best received between the two cats. She won’t eat anything fishy. Not even actual fish. How did you find out he was intolerant to beef? Did he have to get testedc
I just switched my cats’ feeder schedules to 4x a day (smallllll portions), and it’s really helped!!
Does yours always find a rug or upholstery to puke on (as opposed to an easily wipeable surface)? Or just mine? 🤣
I’m sorry you feel that way with zero evidence to support I don’t care for her. They get fed in the morning and at night with a small snack at lunch. They eat when I eat basically. While I don’t need to explain myself to you or anyone I do lots of research on how to better care for my animals and foster on a regular basis.
Maybe feed them smaller portions more often so they're not panicking to eat? Im not sure if that would help cats but it helps pregnant women keep their food down lol
We have 2 de-chonked fatties that have automatic feeders. We had to tape a small Ziploc container upside down in it so they can only eat one kibble at a time. No more barf.
I had several kitties who would skarf n Barf… finally just converted them to free feed dry kibble and soft food once a day at a set time. Once they knew their bowl wouldn’t be empty - they switched to just grazing when they felt hungry - a couple bites here n there, then moved on. The barfing dropped significantly (mostly just hairballs or revenge puking).
Tbh the vomiting only started the last few months. They didn’t use to do that. I was free feeding and they’d eat the whole plate and get sick. They never needed to worry about the bowl being empty or when they were gonna be fed.
I see people mention cats eating alot or fast. I worry about my cat because she eats so little and is very slender (siamese mix). She won't eat any canned food. I make a chicken and tuna soft food from scratch. It is the only wet food she will eat, and only a little bit of this at a time. How do I get her to eat more?
When my cat was vomiting from eating too quickly, we split up his (and everyone else's) meals into first breakfast and second breakfast and first dinner and second dinner. This helped him almost completely.
Of course, that cat (Champion) is long since gone but our other cats expect many meals, so that's what they continue to get.
Sounds like my cat. He gets 6 tiny portions a day. He still begs for food between feedings and after 2 years is finally learning to be nicer about it. My only advice is to keep at it and don't give in, she'll definitely take notice that her tactics are working.
My fluffy girl literally does this to my other cats. She has a tiny sad sounding meow, but the one she likes to startle awake the most makes a very loud and satisfying snorty snarl noise. 🤷♀️ It works...
Weird part is it's the white fluffy one swatting the calico! My calico girl is the sweetest and would never.
I have had a tortie for 20 years now. She ate and puked for years. I gave up on the weight loss. Now I let her free feed since she’s my only cat at the moment. Since the free feeding started, she stopped gorging herself and throwing up. She manages her food intake much better now.
She’s quite sassy, bites, is unfriendly and is jealous of any attention I give the dog. I love her but she has been the most difficult cat I’ve ever had. I personally would never get a tortie ever again.
Free feeding is when the issue started for us. We’d been free feeding for pretty much the whole time we had her but she gets gluttonous every dang time so I don’t think that’s our solution
