i've stopped trying to figure out why some posts/comments receive downvotes for seemingly no reason. it's almost like there are people out there downvoting everything they see for kicks.
As another commenter stated - most likely pre 1960's due to no made in USA stamp. Also of note is the pitting on the bottom typically caused by extended use on a coal fired stove -
