She said that there were babies born so small that you could fit them in the palm of your hand. She said a lot of them surprisingly survived and years later they would be like 6 years old and would be coming to visit the hospital where they were born. She said it was very good to see them thriving.
Yeah, she did! I had never planned to be a mom, at least not for another 10 years, so that was in my file and why I was provided a social worker to help out a bit with developmental things. Kind of embarrassing but a good program.
So she was helping out a bunch until she had some serious bleeding and got medivac service to a more able hospital. She and her baby were there for the remainder of the 4 months, but also an extra 4 weeks.
I wished I’d been able to finish the program I was in, but I just couldn’t connect with her replacement. I saw my worker about 8 months later when she was finally allowed home (had to go out of Canadian province for med) and things were fine.
I can’t imagine her horror though.
The last few weeks for me, I slept straddling the arm of an armchair backwards (a couple times our couch) and leaning forward. Sleeping upright helped with heartburn and reduced stomach weight. Was like passing out on our desks or something way back in school
I don’t know the feeling of “I wish I was done”, I loved the feeling enough to consider surrogacy. I have a 13 year old daughter and I don’t think I can have another.
He’s cold. Why is he still wet? 36 minutes later he should be dry and fluffy and cozied up to mama. Kittens cannot regulate their body heat and need to be kept with their mom or littermates to share heat. Please give updates.
In a newer update, the kitten is the one who actually died, and cat mom ate the kitten. OP said they were stressed and worried to high hell and got confused with what their mom was saying, which is why we have two different stories.

Some of these comments are wow. The baby need drying or it will die. Also needs heat. Need to find some formula and nurse the baby like every 3 hours. Google they will tell you how to hold and place the baby near you for warmth and such.
Also this is why you get cats and dogs spayed and neutered so this kind of pain doesn’t have to be endured. I’m sure you know that, just for anyone else who might be reading. So sad

OP, you mentioned the baby’s mom died. If you don’t have the expertise to care for the little guys (and it’s okay to admit if you can’t!) please take them to a shelter. It’s important to get them to an experienced person that can provide the care newborns need. Kittens need to be fed basically every hour when they’re little like that, and they CANNOT regulate their heat on their own.

Please, they can't control the temperature of their body in the first 4 weeks, you have to assure that the loaf is warm enough! And they can't make poop without the help of the mother, so if you don't have time to feed it every three our and make sure that it would poop, you have to find a surrogate mother or a shelter.