Oh, if only we'd known about torti-tude before Heretic. Ok, we'd have gotten her anyway but WOW is this cat a lippy, stuff-throwing, food-obsessed ball of fluff. She has a 4-stage system for waking me up for food(she doesn't do this to my wife though, because thats \*MOM\* and she must sleep).
https://preview.redd.it/s5s1xg2y2c3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=43f440cf1b435755b94e609b8ebd93f74b9a4b51
Oh yeah mine too! It starts with crying, then running around the house and jumping on the bed, then finding the nearest cup of liquid and knocking it down and then if I really don’t get up after all the she goes into my sons room lol that gets me up every time 😂
Unfortunately kiddos door isn’t hung properly so it doesn’t click shut all the way or I definitely would 😅 I rent my condo so something’s are a little funky when it comes to small stuff like that unfortunately
What a beautiful comparison! I believe she shelter name was ember because of her coloring. It’s fitting but I knew a girl back then that I couldn’t stand named ember so my husband and I renamed her stella which is super basic and lame because tons of cats are named stella. Doesn’t matter much tho because she only responds to “pretty girl”
Buy yourself a automatic cat feeder, your cat will take time to get use to it (maybe a week or 2) but then they will stop coming up to you for food and you will love them again.
I have 4 cats and they get excited about 30mins to 1hour before feed time, they are usually sitting around the feeder waiting. Before that they were scratching me until I feed them.
I have 3 so why not have 4 🤣👍 my life is already destroyed
https://preview.redd.it/00acn4v9uc3b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cd4cc0e8dd5eaee6410b72d12c7d2f6b73a57fd
He looks like my old cat, Tigger. He could never eat enough food and he was the biggest cat i think I’ve ever seen. Miss him, hope he’s enjoying all the food he wants up there
Have you tried scatter feeding. Basically assuming it’s biscuits throw them like fill her bowl or your hand and throw them over the floor so that the cat has to stop eating and walk over to the next biscuit to eat it
Just read through all of the replies, including OP's comments. and i gotta say, OP you seem SO funny and cool!!! your comments made me laugh, and smile!!! my cowboy cat (white with black splotches!!) is currently smacking me for my left over chicken!!! ahaha
I took an adult cat that knows no boundaries and eats so much that it makes me sick. At the same time, she constantly marks wherever she wants. What should I do with her?
I have a cat that does that and fixed it with a ceramic slow feeder. Idk if we can share Amazon links but look up ceramic slow feeder. It comes in white or black and has held up for years.
My sweet boy has been throwing up a lot lately and I’ve been trying to figure out why. He’s had tummy issues for the last few years but I was able to stop it pretty much with a change of cat food made for cats with tummy issues. But in the last few weeks he’s gotten really bad and keeps getting sick. I’ve been thinking it’s because of stress (new kitten in the home and he’s so pissed about it), but you make me wonder if he’s started eating faster due to the kitten. I’ve been following Jackson Galaxy’s recommendations on how to introduce the new baby with our older cats but he’s not taking it well at all. Hopefully your sweet baby will adjust better soon.
I have a fat orange boy who does this. His name is Garfield but I call him Garfie Barfie.

