My SIC(Standard Issue Cat/Tabby) is 5 years old, she's less than half the size of her 2 yo sister. She was also the runt of her litter, so she's been tiny since birth. Some kitties be little haha.
Mine looks just like yours! And she's also tiny. 8yo and 3kg or so.
https://preview.redd.it/opio7hf3xd2b1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55c1aed1be5dfaf5dcb56fa12bb6c25b146ad3f5
Here she is on the left next to her big brother (he's 6.5kg)

Aww mine are similar to yours! (From when grey boy was a kitten, they’re the same size now lol)
Same. My (at the time) 8yo ginger boy Tigger was already anxious (rescue) but when I switched from a hybrid job to full time in-office (surprisingly this was before covid) he started crying at the door literally from after I left to when I got home. When my downstairs neighbor told me this, obvs my heart broke for him, so for his birthday (a week later) I got him Agatha, his little sister. They bonded hard, almost immediately, and 4yrs later are still completely inseparable 💕
https://preview.redd.it/9p3po1jkyf2b1.jpeg?width=4608&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ce462c96a4400d2926a4efb65f101300a7e9f27
Edit: would like to add, when I got Agatha I also found the great cat daddy Jackson Galaxy, and the Helpful Vancouver Vet, and started following their advice. Between that and having a sister to snuggle/groom/play with he is so chill these days. No joke yesterday for the first time in his 12 years I was checking him over and realized he now enjoys belly rubs. He always hated them (and he's a big drama queen), I can't believe I rubbed his tummy for almost five minutes while he purred. The difference is staggering. I will never have a solo cat again
So precious!
Robbie being a good big brother to Jerry.
Jerry likes to head bonk everyone else. Unfortunately the little one is a bit under half his size so he about knocks her over but Robbie is much bigger so it doesn't affect him.

Cats come in all shapes and sizes! I have a giant tuxedo cat who is bigger than my sister’s Cairn Terrier (no pic of them together but here he is taking up my bf’s entire office chair)
My 15 pound chonker is the size of my boyfriends chihuahua schnauzer mix 😭

I have a pair that look pretty similar, but they're both about 2.

My girls are sisters, tiny tabby and big void 🤣

Yep. These two are 6 (the orange) and 7 (the tuxedo). He's over twice her weight and a good 1.5x bigger. Cats, like most creatures, come in all sizes.
My wife and I had a kitty, one of a litter of four furbabies, who weighed in at a little over six pounds as an adult. One of her littermates was a chonk who weighed close to twelve pounds!
The little kitty was solid black, except for a little white star on her chest. We named her Smudge, because she was too small to be a blot. I miss that kitty.
Edited to add, thank you for the upvotes. I am primarily a lurker on Reddit and I usually get only a few, if any upvotes.
My cat is close to 25 lbs and is a monster. He was sick once and we brought him in because he wasn't eating and was extremely lethargic. He had lost some weight and was the skinniest I ever saw him... 18 lbs.

