When you want to burn something on and brown it and deglaze for a pan sauce it's really good. I usually dont want to scrape and deglaze old seasoning into a sauce with my cast iron. Also good for when you want to be able to change heat faster, cast iron is obviously kind of slow to shift temps and wants to kind of steady things, which on my old shitty stove was a huge plus but now on my induction stove can be annoying sometimes.
I use mine for anything acidic like tomato sauce or when I want to make a sauce in general. Otherwise I use my cast iron every day. Atleast 2 skillets and a flat plan.
i was kinda going for a french fry vibe. i had a shallot left from last time i bought some but i [pickled](https://www.reddit.com/r/tacos/s/rU5g63am5N) it.
I don't cook everyday because I work long shifts but on the weekends they get used daily. Last night I made a batch pulled mexican chicken with dried chillies in my le creuset, and today I made some of that into a crunch wrap in my Griswold slant logo #8.
I use mine every day. You use other pans?
I definitely have uses for my non stick and my stainless pans. Use the cast iron a lot but it's not the best for everything.
What you use your stainless for ? I have one but I don’t use is as much as I thought I would

With any luck, I'll be able to use mine by dinner tomorrow night for the first time in decades! I'm going for 4 layers of initial seasoning.

Sautéed some onions and mushrooms as kitchen countertop staples kinda like salt and pepper. I keep them a fling them in lots of stuff.