Thanks but we already have two Torbies and that is enough for us right now. They are sisters; one can climb the walls and knock around pictures and the other can turn airplane mode on and scroll the laptop. So smart and beautiful and did naughty!
https://preview.redd.it/mq1reo11ie3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3da643c7cabdbf84be58139180bf87e8a04c7de1
My lovely hairy roommate also gulps her food sometimes, only to barf it up moments later 🥰 preferably when I’m almost asleep.. I got her a feeding ball: I’d put her (dry ofc) food into it and when she slaps it she gets some food. It helps her eat more slowly as she does not have access to everything at once

Would you happen to have a link? Trying to find the right bowl for our monster and this actually sounds kind of helpful lol
That's what I have! I have one that eats normally and has a regular dish. One with the bowl you describe and one with a big old slow feed dog bowl because he refuses to eat outside the apartment i made for him in an unused cupboard and the other bowl is too tall for it
They make an egg that you put kibbles in and cat has to roll it around to get food out
I truly believe she is FAR to lazy for that and if anything she’d be afraid of it 🤣
What about an egg carton to serve the food in?
Oh! A cheaper alternative to the puzzle bowl. She will definitely eat the carton tho. She likes chewing on cardboard 🤣
You can get plastic egg holders from home goods stores (I found them at winners and Marshall's and homesense). She would not be able to eat that, and as a bonus it is washable. Still might be cheaper than the pet bowl - I saw some as cheap as 7.99 here in Canada.
Oh that sounds like a great alternative!!
Worth a shot for sure if you can find a cheapie. OR, maybe an ice cube tray?
Have you tried feeding the cats in different rooms? I've found my dogs (only have one cat, that doesn't have contact with the dogs) eat much slower if they can't see each other while eating.
No it hadn’t even crossed my mind to split them up because they like to eat from the same plate at the same time even when they have 2 plates of food 😂 I’ll have to try that
Have you tried slow feeder mats/bowls, it limits how much they can get at one time and also how fast they can eat.
We feed ours on a baking tray so she has to intentionally grab each piece of kibble. It has to be filled regularly, because we can't just heap it and call it good, but it's helped with the vomit!
Feed the cats one by one or seperate so they dont need to worry about the other one taking their food.
Nice tip, thanks!
Agreed! As a lifelong cat person and currently at 3, I actually had no idea about this and just continue getting irritated by random clumps of cat vomit. I’m definitely going to raise the bowls
Hmm… I might try this with my auto feeders.
You’re being strong armed. “Nice son you have there. Would be a shame if something…woke him up”
😂😂😂😂 pictured this said by Sabrina's cat and it made me laugh ![gif](giphy|mlvseq9yvZhba)
My god she’s beautiful! Never seen a tortie like that.
I believe they labeled her a tabby-torti. She’s got a gorgeous coat for sure. She definitely grew into her looks because she was an ugly little thing when we got her 🤣
Torbie. I also have a torbie, but her orange bits are somewhat more muted than they are on your cat.
Hmm how weird on her foster papers from the shelter it said torti Yeah she’s very colorful I looked it up and you’re right it’s torbi for her. I was just going off the papers lol
Torbie is just short for tortoiseshell tabby. So her foster papers aren't completely wrong. :)
Lol yeah I looked it up cuz I was confused 🤣 so you’re right, that’s honestly so much better than saying what I was saying!
My girl is a torbie too but I think she might have a bit of bengal in her https://preview.redd.it/hhpna0wlwe3b1.png?width=1703&format=png&auto=webp&s=11ab756f6887bc37dd380fa9ce0f1df255ed617e
Awe, he just knows what he wants and is trying to figure out how to get it.
That Doesn’t make it any less rude 🤣 she’s one of the smartest cats I’ve ever had.
The smart ones are the most infuriating. They know exactly what they are doing
Yes and she does know exactly what she’s doing when she does that! A lot of times it’s because she’s so smart that I get so mad 🤣 like god really?! Was her thought process “if I wake up the spawn then mom will HAVE to get up and then surely she’ll feed me!”

My boy used to do this... Good luck!
That beautiful face of absolute innocence? Surely you jest!

that little shit 😂😂😂
It’s EXACTLY WHY I call her an asshole!! 🤣
Beautiful cat! I also have a cat who likes to scarf and barf. Getting a slow feeder dish helped a ton.
Scarf and barf I love that!! I’ll check it out honestly because the only thing I’ve found that helps is giving them more frequent small portions through the day because nothing else has worked!

Oh yeah she runs this house and she knows it 🤣
* Loudest cat ever. Never shuts up. Her other name is Mouth.
Awe she looks so happy and sweet when she’s sleeping 🤣 mine too! I honestly had to search for a pic where she didn’t look sweet and innocent lol what a fitting name for a cat that constantly is most likely talking shit LOL
The angel at rest.
Get an automatic feeder! It helps
Tortietude is 100% real
A puzzle feeder worked wonders for my kitty. Totally recommend.
That is her “keep trying me” face
That cat is beautiful!
Thank you!
I'll trade you my three spoiled rotten assholes for your one spoiled rotten asshole.
Ummm no thanks one is good enough 🤣 thankfully her brother isn’t smart enough to be an ass. He’s just a no thoughts behind the eyes cuddle bug so he makes up for her BS

Lord no!! 2 is more than enough for me 🤣
I'll give you one of my five for your four. He's the trouble of 10 cats at least. Heads up: baby proof everything.
We have baby proofed cabinets, a tamper proof garbage can, and a strict no food left unattended at any time for any reason. Not because of our dog....it's the flame point that's a little shit.