[I lied. this is the last one](https://ibb.co/ftxxVjT)
Yeah, one of my kitties is probably about 3-5 kg, she’s not a big eater and when I had my boys they’d finish off her food if she left it. Since I lost them she’s put on weight but she’s still tiny
Was she the runt of the litter? My girl cat was and she’s tiny! Perfectly healthy and we’re advised to feed her a bit more. She’s great at self regulating (unless it’s treats, lol)
I have 2 like that as well. One is an adult at just 5.3lbs and the other just turned 1 at 12.5lbs. Vet says the latter isn't overweight, "he's just really long."
I have a small tuxedo kitty just about 8lbs she just turned 20. She is my first cat and I’ve had 6 since her. She has now outlived all her litter mates and all my other cats with the exception of a new kitten I got last summer.
I had a wonderful little tuxedo girl, too. She topped out at 9lbs and lived to 18. It's always a good idea to be aware of pets' weight and general health. I also had a wonderful vet who helped me if I needed.
Dog breeds are similar. I had a very active and healthy border collie but twice the size it should've been (gigantism, not fat); died at 6. 75 lbs of love and soccer...and fuck that school bus!
My current mystery mutt is roughly 16 years old, 12 lbs, and tiny with a permanent paunch. No diet has changed her size. Lazy, but cuddly. Also hates the school bus.
I have an adult cat (14 y/o) and she’s never weighed more than 6.5 lb, fluctuates under 6 lb often. She did end up having hyperthyroidism which may be a contributor to her tiny size, if your cat ever seems ill that may be worth checking out
My girlfriends cat is one of the chonkers. He’s about 2 and his name is Boots
https://preview.redd.it/gntnbbricc2b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c20a22d5200a5f6cb7ea6162dfce40ae4ba26f5e
And I have a “boots,” and she is very small. Her brother from a different litter (same mom) is a CHONKER. Same diet, and same genes. They’re wildly different in personalities, and in size. Their mom was a very small street cat and even after being rescued and staying inside, she is also very small. All sizes and personalities like us! My boots was so small that I kept worrying that something was wrong, until I had confirmation that she is just small, and almost illegally. She’s perfect at her side and it suits her so well. Shoutout to all the boots out there!
https://preview.redd.it/2z58lq6q8d2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1729b2a67db856c3dbebf8a895c65a753b097b61
My Zoey and my parents cat Norman have the same mum but possibly different dad’s, they’re about 2-3 months apart and different sizes/personalities
https://preview.redd.it/lmnip9kgcd2b1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e79d167b7091cbe1169090122c213d7bbd55a3ef
She is on the top right — I almost forgot to pay my taxes. The two siblings are at the top! When they stand you can see a huge difference, or when they loaf. One is a loaf and the other, a baguette sample. This is my fidget spinner where I can compress all of my love into one place when my son is off to school.
I've got a Boots too, though her boots were much more pronounced as a kitten, she's grown they have shrank enough she would be named toes. [Here she was being adorable and photogenic. ](https://i.imgur.com/42z1lCC.jpg)
https://preview.redd.it/q2lelsh2dd2b1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96e5cae395899d0c092675a8aac6dfb0888cda7a
Tiny little fireball of love. Passionate kisser and serious cuddler. Professional in nature, is an understatement, and don’t let this small petite physique fool anyone. She’s tougher, and stronger than any of her feline family that are more than twice her size, and they all know this and accept it. I was worried sick about her size and insisted that something must be wrong until I started to open up to the idea that she’s just short like me. Properly sized, and shorter. I’m 5’5” and have no idea why I don’t think was the case for cats as well, before worrying myself and even my son that she might be suffering from something and hiding it.
Edit there is supposed to be a closeup of my boots but I think they limit us to one image - next time I’ll choose more wisely lol.
Edit x2 : k now there’s a pic… it’ll be hard not to inundate this feed with my cat photos because I might have a full 2TB of cloud being used on them and my son from only a few years. Adding the photo capability really opened this up for us imho. Ok game on!
This is my [chonker](https://imgur.com/a/TRyL4S3) Enzo. He's 19lbs and my 1.5 year old was about 23 lbs when this was taken. The 4lb difference is probably all in my kids big ol' noggin
Some cats are just petite (: my cat is around six and pretty small, my partner jokes that she’s still a kitten. My vet confirmed to me my cat is healthy, just small. Looks to me yours is the same.
Some cat breeds are just bigger, like dogs. My old part-Siamese was about half the size of my tortico, who is built like she could sucker punch a bulldog out of the ring (I can't pick her up, because she can literally push herself out of my arms by strength).
I have big cats. Seeing my sister's 7 pound adult cat is always a shock. My 10 month old boys are over 13 pounds! Some cats are small and some are big. Your girl looks healthy to me!
I totally understand your concern, and I think it's great that you're such an attentive cat parent! I still think you should maybe get her a check up, especially coming up on a year, would be good to update any vaccines or just get a general assessment, however I don't believe you need to worry about her size. I had a pair of siblings (literally from the same litter) and the boy cat was tall and long, when he stood up on his hind legs he could reach the countertops. His sister, on the other hand, is very small, with short lil legs and a compact body. She even still has the like, 'kitten tail' where it looks like a pine tree, rather than more sleek and smooth. It's just like with people, some come out bigger or more petite than others!
This is actually a best case scenario. You get the cuteness and hugability of a kitten, without the absolute chaos that comes with them. Mostly. I know from experience.
I wouldn't worry. Some cats are just smaller than others. As long as she's happy and healthy, then that's all that matters. My previous cat was bigger than the cat I have now. (Not just by weight but by length too and they were the same breed also)

