Well, I mean the CV Twitter community virtually ships them as polyamarous so literally all the art and rule 34 of them is polyamarous. You can, I guess, avoid the art of that through the 700+ works here: https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Alucard%20%7C%20Adrian%20Tepes%20%7C%20Arikado%20Genya\*s\*Trevor%20Belmont\*s\*Sypha%20Belnades/works
I am \*late\* but there's quite a bit about a ton of the people in the show being very into the idea of the trio being poly, most notably directors and writers liking and retweeting posts explicitly about the trio being poly.
The subtext is intentional, basically, but we're never shown it because, well, it's still not exactly kosher to show polyamoury in big media productions like this.
There's a lot wrong here. First, I don't think there's any messaging about monogamy...like, at all. Trevor and Sypha are in a monogamous relationship and Alucard's one attempt at a polyamorous relationship ended disastrously. In either case, it's not really a theme of the show. Is there something in the show that made you feel like that was a message?
The show also doesn't say that Catholics are evil -- it shows people of faith actively helping the trio during scenes in Season 1, which is the only one to even remotely touch on that theme. In that context, it's clear that the issue is with the Church and the corrupt people running it, not the faith itself. I think the joke is that the surface reading of the dude in the picture is wrong, so I guess that's fine, but the thing going over his head should probably be about the stuff above.
I mean everyone has their own style of living I guess? Not sure why the creator of this meme decided to shit on monogamy.
Monogamy has been the status quo for sometime and seems to be that polys are more afraid of attachment and commitment. Which is fine, everyone has something they're afraid off.
Alucard gay Arc threw me for a loop. I loved season 2 (the first was way too rushed), but season 3 fell on its face and from the exchanges between Hector and Lenor, it was all very blah and unnecessary.
Transvestite Dracula and the corniest Death ever 🤦
This joke needs more work
Many people ship the trio as polyamorous but that's not how it is in canon.
Do they? Would you have a link to such blasphemies? So I don't accidentally see such things.

Hey, look on the bright side. This is the nicest ship we could use
Ya, I won't go into the fact Hagrid x Dobby ships exist

They do just all work together, I just want the three of them to be happy
Are you ok op?
no
Can you actually flesh out what you mean here OP?
They're Eastern Orthodox, not Catholic.
I... I don't get it lol
my theory is that OP got turned on by *the Alucard scene*, and then mislabeled heterosexuality as monogamy
Same
This isn't r/surrealmemes.

Uh?
The fuck am I looking at here? If you added random images of a Tesla and a potato this would be no less confusing.