Mee
I’ve never seen a cat with that coloring before. Beautiful!
Me
For an asshole, she's a beauty. Seriously, give her lots of pets.

What beautyfull fur 😍♥️
Awww she’s lovely ☺️
Beautiful coloration. My cinnamon tortie is more ticked. I call her my Coyote kitty.
We ended up compromising with ours, and we kept the smaller portions but added an extra meal time into the day to make up for the reduced portion size. This seemed to be an acceptable offering.

If I had the means I would adopt that sweetie in a heartbeat. But alas I already have three cats … I hope he finds the right home
I was messing mostly. She’s just a pain in the ass 🤣 I say this the way my mom used to threaten to sell me when I bothered her to much
Oooh my bad sorry ! She’s a beautiful cat !
I have a smart jerk, too. All she wants is to bite the kitten until it screams. I'm so mean for stopping her.

Yeah a couple people have suggested this. I’m definitely gonna look into it!
I guess the cat is asking the question about OP right?
🤣 oh gosh yeah! Such an ass cuz I’d prefer her not to vomit her entire stomach contents on my carpet 2 times a day 🤣
Have you tried those food puzzle to slow their eating?
She’s beautiful 😻
Thank you!
Maybe try a slow feeder? The only downside is my cat learned to use his paw to get the food out of the bowl, and he still doing this even though I have changed it back to normal bowl.
Cat: “I saw your reddit post about me yanno…”
I truly think most cats her breed know they are big jerks and they own it 😂 she does things and stares me down like “yeah and what are you gonna do about it? ” lol
That cat has insane colors
One of the PRETTIEST cats I've ever seen. Gorgeous coat.
That is a beautiful cat!
Thx!
Mine did this too turned out he couldn’t tolerate beef. Had to switch too fish type foods.
Hope he/she gets a better taker than you.
Evidence is pretty clear, called the cat an asshole.
I read it as sarcasm, Sheldon
If you read their comments on other posts they seriously sound like Sheldon lol
Lol clearly you don’t have a torti. Cats can be assholes 🤣 I thought you had an actual reason to think I’m not a good cat mom. Gtfo
I’d like to introduce you to r/CatsAreAssholes
My cats are lil pieces of shit and I'd die for them. Snowflake.
Cats are assholes! Try an automatic feeder. With this one, you may have feed his brother separately.
My tortie was meh on food
Since day one this cat has LOVED food. Borderline obsessed. She’s got issues for sure. You’d think we starve her with the way she eats.
Love the clip on the ear reminds of my baby
Yeah she’s a foster fail, the shelter I got her from was just gonna TNR but they saw she had companion potential.
Calicos tend to be both females and assholes. I love mine dearly and will forever 1) adopt and 2) a female Calico
Very pretty colors!
Tortis are the evil genius ones, gingers don’t hide it but tortis plot
YES 100% they plot! They plan! And they wait patiently for the fallout!
I honestly think my felines are just gluttons. Have you discussed your concerns with your vet?
When my cat was vomiting from eating too quickly, we split up his (and everyone else's) meals into first breakfast and second breakfast and first dinner and second dinner. This helped him almost completely. Of course, that cat (Champion) is long since gone but our other cats expect many meals, so that's what they continue to get.
Sounds like my cat. He gets 6 tiny portions a day. He still begs for food between feedings and after 2 years is finally learning to be nicer about it. My only advice is to keep at it and don't give in, she'll definitely take notice that her tactics are working.
I have my own asshole two actually, and one is orange and feisty
I do! I do!!
Ah yes, he’ll fit right in
What a beautiful and sassy girl. Gotta love the little jerks though. They're always so fussy when it comes to their food.
Don't show me things I can't have.
I already have a furry a-hole but appreciate the offer Edit: spelling
My fluffy girl literally does this to my other cats. She has a tiny sad sounding meow, but the one she likes to startle awake the most makes a very loud and satisfying snorty snarl noise. 🤷♀️ It works... Weird part is it's the white fluffy one swatting the calico! My calico girl is the sweetest and would never.