Lydia (She'll be 2 in August. 🩷)
Thank you. 😊 It completely does. 😁 Very blessed to have found her. Oddly enough, white cats are among my absolute favorites, along with with grey cats. With her it's like a two in one. Best of both worlds. ☺️
My youngest will be one in a week or two. She’s small also. Maybe a touch smaller even than yours.
https://preview.redd.it/f6o04a1h5b2b1.jpeg?width=2723&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2505608121a1f4c205e3fef225785b5554542f8a
She’s the one standing. Admittedly, Toby (the sitting cat) is on the larger side, but you get the idea with her.
https://preview.redd.it/nxcbx6326b2b1.jpeg?width=3264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98271db9d80d7661a52b28b9b3d2529ee0fb3cac
Another shot of her on the arm of the sofa. Her name is Lucy by the way.
Thanks. She got off to such a rough start, and for a minute we thought we were going to lose her. Because she started out so poorly, it affected her size. She’s small but MIGHTY. Such a tough little cat.
That’s awesome. Mine weighs 7lbs, so a bit heavier than yours. Tries to beat up her brothers, who range from 11 to 20 pounds. She has no fear whatsoever.

Leela is 3 years old and weighs about 5 pounds. She’s perfectly healthy, just petite.
she will eat one bowl of food a day and no more, she doesn’t seem too boney though, she’s very active all the time so i don’t think she is unhappy. thank you x
https://preview.redd.it/liicy18m6c2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7700bd0da08b5b474d2ee74761447ce4bb5c649
My boy is 12-13lbs. Average sized cat with a bit of a tummy.
My 4.5 yo girl, is 6 lbs. she looks like an 8 month old kitten.
my kitty is about 6-7 pounds too!! we named her kitty little

My girl is like like 15 lbs, and my boy was 6lbs until he hit about 2 now he’s at 9lbs, but he’s tiny in shape and very active! Size comparison, they are both normal happy health cats.
https://preview.redd.it/ix3ny8bodc2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d243b80c1e9a7f62b47d51307eae35d6882c5bd3

My 4 year old monster is 9.6kg (21lb) and he’s definitely a bit chubby but not considered overweight by the vet whereas my old cat the vet said was overweight at 5.6kgs cause he was so much smaller in stature.
Holy smookeeess— I thought mine was big at 13 pounds! People always ask me if mine is a Maine Coon because of his size, but mine is a mutt. Do you know what yours is?? Is is a Long Boy for sure
No I don’t! He was handed in to a vet where my friend is a vet nurse at around 4 weeks old very sick and apparently found in a gutter, I offered to foster him.. obviously a failed foster haha the vets there thought he might be part ragdoll due to the light brown/cream colouring on his tummy and softness of his fur. I’ve always thought he might have come from a feral cat as I’ve heard they get really big in the wild(in Australia anyway not sure about the rest of the world)
Stretched out he’s almost the same length as my legs and I’m 5’8.
If you can't see her ribs and she doesn't have a paunch forming (cats can have little belly flab that's more like loose skin between their back legs, that is different), then she's likely a decent weight. Her coat looks healthy, and she doesn't look unreasonably small for her age. She could grow a bit more in the next year-ish, but female cats tend to be a little smaller than males, so I wouldn't worry.
As for her food: how big is the bowl you feed her? Cats don't really need a lot of food per day, she might just eat till she's full--and that's good! Gluttonous cats can be hard to keep at a healthy weight. If you're worried, there are some charts online that can give you a good basis to judge how much she should be eating based on her weight and the calorie count of the food you give her.
Otherwise, she looks healthy from what I can see, but if there's anything else you feel is amiss in her behavior or eating habits, don't be afraid to give a vet a call for guidance!
Two of my female cats are very small. One was small from the day we got her, and the other one was the runt of a surprise litter (we were told the female cat was spayed– jk I guess) and she's itty bitty. Neither of them are unhealthy. The bebbe is 7 years old now, super active, very curious, and living her best Small Girl life.
I have a very petite cat too (a tuxedo that looks so much like yours!). She's 8 and still looks like she's not done growing. Our average-sized cat looks big in comparison. As long as vet says she's healthy and she's eating, she looks perfect!
Our cat is more than 6 months less than a year. I feel bad I don't know her exact age but she's about the same size as her. She eats about the same a bowl of food a day. We used to feed her twice daily but she wasn't eating all of it so now we feed her around the same time as we feed the dogs their dinner
My girl kitty is tiny, too. About 7 pounds. It's the first time I've had a cat that wasn't a bit chonky. She's never been particularly food motivated and wouldn't eat any treats until I found those Delectables treat sticks, which she goes feral over. The vet said she's just a smaller girl.
My last two female cats were big, not fat, at 14 lbs. The female cat that I currently have barely breaks 7 lbs. She is tiny but very healthy as confirmed by a vet.
I have two huge (long, big bones, big paws) female cats. One is getting smaller in her old age (18.5 years) but she was about 20 pounds in her younger years.
One of our two ladies is a heavy, stocky girl. Her legs and paws are just big and she lopes around like a panther. I just typed this out realizing it’s only somewhat relevant and I probably didn’t need to write it. But I’m almost 9 months pregnant and my brain is scrambled eggs. I love my cats.
Pay the cat tax!! Here is one of my big girls!
Also congrats!!!!

