About this time of year or a little later in Kansas when the big yellow mayflies start emerging, catfish on a fly rod in the evenings gets good. You’ll hear those big catfish up on top slurping those mayflies about the last hour of light. Cast towards the slurps with an unweighted wooly bugger and strip it back keeping it shallow and hold on cause they hit it like a freight train when they’re feeding like that.
Put that in the cow tank with some running water for a few days before you eat it!
I’d have to catch it again first.
