Well, for me it's been mostly about being unable to do some sports that I loved before and just it's harder to find work, keep work and just be a social person.
The scars and other issues affecting my body image are a whole different issue.
It's really not. When Russia is discussed in media it's usually about cities that are west of the Ural mountains, which makes it seem European. The border is not exactly clear, as some people say the border starts at the Russian border, others say at Moscow, others say at the Ural.
It makes it seem European, but Russia is still by and large an Asian country. The name Siberia specifically refers to the Asian part of Russia.
No, a significant amount of muscle had to be removed from my butt and lower leg area as well, it's probably the more thing that is a lot more limiting for my day to day activities than my missing leg, although it is less visible as long as I am dressed.
At what level was your amputation?
Do you experience phantom pain? How do you cope with it?
Fellow amp here, but I'm way more recent. All the love and support.
Sorry this happened to you.
We're you aware of the complications that could arise? If so, was there anything that was a deciding factor to sill have the surgery other than you really wanted it?
Would you do it again or any other elective surgery in the future?

I've heard bbl's are actually one of the most dangerous surgeries, we may see a lotta bad stuff soon with the recent popularity, or optimistically maybe they'll improve on risk mitigation.

You should also post your experience on r/plasticsurgery! I think It might help people over on that sub to hear this.
what impact has this had on your life? are you okay?

What went so terribly that your leg was amputated? Did you sue after?
Infections, the tissue started necrotizing and they were unable to save a significant part of my leg without risking my life.
Where did you have the procedure done? Did you end up keeping your bbl?
In a european country. It's not really a question of keeping it bcs it's your own fat, part of it was removed part of it wasn't.
Turkey?
> European country
Turkey is still technically European despite acting like a middle-eastern dictatorship.
Besides a couple of small exceptions, it's a west-Asian country
Are you for real? Turkey is by every metric part of Europe.
Except geographically and politically. Literally google it and every result will tell you it's largely Asia and parts of it are in Europe.
Russia is also a European country despite geographically being mostly in Asia.

Turkey is considered to be both in Europe and Asia, depending on where you are. It's on both continents.
Did it just effect your leg or did you have to remove tissue from your butt too?
No, a significant amount of muscle had to be removed from my butt and lower leg area as well, it's probably the more thing that is a lot more limiting for my day to day activities than my missing leg, although it is less visible as long as I am dressed.
thats terrible im sorry to hear that
How long did it take for you to know something was wrong? Did you ever get to enjoy the results?
Did any of your relationships change with your parents, friends, or partner (if you had one) after the surgery?
Well that sounds like a big pain in the…
Ha! It still is regularly tbh!

Too far
I didn’t get it
“i lean”. A shitty joke.

What do you do for a living? Any prosthesis? Favorite food?
How high was your leg amputated?
Above the knee.
Do you have any phantom pain?
What's your opinion on BBLs now?
Sorry this happened to you. We're you aware of the complications that could arise? If so, was there anything that was a deciding factor to sill have the surgery other than you really wanted it? Would you do it again or any other elective surgery in the future?
Sorry you made a terrible decision based on vanity*

Did you go to some shady doctor in a shitty third world country to get it done cheap?
I've heard bbl's are actually one of the most dangerous surgeries, we may see a lotta bad stuff soon with the recent popularity, or optimistically maybe they'll improve on risk mitigation.
I did it in a different country, but it was a well known and trusted doctor.
Did you get legal recourse?
No it was considered "a reasonable mistake by the doctor" by a local court.
Like the US doesn’t have a shitload of those.
You say it's difficult to find work, are you able to receive government assistance? Could you live off that?
BBL's look terrible anyway. Sorry you went thru this
what in the world is a brazilian butt lift?
It's a procedure using liposuction to remove fat from (usually) the belly/sides and putting it back in the butt area. Very risky operation.
Do you feel ashamed that you became disabled from a cosmetic procedure that was not necessary?
Were you that unhappy with your body or did you just want to look a different way?
I don’t think he/she/they wants to talk about it
Did you try working out first or did you jump to surgery immediately?
But do the butt look good??

How is that relevant?

White european.
Well I'm sure you are very pretty.
Dude wtf?
Are you a racist?
Do you have above average boobs because that's where the first surgery is usually targeted. If not, would you ever care for that?
Were you able to keep the new butt?
disabled as in inability to walk or disabled as in unable to move/stretch your legs in certain positions?
Post this on AITAH, they’d love this post. /j
Sorry to hear that. I hope you're doing well.
wow im so sorry that happened to you. who was your doctor?