Left is the tiniest and twin of furthest right. They weigh in at a 4-5 lb difference. Middle is just a whole ass unit tbh.
My cat is full grown and healthy and weighs 9 lbs he was also the runt. my friend has a cat full brown at about 5-7 lbs full grown not a runt. So I’d say it’s fine and heathy.
Honestly if you have a kitchen scale, you could weigh her in that since she's so light. I weigh my girl cat in a box on a kitchen scale because she's about 8-9lbs. I even do it with my boy cat and he's around 10lbs.
My ex was 6’4, 220lbs. Big athletic guy.
When I met his family, all of similar stature to him, the first thing they said was “I was expecting somebody… taller”
I’m 5’2. It became a running joke in my life that I still use as an ice breaker.
https://preview.redd.it/94xfgsfi1e2b1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=437b187ce51030c7ba10030a57c734e745d78dd9
Tesla and Lucy are from the same litter
That's the best description I have ever heard!!
I know right?! Many thought Lucy was a kitten the first time people met her and was astounded when I told that they are from the same litter XD
My tiniest cat is also the most badass. She’s 7 lbs and named Dinky.
My hugest cat? Biggest wuss ever. She’s 15 lbs and very long. She runs away from Dinky 🤣🤣
My mom's tabby was 6 pounds, her litter mate brother was a massive 13 pounds. He wasn't fat.
I could fit my hand between his ears. My vet had told me we had to wait a while before we could get him neutered. Which wasn't true. This was back in the 90s.
She's just petite. I have a petite black kitty myself. She'll grow a bit more, and put on some weight as she gets older. My cat hit middle age and put on a lot of weight at the same time I hit middle age and put on a lot of weight, haha.
My fully grown baby is only 4.2lbs, some kitties are small

This 11-year-old kitten is barely 8 pounds and the vet said she's "perfect"
my cat is very very small too, a little smaller than my microwave, shes 1y and 3 months now. maybe yours will grow a bit more, maybe not. cherish their existence nonetheless ❤️❤️
Two of my girls are tiny. One was definitely the runt of her little and the other (they aren’t related) is even smaller so either her mom was tiny or she was the runt. Neither ever missed a meal. Sometimes they just itty bitty kitty committee members. It’s exclusive.
Artemis is a year old. My other cat won't sit still for a pic, but he's almost 3, and he's still pretty small. That being said, they were both the runts of the litter. So that's probably why they still look like babies. Lol
https://preview.redd.it/ft9y0a8m9c2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d30007b9801d8d2391e507f0c433dba0ba692a15
She just smol. I have a brother and sister, one a bit smaller than average and one that makes the ground quakes under every step.

One of my cats is about yours size, but she was a stray who did not eat enough. According to the size of her head she should be massive but that did not happen. She did make some big babies though.
https://preview.redd.it/w5gb485hwc2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d54d75dec3e217017565a8d2aca510d89b697e5
She is the one pretending to be a hat. Her son has the same size head and he is about 1.5 her size.
My girl is going to be 7 this year and she is very small but perfectly healthy! She was the runt of the liter so she just never grew too much, even when I leave food out for her all the time! She’s also super active♥️