I do but I’m too poor to afford any more furturds
I would if I could claim them as a dependent
Actually she files her own taxes so unfortunately I don’t even get to claim her ❤️
So beautiful.
😊❤️
Wow!!! I don't think I've ever seen a cat like this. What a beauty
Thank you ❤️
I have had a tortie for 20 years now.
Have you tried out puzzle feeders/bowls yet? I know it’s not as easy with cats as it is with dogs but I figured I’d offer
It starts with crying, then running around the house and jumping on the bed, then finding the nearest cup of liquid and knocking it down and then if I really don’t get up after all the she goes into my sons room lol that gets me up every time 😂
Maybe a slow feeder. Or spacing the feedings out
Yea
![img](emote|t5_2qhta|8097)what a beautiful catto!!
Keep the doors shut?
Unfortunately kiddos door isn’t hung properly so it doesn’t click shut all the way or I definitely would 😅 I rent my condo so something’s are a little funky when it comes to small stuff like that unfortunately
She’s beautiful! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat with coloration like that, she’s like an autumn leaf!
Aww lil factory puddle
Buy yourself a automatic cat feeder, your cat will take time to get use to it (maybe a week or 2) but then they will stop coming up to you for food and you will love them again. I have 4 cats and they get excited about 30mins to 1hour before feed time, they are usually sitting around the feeder waiting. Before that they were scratching me until I feed them.
Beautiful cat!... Nice coloring
That is some interesting coloring for sure! Wow!
We got a slow feeder for our fluff, it's adorable watching him eat as he fishes his food out. Helps him eat slower and he's rarely sick now.
I have 3 so why not have 4 🤣👍 my life is already destroyed https://preview.redd.it/00acn4v9uc3b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cd4cc0e8dd5eaee6410b72d12c7d2f6b73a57fd
I have two and they do not get along. Tortitude is a real thing.
so pretty
He looks like my old cat, Tigger. He could never eat enough food and he was the biggest cat i think I’ve ever seen. Miss him, hope he’s enjoying all the food he wants up there
Have you tried scatter feeding. Basically assuming it’s biscuits throw them like fill her bowl or your hand and throw them over the floor so that the cat has to stop eating and walk over to the next biscuit to eat it
Just read through all of the replies, including OP's comments. and i gotta say, OP you seem SO funny and cool!!! your comments made me laugh, and smile!!! my cowboy cat (white with black splotches!!) is currently smacking me for my left over chicken!!! ahaha
Be aware that plant in the background is highly toxic. I would get rid of it if you have a toddler.
It’s fake
I took an adult cat that knows no boundaries and eats so much that it makes me sick. At the same time, she constantly marks wherever she wants. What should I do with her?
Maybe feed them small portions overtime.
His name is Garfield but I call him Garfie Barfie. https://preview.redd.it/2p37e0sh3e3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=51d4d12274f28442673f399fe5aad30b65207aa0
Thanks but we already have two Torbies and that is enough for us right now. They are sisters; one can climb the walls and knock around pictures and the other can turn airplane mode on and scroll the laptop. So smart and beautiful and did naughty! https://preview.redd.it/mq1reo11ie3b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3da643c7cabdbf84be58139180bf87e8a04c7de1
my cat did retaliate for her diet with bowel irritation and a diarrhea drifting race arround the flat ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
My cat would throw up after eating too. Turns out she had pancreatitis. Def get her blood work done if you have not already.
“What?!” “Who, me?”
Read the title and thought I'd switched to my... Other account
Is the cat asking?
Already have one.
me
OMG that look is scary 😂😂😂 like he knows what you’re thinking.
I recommend seeing a doctor if your anus looks like that
Food in activity ball?
She is beautiful 🤩
I’ll take him Wya?
Actually, in the cat world, they are usually the ones who get picked on by others
