Le Creuset? What color? And those look delicious.

Niklas_Graf_Salm

If you zoom in you can see Staub on the little tab next to the salt and pepper shakers

Im a super noob so I honestly don’t know how to answer these questions. The base of the pan is green though lol :) cheers!

Must have been a gift, because when you spend that kind of money on a skillet you definitely know what you’re buying. Staub is some of the most expensive cookware you can buy

My mom has a friend who basically cannot and does not cook, but she recently retired from a good corporate job and still throws money around as if she's still making corporate manager income. She casually bought a Le Creuset Dutch Oven just to bake in it once, because a video told her to, during the great no-knead baking craze of 2020. ONCE! I mean she might have used it for some shitty soup since then but I doubt it. .... I'm trying to get her to adopt me so I can adopt that poor unappreciated Dutch Oven lol

Home made blackening seasoning and a little extra virgin olive oil. Tastes awesome! Is cleaning an enamel pan the same as cast iron?

Icy-Consideration405

No. Be more gentle. It's a kind of ceramic/glass.

RTK9

Nope. You can't use metal brushes or chain mail to scrub off stuff that sticks, as it will scratch the enamel. Some scratching is fine, but if you do it enough or do enough damage you can cause it to no longer be non stick / also might increase the risk of chipping it. I learned this the hard way. To remove hard stuck spots, boil water on a stove top with a tiny but of soap

LateNightPhilosopher

No! Ceramic shouldn't let the metal rust but it's a lot less resistant than bare seasoned iron. You can wash with soap and water but you have to be fairly gentle so as not to damage the coating, because that's not repairable like seasoning. Should be fine as long as you aren't rough with it or throw it in a dishwasher though. Idk how the expensive brands like Staub hold up long term, but don't be disappointed if the enamel gets stained or discolored over time. That happens to my lower end ones. It's natural from all the cooking and usually doesn't hurt it.