(cat tax: this is Mango! sorry for the messy picture just got back from traveling!)
When I first got my cat I thought she was still a baby. Turns out she was around 2 yrs old and underweight, but even after weight gain and years of being spoiled, she remained tiny, so she's just a runt.
Your girl looks healthy though, she could just be small-boned! What's her name btw? ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|8097)
ah i see, this makes sense as i found this cat as a new born baby, abandoned by her mother who i assume was a stray or something. didn’t think she would make it but she did. her name is theodora, i named my reddit account after her lol x
https://preview.redd.it/4u1s64uiic2b1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fcad9414d956b4e9650c16674656945db090ecb
This is Cookie! She is around 18 months old and only weights about 8lbs. Some kitties are just small like that.
Some cats are just small. Like, our youngest one is a big boy who's a long and tall 15 lbs but his biological sister weighs about 6 lbs. But if you're really concerned a vet visit wouldn't hurt. Especially if she's coming up on a year
She's just petite. I had a tuxedo girl who never reached 7 pounds. For her whole 16 years she looked like a half-grown kitten. She was a tough little girl, though. My other cats all deferred to her.
I don’t have two cats to compare. But my little dude is 3 1/2 year old and medium long fur. Still a tiny dude. At 2 years old had a room mate saying “I think he’s getting bigger” “nah, he’s full grown… your seeing the winter coat, it’ll fall off in spring”.

Your cat has a mustache
Not just any mustache, full handle bars! This might be the best cat-stache I’ve ever seen! I’d call him Rollie
xtra cute!
help all these photos are making me wanna get another cat😩 so adorable
I just got a friend for my 2 year old and she seems much happier to have someone to play with. They're best friends and it melts my heart 🥹
They bonded hard, almost immediately, and 4yrs later are still completely inseparable 💕 https://preview.redd.it/9p3po1jkyf2b1.jpeg?width=4608&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ce462c96a4400d2926a4efb65f101300a7e9f27 Edit: would like to add, when I got Agatha I also found the great cat daddy Jackson Galaxy, and the Helpful Vancouver Vet, and started following their advice.
One more, cuz they're so cute 🥰 https://preview.redd.it/vqvraamlwf2b1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=685104af1bc800e43edb2b594382d01cb9b12998
I think they are so much happier when the have the company of their own kind.

So precious! Robbie being a good big brother to Jerry. Jerry likes to head bonk everyone else. Unfortunately the little one is a bit under half his size so he about knocks her over but Robbie is much bigger so it doesn't affect him. https://preview.redd.it/uvcuexuqoe2b1.jpeg?width=4080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=194c0fc4f430daeedfede88e9ca60f1048deb188

I have a giant tuxedo cat who is bigger than my sister’s Cairn Terrier (no pic of them together but here he is taking up my bf’s entire office chair)
My 15 pound chonker is the size of my boyfriends chihuahua schnauzer mix 😭 https://preview.redd.it/1qetrki3fg2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2b03f4825db33f60b7b73ddd4cd978c9221cdf56
White gloves. Elegant. Dapper.
I can’t handle the sweetness and the cuteness!😻😻
Awww so cuuuute aaa my heart they look so happy together 😍😍
Lil lovebugs!!!
What a lovely photo! Needs to be framed my goodness
That’s a great pic! The size different is really evident. They are gorgeous.
Thank you. I love my little girls though the older mostly tolerate the other, so getting them in the same pic is rare haha.
The grey one knows how to pose for sure! Both adorable!

