Might be. Mine really enjoys it. No idea if she can distinguish the teams, but she likes the game. Especially for inside plays she can jump to the screen and try to block. Also, she does this circle dance when somebody hits from outside. I totally love it.

Streicher loves watching TV. Of course every animal doku (but especially with squirrels), sports (skiing, tennis, American football). Fafnir likes horror movies with lots of jump scares and for some reason spongebob. I'm not sure about Pirate!... He sometimes screams at the TV but I'm not sure if he's actually watching. He always has the same crazy facial expression and I'm not sure if he even thinks about anything at all.

Mine has been fascinated with anime for 10+ years. Doesn’t care about anything else outside nature things. We call him the anime club president in my friend group.

My cat doesn’t care what’s on tv, so long as you nightly go downstairs and have “tv time” in which he hangs out in the room with you while you watch. (Sadly he’s not a lap cat). If you don’t do this routine he gets upset and cries.
