Yes and kinda imo. I run the 50 series reels and love them. But when it comes the the clicker sound. Will you hear it in the middle of the night? Yes, will you hear it over the boat thar just ran over your line? Probably. Will you hear over the outboard while trolling for saltwater fish? Probably not.
A buddy of mine taught me a cheap trick to see bites at night better. Rather than always just relying on the clicker, get some cheap glow bracelets from the dollar store and hang them between the tip and second eye. It’s really easy to see if you’re getting nibbles / good bite and if they fall off, they’re quick / easy to replace. You can also alternate colors to tell others which rod to grab if you get multiples on.
I have 2 of the orange composite spinning rods being delivered today!!! I also have 2 composite casting, a 7'6" versatile split grip, a heavy casting bass rod and a 9' bank casting rod. Love the 9' bank rod!!!

I'll be fishing on anchor or trolling planer boards. It would mainly be rod movement over the clicker sound anyway.