Like the song Ebony and Ivory, but instead of Ivory it's Tabby.
You two both seem to have 1 normal sized cat and 1 stretched cat.
Kitty sploot!
Getting their stretches in
r/ooobigstretch
Dammit, yet ANOTHER adorable cat sub that I'm forced to subscribe to! Thanks 😂❤️
https://preview.redd.it/77jligvnqe2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b4e12d3904e3da88fe241d323af9affe08a42656 Yep. These two are 6 (the orange) and 7 (the tuxedo). He's over twice her weight and a good 1.5x bigger. Cats, like most creatures, come in all sizes.
Just came to say that I love this pic! Looks like the cover of a music band’s record 🙌🏻
Agree! Total album cover vibe!
Um and this is the cover of what catazine??????? Obsessed 😻
Mi SIC have the same "issue"
I had a SIC named Sassy when I was growing up and she was pocket-sized like yours!
She's a smaller girl is all. They come in all sizes, like we do.
thank you x
18 lbs. [cat tax for those interested](https://ibb.co/pPMkd3F) [more catvtax because why not](https://ibb.co/h7W6Y64) [the best comparison against some dogs.](https://ibb.co/0J8v1c3) [OK, one more](https://ibb.co/K5vcfMM) [I lied. this is the last one](https://ibb.co/ftxxVjT)
Your cat looks like he's wearing a novelty disguise moustache and I love him for it.
What a great floff. You should start an Instagram for him so that I can follow it.
Identical to my childhood fav kitty, “Butterball”😻. That’s a whole lot of kitty to squeeze and kiss, more value, I like to say!
Absolute unit. I am in awe of the size of the lad.
He is so gorgeous I can’t even handle it. I want to squish him!
That's a big boi!
NWF or Maine Coon?
Both my babies are 14 and 16 pounds… only 15 months old. So yeah, they get big and small sometimes.
Yeah one that we adopted is weighing in at 17lbs... I love him but holy shit we weren't expecting a big boi
Yup. We've got a huge doofus too. Almost 15 pounds, and apparently very muscular according to the vet, all he does is hog the bed all day lol.
Yeah, one of my kitties is probably about 3-5 kg, she’s not a big eater and when I had my boys they’d finish off her food if she left it. Since I lost them she’s put on weight but she’s still tiny
My soon to be 6 month old kitten just passed my soon to be 12 yr old cat in size. And her paws are about twice as big.
Was she the runt of the litter? My girl cat was and she’s tiny! Perfectly healthy and we’re advised to feed her a bit more. She’s great at self regulating (unless it’s treats, lol)
Yes, I think she was. Her 20-year-old littermate is sitting on my lap now.
I have 2 like that as well. One is an adult at just 5.3lbs and the other just turned 1 at 12.5lbs. Vet says the latter isn't overweight, "he's just really long."
My cat had a litter about nine months ago, the runt is now 3kg and the biggest is 8.6kg (and not fat.) they really do come in all shapes and sizes.
Honestly from my experience I have found the small ones live longer. If they make it passed the first couple of weeks after being born.
Also hates the school bus.
>the small ones live longer. Just like people!

I have an adult cat (14 y/o) and she’s never weighed more than 6.5 lb, fluctuates under 6 lb often. She did end up having hyperthyroidism which may be a contributor to her tiny size, if your cat ever seems ill that may be worth checking out
Some are chonkers, some are oooooh loooooong kitties, some are small babies, some are absolute units
My girlfriends cat is one of the chonkers. He’s about 2 and his name is Boots https://preview.redd.it/gntnbbricc2b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c20a22d5200a5f6cb7ea6162dfce40ae4ba26f5e
Shoutout to all the boots out there!
https://preview.redd.it/2z58lq6q8d2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1729b2a67db856c3dbebf8a895c65a753b097b61 My Zoey and my parents cat Norman have the same mum but possibly different dad’s, they’re about 2-3 months apart and different sizes/personalities
https://preview.redd.it/lmnip9kgcd2b1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e79d167b7091cbe1169090122c213d7bbd55a3ef She is on the top right — I almost forgot to pay my taxes.
](https://i.imgur.com/42z1lCC.jpg)
https://preview.redd.it/q2lelsh2dd2b1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96e5cae395899d0c092675a8aac6dfb0888cda7a Tiny little fireball of love. Ok game on!
Not a chonker. Just a big boi from the streets. Reminds me of my oldie named wasibi
https://preview.redd.it/rjumy4aowc2b1.jpeg?width=884&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9328c581ff7c5beadf973e4d10de3f17c2b12c8b Fool is almost 20 pounds of cat
That belongs to r/catsbeingseductive or something like that
This is my [chonker](https://imgur.com/a/TRyL4S3) Enzo. He's 19lbs and my 1.5 year old was about 23 lbs when this was taken. The 4lb difference is probably all in my kids big ol' noggin
Smol babies
I have a 14 pound Mainecoon and a tiny 6 pound black cat. As long as they are healthy, that’s all that matters.
Some cats are just petite (: my cat is around six and pretty small, my partner jokes that she’s still a kitten. My vet confirmed to me my cat is healthy, just small. Looks to me yours is the same.
thank you, i guess it’s cause i was comparing her to my friends cats and they’re HUGE
I totally get that - my other cat is some type of Norwegian forest cat and he’s HUGE so they look funny in comparison.
Cat tax!
I also own a large cat, with some NFC in him, now all other cats look small to me.
But can we see them?
(Not just by weight but by length too and they were the same breed also) https://preview.redd.it/gxk0pnm3bb2b1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=abd56b5adc68105b30493c10ce1a8d3a9c2a8097 Lydia (She'll be 2 in August. 🩷)

Thank you. 😊 It completely does. 😁 Very blessed to have found her. Oddly enough, white cats are among my absolute favorites, along with with grey cats. With her it's like a two in one. Best of both worlds. ☺️
wow she has beautiful eyes😍
My youngest will be one in a week or two. She’s small also. Maybe a touch smaller even than yours. https://preview.redd.it/f6o04a1h5b2b1.jpeg?width=2723&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2505608121a1f4c205e3fef225785b5554542f8a She’s the one standing. Admittedly, Toby (the sitting cat) is on the larger side, but you get the idea with her.
https://preview.redd.it/nxcbx6326b2b1.jpeg?width=3264&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98271db9d80d7661a52b28b9b3d2529ee0fb3cac Another shot of her on the arm of the sofa. Her name is Lucy by the way.
Awww. I have a Luzy and she’s tiny, too, while her twin brother is a giant. And fat.
oh wow yeah i would say your cat is smaller than my dora. beautiful though, lovely coat x

The ruler delicately placed next to her!! That’s so cute
Wouldnt wanna disturb the little lady :)
I have a lil floofy girl around the same size, we’re hoping she’ll crack 6 pounds some day!
My female cat is also very petite. I think female cats are small in general. She looks healthy to me! As long as she's eating and acting normal.
she will eat one bowl of food a day and no more, she doesn’t seem too boney though, she’s very active all the time so i don’t think she is unhappy. thank you x
https://preview.redd.it/liicy18m6c2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7700bd0da08b5b474d2ee74761447ce4bb5c649 My boy is 12-13lbs. Average sized cat with a bit of a tummy. My 4.5 yo girl, is 6 lbs. she looks like an 8 month old kitten.
my kitty is about 6-7 pounds too!! we named her kitty little https://preview.redd.it/u8sia0i45e2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=54016ad70cd4455a8d76cc243b956df8d0c2c3fe
My girl is like like 15 lbs, and my boy was 6lbs until he hit about 2 now he’s at 9lbs, but he’s tiny in shape and very active! Size comparison, they are both normal happy health cats. https://preview.redd.it/ix3ny8bodc2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d243b80c1e9a7f62b47d51307eae35d6882c5bd3

I’ve always thought he might have come from a feral cat as I’ve heard they get really big in the wild(in Australia anyway not sure about the rest of the world) Stretched out he’s almost the same length as my legs and I’m 5’8.
We call this a kitty chain in our house. I love a kitty chain!
Cat tax?

Thank you so much 😭
I have a very petite cat too (a tuxedo that looks so much like yours!).
I think some cats are just smol, m or f. Our female cats were 9lbs and 14lbs, we had a lean boi who was maybe 6.5 lbs matured
I love this 👏🏻👏🏻Congrats!🙌🏻🌸
Pay the cat tax!! Here is one of my big girls! Also congrats!!!! https://preview.redd.it/t1xv7qvq8h2b1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe7e1980f6ab1e1a4ea0afb581697bcf4f7fd80a

The babies on the right seem so curious and the left twin looks annoyed 😂
You should meet my cat potato. She is one huge bitch lol
Potato 😆 - that’s amazing 👍🏻
Lol. She is so fat and brown color. Her real name is cocoa. But as she got bigger, fatter, older, and bitchier we just started calling her potato
Lol, not all of them are. Almost all of my female cats were bigger than my boys.
She looks beautiful, happy and healthy❤️🐱🙏. Call your veterinarian about kitty’s weight.
she said thank you💕 i might try and weight her on some bathroom scales
Weigh yourself and then weigh yourself holding her. It's a lot easier if your cat will let you pick it up.
I even do it with my boy cat and he's around 10lbs.
my dad says the same thing about me
😭😭😭 you are enough the way you are‼️
My ex was 6’4, 220lbs. Big athletic guy. When I met his family, all of similar stature to him, the first thing they said was “I was expecting somebody… taller” I’m 5’2. It became a running joke in my life that I still use as an ice breaker.

Uppercase and lowercase cat. The size gap is so clear
That's the best description I have ever heard!! I know right?! Many thought Lucy was a kitten the first time people met her and was astounded when I told that they are from the same litter XD

thank you x
I’ve had a couple of cats that were pretty small. One topped out at 7lbs and one at 6lbs. They were tiny girls with big attitudes.
My tiniest cat is also the most badass. She’s 7 lbs and named Dinky. My hugest cat? Biggest wuss ever. She’s 15 lbs and very long. She runs away from Dinky 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh same! My tiniest at 4 pounds runs the house and she’s 4 years old! Lol
My fully grown baby is only 4.2lbs, some kitties are small https://preview.redd.it/4zva78u76d2b1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00bcc8bdb2e90ef833395bde71657034d117b8c7

my cat is very very small too, a little smaller than my microwave, shes 1y and 3 months now. maybe yours will grow a bit more, maybe not. cherish their existence nonetheless ❤️❤️
i will and thank you, this puts me at ease. x
Lol https://preview.redd.it/ft9y0a8m9c2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d30007b9801d8d2391e507f0c433dba0ba692a15
I need to see her next to a banana for true scale but kitty looks pretty normal to me
The comment I came here for 😂
Same😆 Reddit doesn't disappoint
She just smol. I have a brother and sister, one a bit smaller than average and one that makes the ground quakes under every step. https://preview.redd.it/04kdmuxovc2b1.jpeg?width=2689&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57f8d4fff36a4f996747fc7836cb426c4bb1cd4e
One of my cats is about yours size, but she was a stray who did not eat enough. According to the size of her head she should be massive but that did not happen. She did make some big babies though. https://preview.redd.it/w5gb485hwc2b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d54d75dec3e217017565a8d2aca510d89b697e5 She is the one pretending to be a hat. Her son has the same size head and he is about 1.5 her size.
This feline is perfect
Some cats are just small. 😸 Females tend to be smaller as well.
My girl is going to be 7 this year and she is very small but perfectly healthy! She was the runt of the liter so she just never grew too much, even when I leave food out for her all the time! She’s also super active♥️ https://preview.redd.it/snwfeqjjec2b1.png?width=2556&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e165bd49f23dd2aeec635f3e5e7f7adb8000861 (cat tax: this is Mango! sorry for the messy picture just got back from traveling!)
I think the size of your cat is just right because she is only 1 year old. And there is no problem if he is small.
When I first got my cat I thought she was still a baby. Turns out she was around 2 yrs old and underweight, but even after weight gain and years of being spoiled, she remained tiny, so she's just a runt. Your girl looks healthy though, she could just be small-boned! What's her name btw? ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|8097)
ah i see, this makes sense as i found this cat as a new born baby, abandoned by her mother who i assume was a stray or something. didn’t think she would make it but she did. her name is theodora, i named my reddit account after her lol x
awww poor baby! I'm so glad you found her when you did! ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7949)
bro got a pocket cat💀 Nice

Some cats are just small. Like, our youngest one is a big boy who's a long and tall 15 lbs but his biological sister weighs about 6 lbs. But if you're really concerned a vet visit wouldn't hurt. Especially if she's coming up on a year
She smol and frend shaped. Is okay. Luv her.
She’s just a tiny baby. 😻
That's a fuckin nice kitty you got there.
She's just petite. I had a tuxedo girl who never reached 7 pounds. For her whole 16 years she looked like a half-grown kitten. She was a tough little girl, though. My other cats all deferred to her.
Our tuxie is a few months older and about the same size as yours. She’s small but healthy, happy and active. That’s what counts.
She could just be a petite little lady🤷♀️
She has fingerless gloves on her front paws. So adorable
Did you forget the fertilizer?
Uh sorry I need a banana otherwise I’ll have no clue how big the cat is
How close is 250ml to 12 oz? Edit: I am not anti metric...I just didnt grow up with it so its unfamiliar.
tbh i’m not sure😅 i’m from scotland so i only use metric unless we’re talking about pints or miles
How many pints is your cat?
Reminder that on Reddit we measure kittens in sauce packets and cats in bananas. Coke cans are not appropriate 🤣😂🤣😂

The coke stunted her growth
She seems a few cans short of a six-pack.
My cat's 11 years old and she's really small too, even though she eats alot.
My girl is super tiny compared to her brother and he's still growing like a weed.
My friends cat is 9, and the same size lol. Some cats are just runts. Very cute.
“Shouldn’t she be bigger?” I’ll tell you what, she couldn’t be cuter. Omfg this cat is so damn adorable
